Song: HER - Damage

Dabi was leaning on his arm as he stared down at the woman laying next to him. This was the most content he's ever felt in his entire lifetime, and it scared him to his very core. He was strict on himself wanting to finish what he'd started with little to no distractions. But then he met Siren.

She was supposed to be a new member for the League, instead he decided to keep her for himself. But that was also when her quirk was deemed useless to the cause. He smirked at the thought 'She tricked me into thinking that…you really are, perfect for me…'

'But what happens next? I know what I have to do…but what about you? What will your next move be?..All her stuff is gone so she wasn't just evacuating..'

Sirens eyes opened slowly and Dabi continued to stare. Her eyes noticed his and she turned her head to look up at him fully.

No words where spoken as she stared back at him. Her lavender irises met his turquoise and it wasn't long before they where all over each other. Lips mashed together and tongues fighting a never ending battle of dominance when the sound of her phone ringing made her pull away.

Thankfully this time it wasn't Hawks. Instead it was Reggie and she picked up the phone to answer as Dabi sighed upset that she chose the device over him.

"..Sup Reggie?"

"Well you sound really calm for someone who's stuck in a country with no hope and no way out."

"Yeah I know-" "Seriously Siren, what the fuck happened?!"

She sighed at the fatherly tone in his voice. "I went to see Hawks in the hospital and when I was about to go to the airport I got shot."

"Tha fuck!-" "Obviously I'm not dead. I'm okay, the bullet went through my arm, but obviously I couldn't get on a long ass flight like that."

"Goddamnit…what are we supposed to do? We have interviews and TV appearances already scheduled, hell the tour is supposed to start in two months-"

"Calm down Reggie. It's not just Japan, the whole world is in a state of crisis right now. I think everyone will understand if we post pone things for a bit."

"What about you though? You seemed like you really didn't want to be in Japan anymore."

"..It wasn't that I didn't want to be here…I have a lot of things that need to be done back in America so I'm taking an extended vacation to do just that."

"Okay..so why aren't you here?"

"I'm working on it. Since I missed my flight I-I'll have to get back to you about that. I'm getting another call." Siren hung up with Reggie and quickly answered the unsaved number.

"Hello?"

"Siren?"

"Hana?" This was a surprise.

"Tell me you're in America sitting on a beach somewhere?"

"I wish, I'm still at my place-" "Are you serious?! You have to get out of there and go to a shelter or better yet, you should go to Haw-" "Hana! As my best friend I need to tell you something and I need you to listen until I'm finished and try not to overreact."

"..I swear to god Siren, if you tell me that you and Hawks are broken up I'm going to be pissed."

'How does she know?' "..Okay, than I won't tell you-" "SERIOUSLY!…But, WHY?! He was so good-looking and sweet and nice and handsome-" "You said that twice." "Seriously, you guys where so good together," she was whining and it was cute because it was on Sirens behalf. As her friend Hana only wanted the best for Siren. So she could understand, how from the outside it would look like the best case scenario.

"I'm growing impatient," came the low husky voice of Dabi in her other ear as he leaned into her neck and bit her playfully causing Siren to bite her lip suppressing the moan that threatened to escape.

"Just because it looks perfect on the outside doesn't mean it actually is."

"Oh no..what was he terrible in bed?"

"Not terrible, but-uh," she accidentally let her voice slip.

"Oh my god! You're already with someone else, right now?! Tsk tsk Siren-"

"I'll call you back Hana-" "Wait, just tell me that it isn't that Dabi guy…didn't you see his message to the world? I knew that guy was bad news-" Siren hung up unable to listen to anything else negative about the man who was doing such positive things to her body.

Days passed and Siren was constantly on her phone trying to find a way to get to Los Angeles. At the same time she was trying to convince Dabi that he needed to go with her. Her own selfishness was taking over now that he was back. She just wanted it to be permanent this time.

"I'm not done," is all he would say and Siren already knew what he meant. 'Stupid unfinished business b.s.'

Standing on the roof of her mostly empty apartment building, the rain was pouring down, but she didn't let it bother her as she let herself be drenched in the downpour.

Siren thought of so many scenarios but ultimately she knew what would happen. Dabi was going to stay and fight, and end up either dead or in jail as a result, while she was onstage somewhere singing and dancing with a fake smile on her face not knowing what was going on with him.

