Chapter 464
"A New Kinda Happy Ending"
Teddy turned to Prince, "Before I say anything," he turned to Eva, "You two need to have a talk first."
Both crossed their arms and said nothing.
Rihanna glared at Teddy, "What do they need to talk about?"
Teddy blinked, "Look here, playa;" staring at Rihanna, "These two need to work out whatever it is they're going to work out otherwise nothing good comes of it. That's both historically and even now."
"I agree," Sasha smiled at Rihanna who leered back at her.
Teddy then examined Sasha and Rihanna, "To be honest, all four of you need to have a talk before we take these final steps in your journey." He looked over the table, "Let's give them some privacy."
Seth raised his hand, "Where exactly are we supposed to go?"
"Anywhere but this room for right now." Teddy motioned. The Swords all stood and exited the room, leaving only Prince, Sasha, Eva and Rihanna in the room together.
For a while, no one said anything. Rihanna crossed the room and stood beside Prince, her man for the last several weeks as the Swords resurrected Atlantis.
Prince exhaled, "I don't know what there is to say."
Eva exhaled, "How about how when all this was over we were supposed to be together but you chose her?" Pointing to Rihanna.
"It just happened." Prince shrugged. "It just happened."
Rihanna glared at Prince, "You say that like it meant nothing."
"I'm not saying it didn't," Prince defended.
Sasha smiled a Cheshire grin at the arguing. She'd long eliminated herself from Prince's heart. Still, history connected the two of them. "So who's it going to be, Prince? Skank one or skank two," gesturing to Eva and Rihanna.
Both women looked ready to pounce on Sasha and tear her hair out for that comment.
Before Prince could shrug off the question, Eva spoke, "Sasha's right, here and now, make a choice. Do you want her," pointing to Rihanna, "or do you want me?"
Prince facepalmed, "We're about to finally go into battle with Sithis, we could possibly get killed and all you all are worried about is where I'm going to put my dick afterward? You all can't be serious."
Sasha smiled, "The man does have a point."
Eva glared at Prince, "I've waited too long for you to make a choice, Prince. Well, I'm not waiting anymore."
"Then don't." Prince snapped. "I wanted us to leave all this behind but you wanted to stay so don't put all this on me. I'm trying to survive not live some Disney fairy-tale."
Rihanna smile, "And being with me and the Nephillim is his best chance of doing that." She defended.
Prince exhaled, "I'd rather just be by myself, to be honest. I don't want an army following me and all that. I've made my money; I'm just trying to chill now."
Rihanna shook her head, "You can't be serious. You have all the power in the world. And after we beat Sithis you'll be one of the richest and most powerful men on the planet and you'll just piss all that away to lie on a beach drunk all day."
"Yeah." Prince nodded. "A life not living paycheck-to-paycheck and just traveling, surfing and chilling is more my style."
Rihanna glared at him, "You are the pharaoh of the east!" She hissed. "You are the rider that will mount this world. You're really going to pass that up to be a hippie?"
"Yeah." Prince exasperatedly nodded. "If you wanted someone to be on some Julius Caesar conquer the world type of shit, you got the wrong guy."
Rihanna shook her head, "If you had your memories-"
"I'd probably realize that was then and this is now. Who I was versus who I am are two different things, if you're in love with who I was then I guess that means you don't love who I am or who I'm going to be. And that's cool; we'll both live and move on. I just wanna finish this shit with Sithis and go chill." Prince admitted.
Sasha and Eva both smiled.
"I have all my memories," Sasha began, "And he's right. Even being reborn with all my memories, I'm still the Goddess of the East but do I desire to conquer the entire world like I did before? No." Sasha shook her head. "I wanna finish this business with Sithis and use my wrestling skills to make women's wrestling the biggest thing in the world and become a better pokemon trainer."
Eva glared at Rihanna, "The only one that wants to rule the world is you, Rihanna."
Rihanna pouted her lips and stared disappointingly at Prince, "So that's it? Forget about you and me? Forget about all I've done for you? All that I've taught you?"
Prince exhaled, "Rihanna, the Nephillim was just a plot-device to introduce Hollywood and celebrities into the fold for Larrell's story that he never finished with Kanye and them assassinating Trump."
Rihanna covered her mouth, "Breaking the fourth wall."
"Ehh," Sasha shrugged, "At this point fuck it. Let's talk about all of it. Let's talk about why this is the end."
Prince nodded, "Yeah, looking at the four of them. For one thing, this has become a time-piece. America has changed a lot during these five years this story has been written. The way America was when that church got shot up on the East Coast compared to how it'll be in 2022 are so vastly different."
"Yeah," Eva admitted, "Ever since the middle of COVID it became okay for society to openly like black people. That's not saying racism is gone. It definitely still exists but the world embracing black people and making it okay to openly show love is completely different than how things were when Swords first started."
"Yeah," Sasha agreed, "So a lot of Season One won't age too well, will it?"
