Hallelujah started reading when she was just three years old. One day when she was just five, David walked into the Chapel to set up for his sermon and he found Hallelujah sitting up on the stage, reading his Bible.

The Bible was opened to Proverbs 9.

David sat down beside his daughter, "Need any help understanding that?"

Hallelujah looked up after finishing reading verse 18. She just shook her head, "No. I understand."

"You do?!" David asked, shocked

Hallelujah nodded, "Yeah. The Way of Wisdom, if you live your life following the Way of God, you'll live forever in Heaven. But The Way of Folly, living foolishly leads you to death. To Hell."

David smiled, nodding his head, "Yeah. That's...that's good. You're very smart, baby."

"I know, Daddy." Hallelujah told her father.

Hallelujah had a divine understanding of the Bible. Much like her father. She really was a blessing, a child of God.

- Present Day -

It had been a couple days since Steven had gotten the message from Mari and relayed it to David, who had yet to figure out what 'it' is. Charlie had suggested that maybe it had something to do with the prophecy the angel had told to her daughter, suggesting that 'it' is the moment that legend becomes history. If that was the case, then era of sorrow and the rise of education that the marked child shall bring forth will happen sooner than Charlie had thought. She had assumed that it would be years from now, especially if Hallelujah is the marked child. She just turned seven. She wasn't ready to have her own destiny, a destiny that she would have to complete on her own.

The prophecy itself was confusing. The thing about an era of sorrow and the rise of education. What did that even mean? Education about what? If Hallelujah really was the marked child, perhaps it meant education about the seven seals. Maybe it meant that the truth would come out. But at what costs? An era of sorrow. Sorrow is sadness. Did it mean that people would die? And if so, how many? And who?

Charlie knew that all would be revealed in due time. She just had to have faith. Faith that God wouldn't give her daughter more than she was able to handle, because she already knew that God never puts any of His people where His hands cannot touch them.

Meanwhile upstairs with 13 year old Bobbie Koresh, she was in her room with 13 year olds Chanel Andrade and Pages Gent. They were talking about the latest book that their 'Uncle Mick' had just released when suddenly Hallelujah came strolling into the room.

Chanel turned her head to look at her little sister, "Lu, is everything alright?"

'Lu' is what Chanel calls Hallelujah, and she's the only one that calls her by that nickname.

Hallelujah shook her head, "I'm scared."

"What about?" Chanel wondered

Hallelujah moved over to Bobbie, cuddling closer to her. The seven year old had come from downstairs. She knew about the message from Mari and what her mother thought about it, and it scared her. It wasn't often that Hallelujah got scared, because she wasn't scared of many things. She had never been afraid of the dark like most kids, but the prophecy and her destiny - it truly scared her. Especially if she had to do it alone.

Bobbie wrapped her arms around Hallelujah, "Halle, talk to us. What are you scared about?"

"My destiny. I have to do it alone. And it's coming." She explained, "Soon. And I'm scared."

"You're never alone. God is always with you." Bobbie assured the seven year old

Hallelujah gave a solemn nod, "I know, but someone has to die."

"Who's gonna die, Hal?" Pages questioned

Hallelujah shrugged, "I don't know, but the prophecy says a marked child will bring forth an era of sorrow and a rise of education."

Bobbie, Chanel and Pages all shared a look with each other before turning their attention back to their baby sister. Bobbie kissed the top of Hallelujah's head, while Chanel and Pages moved over to hug Hallelujah.

On Earth-5

He knew that it was time to find out the truth about why his mom had sent him and his sister away all those years ago. He needed to know the truth. He couldn't go on living his life in the dark. He needed answers.

"Mom, nineteen and a half years ago you handed me my baby sister and told me to run. You told me to go into hiding and protect her, but you never told me what I was protecting her from."

"I can't." The mom replied, not making eye contact with her son.

He sighed, "What are you hiding, Mom? Who or what is my sister?"

He always suspected that his sister was different, and as she grew up, it was confirmed. He knew she was different, but he didn't know exactly how or why.

"She was in danger." The mom said, glancing up to meet her son's eyes, "They wanted to kill her."

"Who did?" He wondered

The mom shook her head, diverting her eyes back down, "I've said too much already. You must never bring it up again."

"But Mom…." He started to argue

"Promise me that you will never talk about this again." Her tone was serious and she had made eye contact again.

He gave a reluctant nod, "I promise, Mom, but I don't understand. She grew up without you. I was sixteen trying to raise a baby. I don't know how I did it, but she's amazing, Mom. She got accepted into Harvard at fifteen. She's studying to be a lawyer. And guess what? She calls Me…" He pointed at himself, "Dad, because that's who I am to her. I'm her dad. I had to be."

"I'm so happy for you two." His mom told him, "I love you and I love your sister very, very much. You are my world, and she was heaven in my arms. But I knew that I had to let her go in order to protect her."

'Protect her from what?' He thought, but he knew that he'd never find out. Not when his mother wasn't willing to talk about it. 'What is this secret that she is guarding so closely? And who wanted to kill my baby?'

Hope you enjoy. Comments are greatly appreciated. In fact, they keep me going.

Who do you think 'he' is? Who's his mom and how is his sister different?

What would you like to see happen next?
