Hey, I'm back. Had some stuff happen, but I'm back again. New chapter for Kyuubi's King is coming soon. Let's get into it.
The Dragon Clan
Chapter 7
The Funeral
Rain. It was everywhere. Indra's funeral was happening. Dracorrin stood next to Asura, who was standing next to Haguramu. In Asura's hands was a small child. Dracorrin was explained that the child was Indoku, Indra's newborn son. Yes Indra was young, but Dracorrin was planning to settle down with someone after the war. Haguramu was old. Very old. He is around 120 years old, but not even Asura knew his age for sure. His entire face was sagged. His once brown hair is pure white with little strands of gray. He had a little goatee, similar to Hagoromo's. He didn't have horns, those had been genetically filtered out of this Earth Otsutsuki bloodline. Haguramu never spoke, only sitting there with sadness displayed on his face. Asura was clearly crying as he saw Indra's coffin being buried. Dracorrin shed one tear, for Indra.
"Even Kami weeps for my brother," Asura managed to choke out between sobs.
"She does," Dracorrin replied back.
"Dracouzo?" Haguramu managed to whisper out, his face looked concentrated on Dracorrin.
"No, Haguramu, sir. I am Dracorrin, son of Drakoro."
"Yin pearl, Dracouzo." Haguramu lifted a bony finger at a necklace on Dracorrin's neck.
"Yes. My grandfather created it with you."
"Where son?" Haguramu whispered out again. He was hard to hear over the rain.
"I don't have a son, Lord Haguramu."
"Yes. Dra, Dra, Drak...Drakoro." Haguramu stuttered out, finally remembering.
"Drakoro is my father, sir."
"Where Drakoro?"
"My father is on Dragon Island, with Kagegakure."
"Drakoro have son?"
"Yes."
"Wh-where?" Haguramu wheezed. It was clear this man was maybe a few years from death. Not that Dracorrin would say that out loud.
"Right here. I am Drakoro's son."
"No. Stop, Dracouzo. Where Drakoro son?"
"For the last time, old man, I'm not Dracouzo!" Dracorrin whisper yelled.
"Oh. Where Dracouzo?"
"My grandfather has passed."
"..." Haguramu went silent. Dracorrin saw he was breathing.
"Father has some trouble with his memory." Asura told him, calmly. "He sees ghosts from his past. He doesn't remember me and can't stay awake longer than an hour. Ten minutes at most if he's talking. I don't blame him. We were his last two children alive. Now it's just me..." Asura was choking up on tears again.
"Lord Haguramu is around 120, right?"
"Y-yeah. He was around 80 when he had me, and 81 with Indra. His first kid died in some big war when Father was young. His second kid had deformities and died cause of them. His third kid had no chakra and was killed in a science accident. His fourth kid was born around the same time as Lord Drakoro. Apparently some major war happened when they were young, and that kid got caught in the crossfire. His fifth, sixth, and seventh were triplets who didn't make it out of the womb alive. His eighth kid was my older brother by about ten years. He died right before I was born due to some health complication. I was the ninth, and Indra was the tenth and last. And, well, you know what happened to him."
Dracorrin would never forget the scene of Indra's death.
"Yeah. Must've been hard on your dad after losing nine kids."
"Yeah..."

After the funeral and the reception, an Anbu with a swirled mask arrived at the Otsukage Mansion.
"Uchi? Why are you here?" Uchi came in with a storage scroll in hand.
"Asura-sama, Dracorrin-sama, we searched Indra's death scene as well as his corpse and found several things. One, as per your telling of his last words, his left eye was successfully removed. Something interesting also happened." Uchi unsealed a jar with some weird liquid in it. Floating in the liquid was Indra's severed eye. But it wasn't black. It was a tomoed rinnegan.
"As you can see, his left eye is a tomoed rinnegan. From training records, it is apparent these tomoe are floodgates of power. They can be stockpiled. The rinnegan itself also seems to be coherently able to be activated at will. Another thing noted is that he already had a Mangekyou. The problem is, without another mangekyou eye implanted first with close enough DNA, the eye will go blind from repetitive use of both the Mangekyou and Rinnegan."
"I may have a workaround." Dracorrin stated.
"How?" Asura asked.
"My father created a kinjutsu for the Jougan. It allows the user to turn the Jougan into any other dojutsu for a period of time. The more powerful the dojutsu, the less time. For instance, a clone Byakugan can be activated for over a day with proper reserves. One Tomoe Sharingan, even longer. But the Rinnegan can only stayed activated for a few hours with perfect control. I guess you could turn a Jougan into a Jougan, but that wouldn't make sense. My point is, I can create a Mangekyou Sharingan. Remove the eye, then inject it with Indra's DNA. Fake relative Mangekou for his other eye. We can do it as many times as we want."
"Hate to break it to you Dracorrin, but you only have two eyes." Uchi said.
"Not with another Dragonis kinjutsu. Unfortunately, this one takes a lot more chakra. Even my grandfather could only use it around ten times."
"There are other personal items, along with Indra's will and this note adressed to both Dracorrin and you, Asura-sama."
"Alright then, Uchi, is that it?" Asura asked him.
"Yes, my lord. If I am no longer needed?"
"No."
"Then I will take my leave."
"Alright Dracorrin, let's open up this scroll."
Dracorrin was about to break the wax seal on the front, until he noticed something.
"Asura, let's wait a second. Haha... even in death he's hilarious."
Dracorrin's Jougan were on, and he had closely inspected the wax seal.
"What? I don't see anything."
"Look with the Raven Eye, Asura." Dracorrin told him.
"Alright." Asura did a quick summoning jutsu, before putting his hands over his eyes.
"Summoning: Raven Eyes!" His eyes were replaced with those of ravens.
"Oh, I see. He put seals in a seal. Ha!" The eyes returned back to normal.
"Let me really see what the seals do."
Another cliffhanger, I know. I had this one in the works for a while, but I did put it out after some consideration. In Dragzusho and Drakusho's Arc, which I'm calling the Dragonis Twins Arc, we will get insight on Drakoro and Dracouzo. I hope you enjoyed.