She fought the tears that threatened to fall. The thought of losing yet another person she loved causing tears to sting her eyes, but she refused to let them fall this time. She wouldn't let herself cry just yet. Closing her eyes she took in a deep breath and tilted her head towards the sky. Relishing in the comfort of the cool drops on her overheated skin Siren didn't noticed that the door behind her had opened and closed.

Hands went to circle her waist but Siren was on high alert noticing that the person who was approaching her wasn't Dabi. She moved quickly out of reach and turned to see Hawks. Her eyes widened at the balls on the hero.

"The hell are you doing here?" She questioned him.

"I had to come check on you myself-" "No, you didn't."

"You're really gonna break up with me while I'm unconscious in the hospital?! Come on, that's just beyond cruel."

"..It was already over anyway," she mumbled.

"..That's besides the point…I know it's almost impossible to get out of the country right now. So I want to help you-" "I'm not leaving Dabi."

"You'd go this far for him?..Ruin your reputation and celebrity status for a villain who left you-"

"I'm not a hero Hawks…I'm just an overpaid entertainer, with a sketchy traumatic past…but if all I have to give up to be with him is money and fame, then that's a price I'm willing to pay."

"..You really, care about him that much?"

Siren looked directly into his eyes, "I love him Hawks."

"..Damn…That definitely hurts more than the letter-" "I never wanted to hurt you…"

They starred at each other and Hawks looked away first. Sighing heavily he slid his hands into his pockets. "Are you truly happy with this decision?"

"Yes." She gave him a stern look that said it all, she serious and nothing could change her mind.

"..Then I won't interfere…that is unless he gets in my way." With that he was gone and Siren let out a slow breath trying to calm herself after that conversation.

Since her things where already being moved overseas, Siren decided it best to move into a hotel the next prefecture over, putting a considerable amount of distance between herself and Musutafu.

Siren wanted to be with Dabi and he made it very clear that he felt the same but if she couldn't convince him to leave the country with her then she would have to do the unthinkable and force the scarred man, despite his decision.

Standing on the balcony with a lit cigarillo in her mouth she inhaled the smoke watching the stick in her hand slowly burn down as she sang new lyrics that wouldn't leave her mind.

"If you got it, it ain't no question

No, it ain't no room for guessing

No more, emotionally invested

Showing you all my imperfections

If I let you, you'll take me for granted, yeah

If I'm worth more than you can manage, manage yeah

Open with me, oh, we could be honest

Closer to me, oh, giving me solace

Promise that you won't let me fall."

"The hell are you doin' all the way out here?" The familiar low rumble of his voice shot through her like electricity. "You running away from me now?" He practically whispered into her ear as he stepped up from behind her.

"Of course not. I just couldn't stay somewhere that had no furniture, or at least decent wi-fi."

"You came this far for wi-fi?" He raised an eyebrow at her incredulously and Siren just rolled her eyes at his stupid joke.

"This is serious, you and your friends, have caused a lot of problems-" "You know their not my friends-" "That's besides the point Dabi."

"And what is the point Siren? You seem to know everything why don't you enlighten me."

"We need to get out of the country an-" "That's not an option for me. I plan to see this through to the end."

"..What about the repercussions? Hm? What about what happens after? This ends one of two ways, with you dead or in jail…I can't live with either of those outcomes."

"..Why do you think I didn't want you involved in the first place? I'm fine with whatever happens to me-" "And what about me?! I ca-I can't lose you…not like that…" She turned her face away from him letting her hair cover her eyes.

"..Fine then…You won't come with me then let me help you-" "Hell no." "I don't have to actually fight anyone, I can jus-" "No." "I'll be close by, just in cas-" "Siren!" "If you would fuckin' listen to me-" This time Dabi silenced her the only way he knew how. He crashed his lips into hers but she quickly pushed him away.

Her eyes where still closed as she took a moment to gather her thoughts. "I know what you're trying to do…but you really should hear me out-" He couldn't let her continue to make this her problem. His lips where back on hers but this time she didn't bother to push him away.

Dabi didn't agree with Siren but he knew he couldn't continue to fight her on the subject. The woman was extremely stubborn and wouldn't budge once she set her mind to something.

