Chapter 438
It was surreal, a battle in a field of flowers.
The wind creeping across the air causing the flowers to move as if they were dancing.
"Ariados, multiply with infestation and Leech life." AJ command
The spider multiplied and it and the copies jumped with their long legs and climbed Faust.
"Faust shake the off" Carlito called
Faust shook its head and body. Multiple of the spider doubles went flying. The attack seemed ineffective.
"Dang it" AJ hissed as the original of the spiders landed at her feet.
"Nice try" Carlito smirked
"Faust, bite" Carlito called
The gryrados charged forward teeth closing in on its prey.
"Quick, Dig" AJ said quickly
Ariados quickly borrowed into the ground evading the bite of Faust.
Carlito's move was ineffective
"Very resourceful but it's time to end this ." Carlito smirked calling for a hyper beam
"Ariados agility" AJ called out
Ariados darted quickly out of harms way
"What the heck" Carlito couldn't believe it
"Ariados sticky web, aim it at Gyrados's mouth make sure it's tripled layered."
AJ shouted to her long legged spider."
"Faust eat that spider for lunch" Carlito said getting frustrated .how was a spider besting a sea dragon?
AJ was not as wet behind the ears as he thought
"Hey remember we are just sparring." AJ shouted reminding Carlito,she can see he was getting frustrated and upset
The arachnid climbed to the surface from underground and shot web from its mouth and backside at Faust's mouth, sticking Faust's mouth shut . The move worked
"Oh no" Carlito gasped as he could see Faust stuck by the web
"Cool move ,huh" AJ giggled
Since a Gyrados doesn't have arms if you keep its mouth closed basically you take away its ability to fight except for with its tail
You are just lucky. " Carlito shouted
Calm down we are just sparring." AJ reminded Carlito again
"Alright." Carlito said taking a deep breath
"Now it's time I end this, Ariados hyper beam."
The arachnid stuck its backside in the air charged the hyper beam
"Come on Faust do something " Carlito yelled as the spider released the beam and it was closing in on its target.
Faust thrashed and spun around smacking the hyper beam reflecting it."
Huh " AJ exclaimed as the beam hit Ariados, knocking it out."
The battle was done. Carlito had won by a thread.
"You did great Ariados." AJ recalled her Pokémon.
"Whew I thought I was done for." Carlito recalled Faust.
That was fun. AJ said skipping across the field of follows up to Carlito.
"Good match" Carlito held out his hand.
"Good match" AJ said shaking hands with Carlito out of good sportsmanship.
