I'm so sorry for the really long wait but school was being a real bitch lately plus my laptop screen cracked so it took a week to fix but because they ordered a faulty screen I had to wait another week
Chapter 18: New Year New Beginning
New Year's Eve was approaching, and Geoff and a bunch of other people was busy setting up a party at a warehouse.
Geoff: okay balloons I want between every end of the banners, uhm someone get set up the coloured lights and Bridgette where we at with the band
Bridgette: Trent, Justin, Cody and Harold will be soon but require 20 minutes to rehearse
Geoff: ok we can make that happen, uhm last of all Duncan do you have a power source for all this
Duncan: relax it's right here
Duncan shows Geoff a green car with two cables connecting throughout everything, also the wheels were replaced with bricks.
Duncan: see we siphon of electricity from the battery plus without the wheels we can turn it on and get high on fumes
Geoff: genius but where did you find this
Duncan: eh it was just lying around
Meanwhile at Chef's house.
Chef: damn tax returns…WHERE'S MY CAR!
Soon it became late at night and so many teens came to party, while waiting in a line outside Frank was standing at the door acting as a bouncer, soon enough nearly everyone was inside and then Ezekiel came last.
Frank: sorry no more room
Ezekiel: oh, come on we're in homeroom together
Frank: look I don't make the rules I enforce them, and only 400 people can come in you're 401
Ezekiel: NOOOOOO!
Meanwhile inside everyone was having the blast Justin, Trent, Harold and Cody were up on-stage playing music for everyone in which a Sierra and a couple of girls started to go crazy and even jump on the stage and grab them.
Girl: TRENT BE MINE!
GIRL 2: JUSTIN I'M COMING!
Sierra: I WANT MY CODY
At that moment the guys though it be best to get the heck out of there.
Trent: guys I think we should bail
Harold: agreed
Near the food Owen had a funnel put in his mouth and was lying on the floor while Izzy kept stuffing food down it while a crowd of people starting chanting "CHUG CHUG CHUG".
Owen: no more I don't I can eat anymore (said in pain)
Izzy: would it help if I blended it
Owen: okay that works too
Izzy gets a blender and stuffs a bunch of pizza in it and blends it up. Then Owen takes the blender jug and drinks it down his gullet while everyone carried on chanting "CHUG CHUG CHUG".
As usual Heather was being bossy and bitchy to Lindsay and Beth.
Heather: I WANTED DILL PICKLE NOT BARBEQUE, GO EXCHANGE AND THIS TIME DON'T SCREW IT UP!
As Lindsay and Beth went to go get Heather's chips they got to talking.
Beth: why do we put up with her
Lindsay: I know I've hardly gotten the enjoy the party
Beth: we need to do something about her
Lindsay: well, these were for my sister Paula but maybe
Lindsay pulls out a bottle of laxative pills, so they pour them into the chips and head to Heather.
Heather: what took you two so long, give me those
Heather viciously snatches the chips off them and after eating a handful of them her stomach feels queasy and then she runs for her dear life to the bathroom.
The party had a pool table where people were betting and waging against each other and so far, Noah was winning and taking everyone's cash and bets.
Noah: you amateurs should know never to bet against the master (Tyler shows up)
Tyler: what's going on
Noah: what's going on is I'm home a millionaire
Tyler: hey mind I have a go
Noah: Tyler this game requires math and geometry, not something a jock is well suited for, but all means
Tyler gets all the balls ready and aims the pool que into position and then strikes the que ball, once it hits the others, they all start rolling into the slots and not one que ball was left on the felt. Everyone starts cheering for Tyler and takes Noah's winnings and gives them to Tyler while everyone picks him in cheer, while Noah was left there with a shocked look on his face.
At the bar Gwen was sitting by herself drinking root beer however Trent sat next to her wearing sunglasses and a baseball.
Gwen: Trent is that you?
Trent: shhhh don't say my name
Gwen: oh, are you're fans after you
Trent: afraid so I mean they already got a piece of Harold's hair; Cody's pants and I think Justin is cowering in the bathroom
Gwen: well, relax guitar boy I won't reveal you
Trent: thanks, hey how was your Christmas
Gwen: pretty average but someone mailed me a present and inside was my favourite horror flick
Trent: oh, who sent it (said smiling)
Gwen: don't know (smiled back)
Meanwhile Courtney was standing on the warehouse's viewing deck leaning against the railing drinking punch looking depressed, but then Leshawna noticed her depression and went over to talk to her.
Leshawna: girl this is a party for the new year what's got you so bummed
Courtney: remember the winter dance
Leshawna: yeah, that was a great night say didn't you dance with Justin
Courtney: yeah, but it's not what you think
Leshawna: what do you mean
Courtney: he danced with me because Heather paid him too and then at the end of the party, he told me I meant nothing to him
Leshawna: girl relax those two aren't getting out of this but your hate me or won't believe but that night I saw Duncan walking over towards you as if he wanted to…you know…dance with you
Courtney paused for a second and at that moment she realised she liked Duncan, then a feeling just coursed through her body.
Courtney: I have to go talk to you later
Leshawna: go get them tiger
As Courtney walked over to Duncan filled with hope, pride and determination she noticed he was talking to DJ.
DJ: so, you do like Courtney
Duncan: please don't make it a big deal
DJ: but it is you guys will make the perfect couple…
Duncan: I'm going to stop you there; look I saw her choose Justin
DJ: oh, I'm sorry look but don't loose hope maybe there's someone…
Duncan: D look I don't want to date anyone for a while now, I think it be for the best I focus on being the best me I can
Duncan left after that little the party after that little conversation, though Courtney heard every bit which left her distort all over again.
Duncan walked outside to find Frank still not letting Ezekiel in.
Frank: hey where you're going
Duncan: I just really need to go home oh and by the way they're about to start the countdown (Duncan leaves)
Ezekiel: see he's leaving meaning there's space for me now
Frank: actually, there's space for me
Frank walks into the party and shuts the door on Ezekiel.
Ezekiel: NOOOOOO!
When Frank got inside, he was confronted by an angry Chloe.
Chloe: where the hell were you
Frank: sorry I got held up in my bouncer duties, but hey let's just enjoy the rest of the night (they make out)
Soon enough the countdown started for the New Year.
Everyone: 10…9…8…7…6…5…4…3…2…1 HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Confetti and balloons dropped down while everyone was cheering, and Gwen grabbed Trent and pulled him into a long kiss of which he embraced with pride. While everyone else was celebrating Duncan walked home and gave a huge sigh while Back at the party Courtney also gave a huge sigh.
