Carlito ran his fingers through his curly dark hair. His mind blown. This was not what he had expected to be asked.
Carlito sighed deeply trying to compose himself. A tidal wave of emotion was hitting him at once.
"It's ok you can take time if you need it." AJ said
"AJ...this is alot to process and there is only one problem with marrying you" Carlito said
"What? Whatever it is I'll fix it" AJ said tears welling up her eyes. She was laying all the cards out and Carlito seemed to hesitate to answer the proposal.
The issue is...I wanted to do the whole romantic gesture. Carlito smiled
"So is that a yes?!" AJ asked heart beating rapidly
"It's a yes" Carlito said
AJ jumped onto Carlito, her legs wrapped around his waist, her arms resting on his neck supporting her tiny body.
The two kissed.
"Wait" AJ broke the kiss
"What?" Carlito asked
"We don't have rings" AJ said
"Do we really need them?" Carlito asked
"Maybe there's another way, how did they do weddings back in our past lives" AJ said the gears in her head turning
Wedding?" Carlito asked looking into AJ's eyes
"Yeah we're going to have one, we should tell everyone." AJ said
I don't know especially with everything going on?" Carlito said
It'll be something to lighten up things from being so serious." AJ said pecking Carlito's lips
