Start Note: I know I originally made the story as 6 planned chapters, but this final one actually got to be extremely long compared to the rest so I decided to split it. Hope you enjoy.

The morning sun shines through the window of the royal bedroom. The sleeping brunette yawns; she slowly rises with her hair messy and frizzy. She grumbles, "This is way too early for my tastes." There's a knock on her door; she groans loudly.

"Princess," Toadbias's voice calls to her, "If we're going to get the party going on time, we have to start prepping now." The Toad assistant couldn't see anything from his side of the door, but he definitely could hear an ample amounts of thuds and movement shifting about.

Daisy appeared in a casual shirt and pants, "What are we waiting for? Let's go!"

The rest of the morning and afternoon was spent on Daisy and her castle staff organizing for the evening. "Where are the cases of the Violet Vintage cola?" Two Tokotoko's would be seen, carrying large crates of the beverage. "Alright, set it down near the appetizer table please! The literal soda fountain is gonna need a lot of it." The princess gets a tap on her shoulder, making her jump slightly, "Ack!" She turns to see a giggling Rosalina.

"Didn't mean to make you jump~" she teases, "But I was wondering if I could lend a hand."

Daisy breathes a sigh of relief and shakes her head, "Rosa, I couldn't ask that of ya. You're a guest here! I've got this covered." A loud crash echoes through the halls as one of the Goombo helpers topples into the table; knocking over the dishes. "Mostly. I mostly got this."

The space princess chuckles and shakes her head lightly, "Daisy, I know most of your guests are already here, but I can tell this means a lot to you. And we're willing to help."

"Awh Rosa, thank ya. I-wait a minute? We?" Daisy tilts her head slightly. Rosalina gently grabs Daisy shoulder and points towards the left doorway. Toad and Toadette would come in, a large tray of spare silverware and dishes being tugged along. Donkey and Diddy Kong come in carrying barrels full of fruit from the Kongo Island. Yoshi and Birdo next step in; hauling a cart of various mushrooms, flowers, and other ingredients.

Daisy's stunned; she slowly turns her head towards Rosalina, "H-how…"

Rosalina chuckles, "Well I may have been planning this with the others just in case~ You never know~" Daisy hugs Rosalina tightly, making the cosmic guardian blush.

"You're the best Rosa! I mean it," she beams. She lets go and shifts her attention to everyone else. The guests of these past few days were in high spirits.

"Yoshi! Yoshi!" (Ready to help, Captain!) Yoshi yelps excitedly.

"Sweet! Then we're going to make this a really rocking party! Let's go team!" she cheers back to the rest of them. With a final hoorah, they begin to divide the duties among themselves.

"Well if you need me, I'll bet in the kitchen." Rosalina gives a small curtsey and starts to walk away.

"Kitchen? Ya sure? I could use some help overseeing things."

"You have Toadbias to help with that," she grins, "Besides, culinary arts are a bit of a favorite pastime. You don't feed hungry star children without learning a few things~"

"Fair~" she laughs before looking for her Toad assistant. She sees him instructing some of the staff on how to decorate for the rest of the day. "Looks like we've got everything covered~"

Meanwhile, at the humble home of the Mario Brothers, quiet singing could be heard. The shower was running; hot steam filled the room. Mario wrapped a towel around his body as he blow dried his hair. He steps out of the vapor filled room, whistling lightly. He's greeted by a beaming Luigi. "Excited for-a later tonight, bro?"

"O-oh, yea!" the taller brother stammers, "But it's-a… also because you were singing."

Mario's already flushed face turns slightly redder. "You always say I'm-a off key!"

"You still are," Luigi laughs, "But, it's the first time since you've-a sung since you've been back. I'll take off key versus nothing at all."

"Aww….Weeg, mio fratello…" Mario wraps Luigi into a hug.

"Mario! Fermare! Mi stai facendo bagnare!" (Stop! You're Getting me soaked!) Luigi yells while pulling away.

The older twin lets go and sneers, "You're gonna get-a change anyway!"

"I know, I know. Mama mia Mario, you're-a really eager to go~"

"Well, let's just-a say, I've-a got a surprise in mind," Mario smiles, looking at a small orange and yellow wrapped present in his room.

