Tron slowly deepened the kiss as they sat together on the padio. He let her pull him closer and his arms wrapped around her.

"Dinner is-" Quorra stopped short when she found them. "Oh, sorry. Didn't mean to interrupt. Come in whenever you're ready."

Sam blushed with a smile after Quorra stepped away. "Shall we?"

"If you want." Tron hugged her.

"Maybe just a little longer."

"I was hoping you would say that."

Kevin looked up when they entered while he and Quorra were eating. "Something wrong, Sammy?"

"The opposite, actually. Tron and I are...together."

"About time. You've had a crush on him since I started telling you stories about the Grid years ago."

"We needed to get to know each other first."

"As usual, you fight for the Users."

"Only two have ever fought for and with me and I certainly wasn't romantically interested in you, Kevin."

Flynn laughed. "Right back at you, Tron."

Sam rolled her eyes with a smile. "So Quorra, how long have you and my dad been a couple?"

"Five cycles."

"That gonna be a problem, kiddo?"

"No. Mom moved on ages ago."

Kevin snorted softly. "Had a feeling she might. Always was the fleeting type."

"Yeah, even from me."

"Sorry about that, I didn't make a lot of good choices when I was younger. Nice to see you turned out better."

"Nana and Papa had a lot to do with that."

Kevin smiled and nodded. "They still around?"

"No, sorry. I buried them both four cycles ago."

He sighed. "Amazing my parents lived as long as they did with their health issues."

"Yeah, sorry you missed it."

"Not your fault I got stuck down here. How's the food?"

"Pretty good." She smiled as Tron slid around her. "Do you have a faster, stealthy way to get back to the Grid than on foot?"

"As a matter of fact, I do." Kevin grinned and led them to his garage. There were four upgraded lightcycles with off road tires and fully enclosed driver's seats that looked like it could blend in anywhere. "Say hello to what I call the ninjacycle. These were going to be for undercover officers on the Grid, but only had time to build them out here. What do you say to taking them?"

"Like you have to ask."

They each climbed in one and started the drive back to the Grid.

"I built in radios with scrambling capabilities, so we can communicate securely."

"Way to think ahead, Dad."

"I try, kiddo. These ninjacycles build up their own charge as you drive them, so getting back will be a lot easier than coming out here."

"At this pace we should reach the Grid in two days."

"That's right, Tron. These babies are speed machines."

After hours of driving and snacking on rations, they stopped to sleep when it was dark and then set off again at dawn. At nightfall, they arrived in the Grid and slipped into Able's secret basement.

"Man am I glad to see you two again. Is that Kevin and Quorra?"

"It is indeed, Able."

"Been too long."

Kevin grinned as they shook hands. "You're telling me. It's good to see you, man."

"Likewise. Still running underground for the rebellion, I see."

"I help where I can."

"We need a big enough demonstration Clu's attention will be far away from the portal."

Able hmmmed. "A daunting task, but I think we have the manpower. Clu has really not been gaining much in the way of support lately with his ridiculous demands. I will rally them acting as Tron while you guys cross the sea."

"Are you sure, Able?"

"My time has come and gone, Sammy. I fight for a free Grid like Tron and don't have anything to lose. With any luck, you'll see me again."

"I hope so, Sammy and I would miss you."

"You two finally get together, huh? I will have to stick around then." Able suited up. "Good luck."

"Same to you."

Able rode off on the iconic lightcycle associated with Tron and they slipped onto a transport across the cybernetic sea. From their vantage point, they could see Clu's vehicles being destroyed by single flyers and tanks, while the foot soldiers clashed with what looked like the rest of the Grid.

"This is really messing with my zen." Kevin sighed. "I figured out too late what perfection was."

"Let's focus on fixing it instead of dwelling on the past."

"I got real lucky having you as my kid, Sammy."

"You're a great dad, but I may be biased since we're related."

Kevin laughed as the transport stopped. "Indeed. Here we are. Everyone gather close on the platform." He drew his disk once they complied and activated it.

A familiar, giant beam of light filled the sky and they were all sucked up into it. They emerged on the other side in Kevin's secret office and he shut the laser down. They watched him sit at the computer and type in commands that removed Clu's programming permanently and aided the other programs to bring the soldiers and supporters of Clu to their knees to be restored to their old selves before Clu's corrupting influence.

The Grid began to change for the better after that. Able reopened his garage and was finally able to work on vehicles of peace, Kevin finally launched the off road competitions he had longed to do for years, and Tron found a promising program by the name of Beck whom he trained to be the next Tron so he could retire and be with Sammy.

Kevin brought the digital and real world together with Quorra at his side, proudly watching Sammy marry Tron and they showed everyone there was no difference between programs and people by starting a family. Kevin and Sammy got rid of the board of directors for his company and gave Alan his electronic security department back, making both the digital and physical realm safer places to live.

Was everything perfect? No. Were there still problems? Of course. They faced challenges and adventures together, no longer defined as just Users and programs in the discovery of a new frontier.

The end.
