Nora diverted her eyes down, drawing in a breath, "The child is said to have a unique birthmark, but the shape and location of said birthmark is unknown."

"What are you saying, Nora?" Charlie asked

Hallelujah just stared between her mother and Nora, curiously, wondering what Nora would say next. She knew that they were talking about her and she wanted to know what it was about.

"I don't know. Nothing is really known. I mean, birthmarks are quite common. And who's to say that this supposed marked child is even born yet." Nora stated

Feeling bored and confused by the conversation Hallelujah stood up, leaving the room. Because of her gifts, she understands more than other kids her age, but she was still just seven years old and there was still a lot that she didn't understand yet. And the conversation that Nora was having with Charlie was one of the things she didn't understand yet.

Venturing out into the hall, Hallelujah bumped into her brother Zion. He constantly made it a point that he was older even though it was only by one month.

"Z." She uttered in a grumbled tone. 'Z' was what she called him.

"H." He countered. They just referred to each other by the first initial of their name.

Zion and Hallelujah may be the same age, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're best friends. Zion is jealous of his younger sister because she has powers and he doesn't. Zion scoffed as he brushed passed Hallelujah, going the opposite direction as her.

Hallelujah scrunched her nose as she wiped her arm where Zion has brushed against her. She found herself heading to the bedroom of the now 18 year old Melissa Morrison. Melissa is married to Hallelujah's oldest brother Cyrus. They have a 1 year old baby girl named Valkyrie Selah Koresh.

Arriving at Melissa's room, Hallelujah poked her head into the door, "Is Val awake?"

"Yeah. You can come in, Halle."

Hallelujah smiled as she hopped into the room, taking Valkyrie from Melissa's arms and setting the one year old on the floor mat so they could play. Hallelujah just loves her little niece.

Meanwhile downstairs with Mayanah, she was working on her first official novel that she was in the process of publishing. Mayanah's book was sort of about Brigid's diary. It was about a twelve year old who finds an empty book that turns out to be magic and only the truth can be written in it. If an untruth or mistake is, the book will change the past, present, and/or future to make it true. This young girl ends up writing something that changes the past and makes it so her parents don't exist. But instead of disappearing, she wakes up in a different house with different parents and a different name. The same thing happens with her two younger siblings. She either has to find a way to correct her mistake, or accept this new reality as her life.

The name of the book is 'Careful What You Write'. Mick had helped Mayanah with the editing of it. It's impressive what she has accomplished given that she's still just 14 years old. She'll be turning 15 in about a month though. Judy and David are so proud of their daughter, and Steve may not be Mayanah's father, but he was proud of her too.

Suddenly there was a knock on the front door. Being the closest, Mayanah stood up from her laptop and walked over to the door, opening it. Standing before her, she saw none other than Mari McCabe. She had remained a friend to the people of Mount Carmel over the last seven years.

"Mari, what are you doing here?"

"Well, I wish I was here with for a social visit." Mari said as she hugged Mayanah before stepping inside, "But I'm afraid I don't have good news."

Mayanah furrowed her eyebrows as she closed the door with Mari now inside, "What is it?"

"I would much rather talk about this with your dad or Rachel."

Mayanah crossed her arms, "I'm almost fifteen, Mari. I can handle it."

Mari shook her head, "No, I'm sorry, Mayanah. It's best that you get your father or Rachel."

"Fine." Mayanah uttered with a huff, "I'll be right back." She hated how some adults treated her like she was still a little kid. Her parents didn't treat her like a kid, and she appreciated that because she wasn't a little kid anymore.

Mari stood in the foyer waiting for Mayanah to return with David or Rachel. Mayanah didn't return, but a few minutes after she left Mari saw the now 55 year old Steve Schneider approaching.

"Hey Mari, what's up?"

"Where's David?" She countered

"He's busy."

Mari nodded, "Fine. My sister and I were out last night. The person that we were after, when we caught him he kept mumbling and going on about something. I didn't understand it until he mentioned something. A name that led me back here."

"What was the name?"

"Well first he said, it is coming. That's what I didn't understand." Mari explained, "But then he said the twenty-fourth is the key."

Steve looked confused, "What's coming? The key to what?"

Mari shrugged, "I don't know, but I thought David would like to know since it obviously concerns Hallelujah."

"Yeah. Thanks Mari."

"Of course. Take care, Steve." She hugged him

Steven hugged Mari back, "May God bless you, Mari."