Sarasaland Castle was decorated beautifully for the evening. The warm sunset hued building was lit up by multiple colored star lights. The reflection of the colors off the lake beside made it shine like a rainbow oasis. Many of the locals of the kingdom were arriving and starting to enjoy the festivities. The main floor hosted the live band, snacks, and the drink bar. The dining area while not having anyone in it currently, was ready for its guests; The tables dawned tablecloths with the royal flower embroidery on them. Board games, video game consoles, and even a few small rounds of Mario Party were set up in the recreation room. Guests were also free to use the castle's practice tennis courts, test driving track and golf course.

Daisy takes a deep breath, looking over herself in the mirror, "I think I'm trying too hard." She wore a slightly modified version of her Smash Bros. outfit; It wasn't quite as long but retained the white midsection and the more ornate patterns on the frills.

"Well I think you look just fine~" Rosalina calls from behind her. The hostess of the party helps and twirls to greet her. Her eyes widen upon seeing Rosalina's dress. A purple top blended and transitioned into a spectrum of different shades of blue. Twin frills on her dress started at the top and gradually got longer, resembling an aurora.

"And look at you! That's an awesome dress!"

Rosalina smiles warmly, "Thank you. I thought it'd match how we decorated the castle tonight."

"Oh totally~ Luigi's gonna love it!" This makes the space princess blush and go quiet for a few moments.

"And I think Mario's going to adore your dress." Daisy's mind immediately freezes and she gives a nervous chuckle.

"H-heh, guess we're both…hoping for something tonight, right?"

Rosalina shakes her head while laughing softly, "I suppose so. But I think luck's on both our sides tonight. Now, we better get going. A party shouldn't leave out its hostess." She offers an arm to Daisy.

The flower princess happily accepts it, "Thanks Rosa, for having my back." The two then make their way out of the upper halls and into the party proper.

Everyone was having a wonderful time. The various foods prepped by the staff and honored guests were delicious, with a mix of traditional Sarasaland dishes and some more well-known Mushroom Kingdom foods. The rec room was bustling with each group getting competitive at their respective activities. And a few others took advantage of the sports available, doing more casual rounds. "Wow," whistles Mario as he enters the castle, "Haven't-a seen this place so lively before!" The Mario Brothers were greeted with enthusiasm from the rest of the guests; they especially complimented their attire.

Mario wore the black tuxedo and top hat outfit he picked up in Bonneton. He shyly adjusted his red bowtie, not usually used to formal wear. Luigi was wearing a slightly different version of his Casino wear. He adjusted the vest to be a little longer, but he retained the green bow-tie, slacks, and kept his signature green cap. The two princesses wondered what all the commotion was about on the main floor; both pairs then caught their gazes at each other. "Yo Mario!" Daisy yelled happily, running towards him.

"Principessa!" he yelled back, "You look wonderful!"

She blushes and beams, "Well you look pretty snazzy yourself!" The two continued to compliment each other as Luigi and Rosalina averted their eyes.

"Y-you…look…l-lovely…." Luigi stammers out, rubbing his arm.

Rosalina nervously fixes her hair, "…And you're quite dashing as well." The two shyly smile at each other. Luigi is about to speak again when they're interrupted by Toadbias making an announcement.

"The main dinner course is now getting served! You don't have to eat now, but it's piping hot and fresh!" he speaks towards the crowd. The guests all cheer and begin to head towards the dining area.

Mario looks at Daisy, "Save you a seat next to me and Weegee?"

"Totally, see ya inside in a few!" With her confirmation, Mario grabs his brother and the duo heads towards their table. "Ready to go Rosa?~" she teases. Suddenly the princess feels a poke at her shoulder.

"Actually, could I borrow you two for a few minutes, before we head to dine?" a soft spoken voice interjects. Daisy's eyes widen as she turns around. There stood the person she was expecting to see the least tonight.

She flashes a smile and nods, "Of course, Peach."

End Note: i know that's one heck of a cliff-hanger to pause it on, but it's the best break point. Chapter 7, the final is already finished, I'm just editing it so it'll be up soon. Thank you for reading.