"Probably not," Prince admitted, "Still, I'm glad we did it. It's moreso a reflection of my college years. And now that I'll be graduating soon, it's time to close this story."
Suddenly, the door opened, and inside wearing a thick cloak over his silver dreads stepped Sithis, "Well, since we're breaking the fourth wall, can we just get my part over with?"
"Yeah," Prince nodded, "We can do that."
"Yeah," Sithis shrugged, "Some folks will complain that there wasn't a final battle but it was already a foregone conclusion that I was going to take the L, right?"
"True." Everyone nodded.
"Ummm," Seth rose his hand, "Do we still have to wait outside?"
Teddy shook his head, "I don't think so, playa. Let's all just head on in."
Then, in less than a minute, the banquet hall filled with everyone. All of the Swords, including the ones abducted by Sithis all entered the banquet hall and took a seat, all staring at Sasha, Prince, Eva and Rihanna.
"Well," Rihanna hissed, "Since you're rejecting becoming leader of the Nephillim," she leaned forward planting a kiss on Prince's cheek, "Sayonara, darling," before sauntering out of the banquet hall.
"Damn," Roman shook his head, "That had to be some good pussy, for real."
"It was," Prince nodded.
Sasha and Eva both shot daggers of anger at Prince.
"What?" Prince innocently shrugged.
Bayley emerged from the crowd, and without a word threw her arms around Sasha, "It's so good to be back. I never really got the chance to be evil and brainwashed but it's good to be back."
Prince scratched his head, "Yeah, you were supposed to inherit Arceus from Sithis and become the strongest of us all and finish off Sithis once and for all."
"I was?" Bayley gawked.
"Then," Sasha added, "There was also the legendary birds arc that never got written."
"Yeah," Eva nodded, "There were dozens of arcs that never got written because there were only two writers when originally there were six."
"Yeah, it's like the final Three Six Mafia album, Last 2 Walk," Teddy added. "So," he rubbed his hands together, "The question we've all been waiting for, who's it going to be, Prince?"
"It's going to be," Prince exhaled, holding out his cell phone, "pornhub."
"What?" Everyone gawked.
"Nah, just joking." Prince smiled, "See originally the ending was gon be Prince had to put Sasha down once and for all and he Eva sailed off to an island together, I became a gym leader and Eva the host of contests."
Sasha looked like someone had just force-fed her a bottle of earwax, "You were really going to kill me off in the end? Really?"
"Well, you're alive, right?" Prince innocently shrugged, "At some point all that wheeling, dealing and scheming was going to have to catch up to you, right?"
Sasha didn't seem sold on Prince's explanation. "Well, you did the right thing of changing the ending to this and leaving The Boss alive. Now make a choice, The Boss or The Skank!" Pointing to Eva.
Everyone in the room stared at Prince, waiting for him to finally make his decision.
In the crowd Larrell nodded and smiled, a silent nod of advice to Prince.
"I'm going to take a page out of homeys book," Prince admitted, "and say both."
"What?" Eva and Sasha both gawked.
"You can be sister-wives." Prince smiled.
Sasha and Eva both looked mortified.
"Think about it, playa." Teddy added, "had you just did that in the beginning The Promised Lands never would have fallen."
Sasha and Eva both stared at eachother.
"Could we even get along?" Eva questioned.
"Could we?" Sasha wondered.
Larrell strode forward, "you two would no longer be competing but working as a team and learning to love eachother as well. Isn't there something you both respect about eachother?"
Both thought long and hard.
"Okay," Sasha nodded, "But I'm still The Boss."
Eva smiled, "Well, I guess this'll be a new type of happy ending."
Sithis exhaled, "Well, I guess that settles it. I'm going back to Africa. Gotta save it from the Chinese and Akon."
Teddy suppressed a chuckle.
Carlito gave a soft salute, "We're off to start our own new journey." He and AJ both waved.
"Well," Teddy shrugged, "I guess that's it, right?"
"Yeah," Roman nodded, "I mean, it's a time-piece. Even if you look at the start. It was at the beginning of the rise of the Horsewomen. That time has begun to fade as well. The college years are over now."
"Yeah," Seth agreed.
Nikki Bella smiled, "So much has changed I don't even have to gold-dig anymore."
"True." Teddy admitted as Prince, Sasha and Eva both nervously eyed eachother.
Larrell clapped his hands, "Here's for polyamory," rubbing his hands together like Birdman.
"Whatever works for you, bro." Carlito smiled.
Sasha and Eva both smiled at Prince. "Well, that's…THE END"
"One thing though, playa," Teddy leaned forward, "What's the next story gon be?"
Prince shrugged, "I don't know."
"Is this how you really wanna close, playa?" Teddy asked. "You'll have no regrets?"
"I definitely have regrets but, that's life. You're always going to have things you wish you did less of or more of. I'll have regrets but, I'm fine with this." Prince admitted, "Besides, I can always add Lost Chapters to it. The main storyline though, that's it. It's a time-piece and reflective of the college years between 2016-2022."
"Holla, holla."
