Diamond888: Rachel and Michele are sisters.
When Caitlin arrived at Mount Carmel and saw the crowd of people outside, she was impressed. The now 53 year old Lorraine Sylvia had told Caitlin that people were coming from all over the world to hear David's teachings. However, it was one thing to hear it. It was an entirely different thing seeing it for yourself.
Outside, at the end of the driveway, Caitlin was greeted with a hug by the now 54 year old Judy Schneider.
Caitlin hugged Judy back, "I'm so sorry for your loss."
"Thank you. That means a lot, but it's not necessary. We still have faith in God, and we know where Halle is."
"Okay. So where's Charlie? How is she doing?"
Judy frowned, "She's inside. She's still really sad and fragile."
Caitlin nodded, "I'm gonna go see her."
When Caitlin went inside to give her condolences to Charlie, she saw Charlie singing and dancing to worship music with Aisha, the now 25 year old Lisa Martin, Hollywood, Bobbie, and Sage.
"What's going on here?" She asked
"Oh...we're celebrating Halle's life." Lisa said
Charlie skipped over and hugged Caitlin, "It's good to see you, Cait. Thanks for coming."
Caitlin hugged Charlie back, confused, but also slightly amused, "It's good to see you too, Charlie." She wasn't really sure what to say. This hadn't been at all what she was expecting.
Sage ran over to Caitlin, grabbing her hand, "Dance with us, Auntie Cait."
"Okay." She agreed
Meanwhile upstairs, Serenity and Torren were in their room talking about baby names. Since finding out from Hallelujah that they were having a boy, they'd been talking about what they want to name their child.
They knew that they had time. About five and a half months, but usually it took time to decide upon a name.
They had already vetoed so many names, like...John, Elijah, Michael, Samuel, Nicholas, Matthew, and Caleb.
They didn't want a common name, which was obvious from Serenity's name suggestions. Like Trance, Brave, Noble, Valient, Loyal, Reason, Knight, and Creed.
They couldn't agree on anything. But one thing they could agree on was Dale for the middle name in honour of Serenity's maternal grandfather Perry Dale Jones.
"How about Benaiah or Carsten?" Torren suggested
Serenity shrugged, "I'm not sure. They just don't sound right."
"Well what about Joiachim?"
Serenity shook her head, "No. Valor?"
"Sorry." Torren apologized
"Don't be." She told him, "We'll find something we like eventually."
Torren sighed, "Hopefully before the baby is born."
Serenity leaned in close to her husband, "Definitely before our son is born." She kissed him gently on the lips.
Outside, many hours later as the sun was starting to set and it was getting close to dinner time, David wrapped up his teachings and told the people the next teaching is tomorrow at eight.
Heading inside, David found Caitlin sitting in the front sitting room talking with Cyrus and 12 year old Treasure Summers.
He walked over and patted Caitlin on the shoulder, "It's good to see you again, Cait."
She smiled, "Likewise. I would stand and hug you, but..."
"No. It's okay. I see you got your hands full." David finished
Caitlin was holding one year old Valkyrie on her lap. The little tot was smiling real big and jumping all around. She was a very active little girl. Much how like Cyrus was as a kid.
"Oh...she's a joy."
"Yeah. Have you hung her upside down yet?" David asked
Caitlin shook her head.
"Oh. She loves that." David replied, "Do you mind?"
"No. Not at all. Go ahead."
David smiled gratefully as he picked up Valkyrie and held her upside down above his shoulder, holding her by the waist. Much like he had done with Cyrus when he was a toddler.
Valkyrie was smiling and laughing. She was having a great time.
Cyrus smiled seeing how much fun his daughter was having. He remembered his dad doing that with him when he was a small child.
"Daddy?" Treasure uttered, "Did you do that with me when I was little?"
"I tried. You didn't like it though." David informed
Treasure nodded, "Oh."
The now 25 year old Audrey Martinez came from the direction of the kitchen.
"Hey. Dinner's ready." She said
"Thanks Audrey." David replied
Audrey smiled, giving a nod, before heading back into the kitchen.
"So who cooked today?" David asked Caitlin as they walked with him carrying Valkyrie. Cyrus and Treasure in front of them.
Since David had been outside sharing the message - The Truth of God and the Seven Seals all day, he didn't have the opportunity to see find out who's turn it was to cook dinner.
"Nora. I know Chanel helped. I think Eleanor might have helped too."
Eleanor is Nora and Ray's 3 year old daughter.
"Hmm...that sounds good." David agreed
Up in Heaven, Hallelujah was watching over her family as she waited for the time of the end. As much as she wondered when the end time would come, as anxious as she was to see and hug her family again, she didn't know when it would be the end time. Only the Father knew, but she was waiting. She did know a couple things for sure: she couldn't wait to see everyone in her family again and it would be a lot longer of a wait for her family than it would be for her. In her short time in Heaven, Hallelujah had discovered time works differently than on Earth. While on Earth it had been almost a week since she had died and ascended into Heaven. For her, up in Heaven, only about two and a half hours had passed. It had been exactly one hundred and sixty eight minutes.
Hope you enjoy. Comments are greatly appreciated. In fact, they keep me going.
What would you like to see happen next?
