The sunlight crept in through the curtains of a black and purple bedroom. You could hear the crashing of the waves not that far from the room and the girl in the room was woken by her alarm.

Eleanor opened her eyes and stretched in her bed. She grabbed her black trimmed glasses from her night stand and put them on her nose. She rose from her bed and walked over to her window.

She opened the curtains and her window. She let the wind flow through her messy bed hair and smelled the fresh air. It smelled like the sea. Which is obvious, since she lived on an Island with the ocean surrounding it.

Eleanor sighed and leaned on her window sill. If only it was always this peaceful and nice. That wasn't he case for her, though. Eleanor was the nerd. Even though she went to a school that was supposed to be full of nerds, she was always the target of bullying.

Eleanor fiddled with her necklace and held it tight. Her Nana always said that it was magical and that she had to believe it was. In situations like these, she always hoped it was true.

Eleanor turned to her closet and grabbed her clothes. She put on a grey, large sweater, with black trousers. She put her long hair in a messy bun and put on a little bit of mascara.

She grabbed her phone, her pre-packed backpack and her headphones. She walked down the stairs and made a nice pancake breakfast for herself. Eleanor's parents were usually at work or on a business trip. This time the latter. That meant that she was alone for a couple weeks, sometimes even months.

Eleanor didn't mind. She liked the quietness of the house and the freedom to sing through the house if she wished. She was a very good singer and usually made songs herself.

Eleanor sighed as she finished her breakfast. She grabbed her keys, put on her flats and walked out the door. To the dreaded place she called school.

Eleanor walked through the halls of the University of Shawll. She had her headphones on her head and avoided people as much as she could. She maneuvered her way to her locker and quickly punched in her code.

She opened it, grabbed the books she needed for her first class and put her backpack, with the rest of her books, in her locker. She closed it and turned around, only to be met with a punch.

Eleanor luckily dodged it, which the person didn't like. The fist ended into the locker and Eleanor looked at the one who tried to hurt her. It was Josh Shaw. The current boyfriend of Amber Queen.

The two had gathered an audience. Eleanor had no idea what was going on. She was wracking her brain for anything that she could have done against Amber. Josh just kept glaring at her.

"How dare you hurt my girlfriend." He said with venom in his voice. Eleanor just gave him a confused stare, with fear etched on her face. She clutched her books tighter to her chest and trembled.

"You have been bullying her, haven't you? You little bitch." Josh's hand was back to his side and he was still glaring at her. Eleanor was incredibly confused and scared. The one bullying her was Amber. She would never hurt anyone on purpose.

"I-I….I w-would….n-never.." She managed to stutter out. Eleanor was never good at talking to people and this situation didn't help. It was like the entire school was watching, but no one did a thing to help her.

Eleanor started to have tears in her eyes and Josh scoffed. "Oh, so now you have a conscious. Don't go acting like your innocent." He grabbed her glasses and threw them away. Eleanor quickly closed her eyes.

Her glasses prevented anyone from seeing her violet eyes. They had some kind of lens on top of it, courtesy of yours truly. The hid her unnatural colour and gave her brown eyes.

"Pathetic." Josh growled. Eleanor had no idea what came over her, but hearing that word set her off. Her bangs covered her eyes and she clutched her books even tighter.

Josh went in for another punch, but to everyone's surprise, she caught it. Her books falling to the floor. She looked up and everyone could see her eyes. They weren't full of fear anymore and not to mention they were violet.

Eleanor pushed Josh's fist away. She glared at him and quickly picked up her stuff from the floor. She ran out of the circle of people and the students watched her leave. It was very quiet and nobody moved.

Did they see it right? Did the Eleanor Marshall just stop a punch from Josh Shaw? Did she have violet eyes? Did she just glare down at one of the best surfers in the school? Yes, that all happened.

Whispers and shouts started to form from the students. They all quickly dispersed and made their way to their classrooms and kept talking about how cool and how unbelievable it all was.

The day quickly ended, but not quick enough for Eleanor. She had another pair of glasses with her, luckily. But that didn't stop the whispers she got when she walked through the school.

She had no idea what happened, but she knew that that wasn't normal. She had never had that before, but it felt good. Being able to defend herself against a bully, felt really nice.

As the last bell rang, Eleanor quickly bolted out of there and went to the beach. There was a secluded place she would always go to. Not many people knew about it and usually didn't come there, because of the large and sharp rocks.

Eleanor had found a way around them and made a rock her own. She always sat on top of that rock and looked at the sunset to let the thoughts flow through her head.

She put her backpack on the sand and quickly undressed. She was wearing a black bikini with purple flowers on it. It showed off her figure and her big chest. She undid the bun and let her hair fall on her back. She removed her glasses and stuffed everything in her backpack.

She hid the backpack in a cave and got into the water. She swam around like a fish and quickly made it to her favourite rock. She climbed it and let the sun dry her wet hair and skin.

A couple hours went by and the sunset could be seen in the sky. The waves were aggressive and tall today. It didn't bother her much, but she hoped that no one would be dumb enough to try and ride them.

But, the universe hates her, so there was someone out there. Eleanor couldn't see who it was, but she was on the edge of her rock. If this person would go down and won't go up, she would try and rescue them.

Eleanor was an excellent swimmer. You had to be if you would live on an island surrounded by water. But for some reason, when the waves were though, she found it easy to go through them. Like the waves opened a path for her to go through.

The person was riding one of the tallest waves she had ever seen and they did a pretty good job. But, the wave came crashing down and the person was swallowed by it.

Eleanor wasted no time to jump into the water and tried to quickly make her way over. The board had resurfaced again, but the person not. She dove down under. She spotted a tuft of blond hair and a sparkling green colour.

She dove deeper and for some reason it was even easier than normal. She made it to the person in no time and almost lost it when she saw who it was. It was Luke King, the most popular and cutest boy in school.

She grabbed his arm and kicked her feet in the water. She was also losing her breath and hoped she would make it to the surface soon.

As soon as she reached the surface she gasped for breath. She made sure that Luke's head was also above the water and swam towards her rock. She managed to pull him up on it and panted when she was also on top of the rock.

She looked at the boy next to her and noticed that he wasn't breathing. She cursed and gave him CPR. She held his nose and opened his mouth. She put her lips on top of his and breathed in. She was incredibly lucky that no one was there to see it.

After a couple seconds his body started to react and Eleanor backed away. Luke sputtered out the water and breathed heavily. He sat up and coughed.

Luke soon noticed someone was next to him and turned his head to look. He didn't expect Eleanor Marshall to sit next to him, however.