Darkness. Complete and utter blackness settled in his vision for what seemed an eternity. He couldn't remember much except for glimpses of a fight, and voices from conversations, but nothing made sense.

"You want me to heal all of these?"

"Yes. Can you do it?"

"It will cost more than my initial price…these are very old-" "I don't care about the cost. Just get it done."

"It'll take five days at the least."

"Fine…When you're done with him, there's one more thing I'll need you to do."

Finally he felt something. Pain.

His eyes opened slowly to a dimly lit room. He tried to move but his body felt like it was on fire; nothing he wasn't used to. But where the hell was he? And how long had he been unconscious?

Since he couldn't move he tried to take in his surroundings. The room was moderately decorated but he was having a hard time turning his head fully to see much else. The beeping of a heart monitor finally registered in his ears and for a moment he thought he was in a hospital.

That is until Siren threw open the double doors that he somehow missed to his right. Her eyes met his and widened slightly. But instead of saying anything she instead dialed a number on her phone and left the room at the sight of him awake. Dabi was confused but decided that since she was there he was, at least, not in enemy hands.

It wasn't long before she came back followed by an older man dressed in suit pants and a light blue button down shirt. Siren stayed by the door as the grey haired man stepped closer.

"How are you feeling?" He asked leaning in uncomfortably close to Dabis face.

"..Like I was hit by a truck," he answered, voice sounding more hoarse than normal.

"That's normal for what you've been through-" "Where am I?" Dabi cut the older man off, but he was ignored completely when she stepped closer.

"How is he?"

"He should be fine, might have a bit of shock at first but he should be ready to get up and move around in no time."

"Good…Expect the money in your account by tomorrow." "Thank yo-" "And if you so much as mention anything to the press or anybody I will personally see to it that you never work with your hands again."

"U-Understood." The man was gone with that one word response, leaving just Siren and Dabi alone.

"What's going on? Where are we?" Dabi wanted answers.

"..I'll explain everything…While you where fighting I used my quirk to make it look like you lost the fight and died as a result-" "You did what?!" "Calm down and let me finish. You actually fell unconscious before completing your last move so it worked in my favor..I drugged you to stay asleep, brought you here to Mexico to see one of the best healers in the business-" "Tha fuck Sir-" "I brought you to this particular healer because their quirk specializes in healing older scars…" She placed a hand mirror on his lap, the reflective side down as she sat on the edge of the bed.

Looking down he couldn't help but to grab it and turn it over quickly, like ripping off a bandaid.

It was like looking into the past. All of his scars where gone revealing nothing but smooth unmarked skin that he hadn't seen in over ten years. "..What the fuck did you do?"

"I did this so that we can hide in plain site."

"So this is what you meant by helping me?! You should've let me continue fighting instead of interfering!" He couldn't help but feel angry.

"I'm glad I did what I did and I will always be happy about my decision, you know why?!..Because you're alive!" She turned her head away from him as she continued. "It was an extremely selfish thing to do, I know that. But at the same time I saw you…You where sad…sad at having to kill your family to prove a point…I know what that feels like-" "How long has it been? Tell me they aren't still alive."

"..It's been two weeks, and yes both Endeavor and your little brother Shoto are still alive-"

"..Do you expect me to be happy about any of this-" "You don't have a choice anymore Touya. It's either this or you go back to Japan and deal with that shit all by yourself…The League, The Army and Shigiraki where all defeated."

"…?" The question on his face was obvious.

"..The heroes are slowly trying to rebuild. Obviously things aren't going right back to how they where but, the city is being fixed up…The war is over, you guys lost."

"…" he couldn't find the words to describe how pathetic he truly felt, so he didn't say anything.

"..I don't want to rush you, and I understand if you are angry with me for going against your wishes…What I'm trying to say is..you probably need your space right now." She stood and walked towards to the doors she entered through.

"This is your room, I took a spare key so I could check on you only while you where unconscious and being worked on." She produced a single card key and sat it on the dresser closeest to her.

"I'm in room twenty-four seventeen, if you decide to forgive me…We have to be out of here in three days. If I don't see you before then…well…I'll leave you alone. For good." With that she left closing the doors behind her.

Dabi sat in the still silence before he snapped and threw the hand mirror listening to it crash and shatter as it hit the opposite wall.

'The fuck am I supposed to do now?'
