Walking down a dirt path leading to anywhere, now with time finally to myself after this start of a day I wondered how I got here. One night I was home sleeping then next thing I knew I was in the middle of a forest with little to no explanation as to why.
Now I'm here with nothing but with clothing that I wore for the day, a green jacket, jeans, and a dark blue undershirt. Normal clothing for sure, thank god that I was given my jacket or else I would've been shivering out here in this windy climate.
Pulling my hood up I take another glance around to make sure nothing out here would come sneak up on me again. Seeing nothing once more I continued with my thoughts. How I got to this point was absolutely something I would've find absurd but yet its the truth, my new truth at least with no clue about this place I'm in though.
Waking up in a forest then being surrounded by two wolves was now my worst start to a day. Seriously who the hell drags a person out here and doesn't expect some of the more carnivorous forest animals to come and eat them before they could even wake up? Sigh At least I did wake up before they could actually do anything.
Now after that start, of course I panicked like most people would and immediately jumped up and almost ran away. Next moment a yellow glow surrounded my eye vision and I saw a yellow humanoid person leave my body and float in front of me arms ready for a fight. Of course I just stopped dead in my tracks and blanked out for a moment, after all how the hell were you suppose to react properly to something like that happening to you?
Next thought that came to mind was 'Oh shit, I'm gonna die.' Took a moment to regain myself because I KNEW who that humanoid back is, after all how can I not? Big, covered literally head to toe in yellow with some whitish tint in some areas to it with what looks like an air tanks to its back.
Next thing I also heard were the wolves growling at me before coming at me ready to tear me to pieces. A moment later the figure zooms towards the duo before rearing its arms back and unleashing the most recognizable sound I ever heard.
"MUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDA!" A barrage of fists met the wolves before they could reach me any further and tearing them to pieces with both of them losing their lives in seconds when THE WORLD pulverized their heads into mush. I followed up by gagging at the sight since I never once seen brutality like that in person. Boy watching this on the internet did not prepare me enough to experience this kind of thing at all.
After pulling myself together I stared numbly at the sight of the dead wolves and THE WORLD, now staring at me blankly with its arms at its sides. Breathing in and out I burst out into a snicker before full on laughing at what I just went through what I would consider my most bizarre moment of my life.
Even mentioning the word bizarre made me double over even further laughing at nothing but this. Finally coming down from my laughs I gazed back at THE WORLD to see it floating towards me, I just waited until it was at arms length for me to say something.
"So where's DIO? He here somewhere? I hardly believe you can be this far from him without being weak, though I kinda doubt that now seeing how you tore those two apart with nothing but a barrage." I smiled nervously when it finally stopped when I spoke. It just stared at me, not menacing surprisingly. Wait, now that got a better look at him he looks a bit different than to how I saw him in the anime and manga.
This version of THE WORLD didn't look that at all buff or bulky, the most notable green heart pieces that were on the knees were replaced with two D's, and there was clock like shapes on it's hands and shoulders. Oh wait this is Diego's stand isn't it? I haven't remembered much about that part's Dio but his stand is still relatively the same as THE WORLD in part three.
Oh wait its coming at me again, raising my arms in a futile attempt I braced myself for what maybe was my last moment here to live.
I was cut off from my thoughts when the weird yellow glow around my eye vision vanished and THE WORLD entered back in me and boy was that weird to think about. Standing there in place with arms slowly going back at my sides I gazed at where the stand stood numbly. I just realized what the action of what the stand did, and my idiotic self just felt stupid when my brain processed that, and began to feel giddy.
After all how can I not be happy at getting a stand? Though it might not be mine, just getting one that I knew of was more than enough for me to be excited at what to use it for. Then reality kicked when that came to thought.
Where even was I? I'm in a forest for sure but the part of Texas I'm from doesn't even have one. Sure we did have something like that but its just for a park and not out in the open plains. The trees here look like something that would be more up north but that would imply I was kidnapped and passed out for such a long journey. I would have at least woken up once so how the hell did I get here?
"Grgh, right dead animals still here." The smell of blood brought me out of my thoughts and I stared at the dead wolves. My gut twisted at the sight and smell of the carcasses so I decided to get away from it.
After going far enough and getting out of the forest I began to feel a bit tired from the sudden rush of adrenaline fading away. I saw a dirt road leading to somewhere and next thing I knew I was back here still following the road at a slow pace to calm my nerves down.
Now what else to occupy my thoughts aside from another recap of how I got here? Well there's what state my family was in before I got kidnapped, definitely something I don't want to even worsen now that I'm gone.
There's now a goal to actually achieve this time instead of half assing it. Who ever took me better hope I don't meet them with my stand. Boy was that weird to think about, having a stand in this modern age.
So many things I could use this for, it has time stop to boot too. Though that does have its issues doesn't it? Like the cam- oh I can see buildings up ahead.
"Wonder if there's some one who is nice enough to let me borrow their phone to call home." Almost reaching the town I noticed some things about the place. The town didn't have a recognizable store, gas station or cement road I could see. Looking closer the houses varied from stone bricks and wood with what was...hay for the rooftop?
Absolutely weird to find here in the US since these kind of buildings were what you find in Europe or in historical towns. At least the latter had modern places for a tourists needs this place didn't even have the most basic store. In fact I could see people now that I'm closer, and they're wearing outfits as if they live in the medieval ages!
Seriously did I arrive at a town that uses a fake village to celebrate these type of events? Reaching one of the houses I decided to just walk by hoping someone with a phone would help.
Passing by a few people I can see their expressions turn from neutral to surprise when looking at me. Why though? Unless these people are the more dedicated ones, if so they are kinda doing a great job with the whole medieval schtick.
