Chapter 448

"Blood In" 1

Sasha still had one more option. Prince had gone off to sulk. Carlito, due to his restored memories, rejected her request. However, there was still one more pharaoh connected to the East that could honor Sasha's request.

After Carlito declined her proposition, Sasha walked to the other side of the tavern. She passed Alexa, Brock and Misty and smiled at Ash, "Hey, can I ask you to do something for me?"

Ash held his glass of booze nervously, "Well, uhh, sure. If I can do it, then sure."

"Well, Ash," Sasha timidly sipped her own glass, "right now you're the only person that can do it."

Ash smiled happily at Sasha, "Well, I'm all for helping out a friend," he jollily agreed. "What do you need me to do?"

Alexa, Roman, Brock and Misty all smiled jollily at Sasha.

"In the past, when the eastern empire expanded to Asia, you were made a pharaoh." Sasha explained. "Only a pharaoh can bleed in a Medjai. I need you to bleed Sonya in for me since Prince is gone."

"Oh," Ash, under the spell of The Fiend, nodded with a smile, "Anything to help a friend."

"Yeah," Misty smiled beside him, "Anything to help a friend."

"Friendship," Alexa clapped her hands together, "That makes the world so much better. Us working together in harmony to make a better world, right?"

Sasha smiled back at the spellbound group, "Yeah, making the world a better place, right," glaring at Carlito and AJ.

Carlito and AJ paid no attention to Sasha. They sat on their side of the bar, engaged in their own conversation and ignoring her.

Roman lifted his glass, "How about a toast to friendship?" He suggested.

"To friendship." Brock smiled, chiming his glass with Roman's.

Sasha lifted her glass, gazing into each of their eyes. Their eyes were wide, very reflective as if they were made of glass. Sasha could easily sense The Fiend's spell upon them. There was no way Ash would say no to her request. The Fiend's influence more than guaranteed it.

"Well," Ash coughed after swallowing the booze, "I don't know what to do but-"

Sasha cut him off, "Don't worry, I'll walk you through it. Can you help me tonight?"

"Tonight?" Ash blinked, "What's the hurry?"

"The sooner Sonya is bled into the Medjai, the better." Sasha informed.

Roman turned to Seth, "Weren't you a Medjai for the north?"

"Kind of," Seth refilled a few glasses, "I was, well, we were Shield. A special type of Medjai appointed by the Supreme Pharaoh if my memory is right."

"Well," Roman smiled, "I'm just happy that we were friends. Well, we are friends." Roman corrected with a happy smile.

Seth incredulously blinked at Roman. He was unsure of why Roman was suddenly so bubbly and jolly. Had the guy gotten laid? What had happened to make Roman behave like the Samoan Mr. Rogers?

"Yeah," Seth suspiciously raised his glass, "Friends," taking a sip.

Sasha approached the bar, "Seth," tapping the counter, "We need a knife and a clean glass."

Seth nodded, reaching beneath the counter and placing a clean glass and knife in front of Sasha, "You're really going to bleed her in? Is she really ready to go through with it?"'

Sasha picked up the knife and fresh glass, "She will be."