All I can see are just normal houses, none of the buildings here were that much different aside from two. One had shutters for a door with signs that said 'Tom's bar' kinda reminded me of a saloon from the old west.
The other was just two stories with some smooth stone covering most of the walls compared to the houses, no signs for it though. Walking around I decided to just find somewhere to sit down to rest my legs. The spot I chose was just the base of a tree that was just about the outskirts of this village.
Looking at the town I just wondered why such a place wasn't all that festive considering that's how they were, if movies were anything to go by. Though judging from the peoples various reactions to me that's starting to seem unlikely now.
Their expressions seem too genuine to fake it, and a few kids pointed at me with awe as if they never seen clothes like mine. It's quite the most common stuff you can find in a local Target.
Well this can mean three things, one this place is so far behind that they don't know anything about modern stuff and might be one of the closed off towns. Two I've been sent to the past somehow. Lastly three, I was sent to another world for some odd reason.
The first one seems highly unlikely given these people should've been a lot more knowledgeable to modern stuff. The second and third seem also fucking absurd seeing how nothing magical ever occurs on Earth.
But I doubt anyone can expect magic or powers to suddenly exist for them just the next day. Speaking of which I got to figure out how using a stand even works, is it just like a mental command kind of thing?
I reach into my mind to will THE WORLD to come forth. The golden glow came back as the stand now floated in front of me gazing at me. 'Well that answers one of my questions.'
I guess using my will to command it is apparently all I just needed to do. TW started to do a circle around my area seeing it responding to my command. Well I just got to make it a habit of using it like it's a part of me.
Willing TW back I got back up when I heard what sounded a person coughing. Looking behind the tree I could see a guy dressed as some knock off version of a knight if the little armor and lance are anything to go by.
"Hello there Sir, are you perhaps visiting our little village for a quick rest?" Wha? I just stare at him blankly wondering what to say to him. "If so, we do have rooms in our local bar, if you are planning to stay here for the night."
Jeez I got to just go with the flow to find out where or when the hell I even am at. "Er...no I was just stopping to see what this place was like. I know this may sound weird but do you know where we are at?"
He's looking at me confused now, just answer the question man. "Indeed that is a odd question to ask considering how many people already know where they go to."
"Sigh Look, I lost my map when I was following a trail through the forest over there somewhere." I pointed where I guess was the place I first woke at.
"Is that so? Well traveler we are in the great nation of Eostia our Goddess governs this land." Eostia? Never heard of it anywhere back home, and a goddess? That's really weird considering almost everyone back home believes in a God rather than a Goddess.
"Are you alright there? You look a little frightened and are shaking a little. Did you perhaps arrive here by mistake then or are you feeling ill?" Right can't freak out yet with someone near me, get it together Farlan.
"No no, I'm fine just suddenly felt the vertigo kick in from getting up to quick...anyways do you perhaps know the route to a city or town?"
"I do but I have to ask, are you perhaps a mage or a cleric by any chance?" Wait what? I must've made a face seeing how he tilted his head looking confused at me. "Did I perhaps get mistaken? I was sure you were one judging by the robes you have on. Though they do look really short for a mage but what do I know?"
"No I'm not a mage or cleric, just a traveler looking for the main city." Pulling my hood down I glanced at my jacket wondering if that's how these people see it as, a robe.
"Shame, I was hoping to find one in our aid against a small force of ogres that the witch has sent nearby." Witch? Ogres? Definitely a new world if those words are being used, mythical beings were just that, a myth.
"Sad to say I'm just a regular guy who knows nothing about using a weapon or casting spells. Do you perhaps know where they are so I can avoid them?" Nodding to my response he pointed down a gravel road leading to the opposite side of the trail where I came from initially.
"Just over there is where they were last spotted by the main road. Sorry to kill your journey short friend but you will have to wait when we can be sure that we have gotten rid of them." Ah so tha- wait really? Damn it I really don't want to deal with waiting when I know that will take to long if the guy is waiting for others to help them.
"Well that's a bummer, thanks for letting me know I will be sure to avoid that area." No I won't, I got nothing that's of any worth for people to accept as a currency here. Neither do I have any idea of how to camp but there's a first time for anything I guess.
"Alright then take care and I hope you enjoy your stay traveler." Waving at me he made his way over to that stone building that I had passed by earlier. Well I guess that makes it a barrack or outpost if he's going to it.
Looking back at trail the guard told me to avoid I began to wonder if I should just do what they can't myself and get rid of their problems. It's a win-win for them and me. After all what can people and creatures do to a stand? Absolutely nothing, only stands can hurt other stands and be seen by other stand users.
Besides I can just steal what the orcs have and hopefully sell them to whoever will take their stuff so I can finally get these people's currency. Making my way to the trail I began to hum a little tune for my journey to this place.
Willing TW to my side I couldn't help but feel a smirk make its way to my face. "Let's see how far I can go with THE WORLD by my side."
Well I did say on the other story that I posted before that I was gonna update the full chapter before Christmas but I didn't.
So to make up for that I decided post this story that's been sitting in my docu for a while now. Yes I do realize that I had made some mistakes seeing how the perspective is kinda all over the place, sorry about that.
Also I'm putting this in one title rather than making it a full on crossover due to the fact I'm not adding anything else like a character or stand like abilities from JoJo.
So apologies if you were hoping for more from the JoJo side, I only had one idea how this story was gonna go. So if you were hoping for more then this will probably get boring for you.
I'll probably edit it some other time when the inspiration hits me again like today. But till next time, cya.
Also, Happy New Year's everyone hope ya get to enjoy your day with your close one's.
