Chapter 1:-
It is an hour passed midnight, 1 : 00 a.m... The atmosphere is gloomy and the surroundings, pitch dark.. There was not a single soul to be found on the empty streets.. After some minutes, a flash of headlights of a car was seen..
The empty street was illuminated to a large extent but when, the car was seen very clearly, the scenario inside, could only remind one, of darkness and nothing else, in spite of the light...
A short haired girl of around 23 yrs of age was driving the car... with its speed increasing in a horrifying manner... The loudspeaker inside was blaring and the car was filled with an odour of wine... The speed displayer showed... 100... 120... 140... 160... 180... CRASHHHHHHH...
The place where the accident took place was on the outskirts of Mumbai that was covered with greenery with the street running through it... The place was devoid of human inhabitance except for the fact that there was one small, one-roomed house where only one person lived who was often visited by another...
On the other hand,
A man of around 25 years was sitting on a chair and reading a news article and trying to find out something mysterious from it..
Man:- Kitna baja (looks at the wall clock) arey bapre (in horror) ek ?? Der raat tak neend nahi aayi.. teen teen goli.. mere pet mein chale gaye hai.. shayad woh bhi asar nahi karte ab...
Just at that moment, his phone rang.. Looking at the caller's name flashing on the screen, his expression changed twice... at first a smile came on is lips.. then, remembering the time, a horrified look followed...
Man:(over phone):- Hello... ha bol yaar... (fake yawned)
As the words 'bol' and 'yaar' were used, it can be concluded that he was his friend and near about his age..
Man 2 (other side of the phone):- Kya bol yaar? Tu abhi tak soya nahi?
Man 1:- Ha ha so hi toh raha tha tunne phone kiya toh phone uthaya
Man 2:- Abbe o.. mujhse hoshiyari nahi Boss.. achhe se pata hai nahi soye.. kyun aaj neend ki goli ne bhi asar nahi ki
Man 1(shocked):- Tujhe kaise pata chala mai neend ki goli leta hoon?
Man 2:- Pata hai.. kyunki tu aise nahi soyega.. neend ki goli toh tu pakka leta hai.. aaj kya ho gaya.. kaam nahi kiya hai goli ne?
Man 1:(guilty tone):- Nahi yaar.. nahi kiya.. neend aa hi nahi rahi
Man 2:- abhi tere hath mein woh newspaper ka tukda hai na?
Man 1:- Ha.. (bewildered expression) lekin tujhe yeh sab kaise pata.. ek minute.. (looks everywhere) kahi tunne camera toh nahi lagaya hai
Man 2:- Camera lagane ki zaroorat nahi hai beta.. tu mere dost se zyada bhai hai.. sab pata hota hai kya karta hai kaha jata hai..
Man 1:- Ohh...
Man 2:- Tunne dinner kiya hai abhi tak
Man 1:- H.. h.. ha
Man 2:- Abbe jhoot bolna seekh le.. ek saal ho gaya hai tu abhi tak dhang se jhoot nahi bol pata hai..
Man 1:- Yaar... bhookh lagti nahi isliye khaya nahi
Man 2:- Kyun kar raha hai aisa yaar (concerned tone) tu wapas aa ja na.. mai sir se baat karunga.. plz bhai.. aise rooth kar chale jane se koi problem nahi suljhaya jata...
Man 1:- Dekh agar tujhe us insaan ke bare mein kuchh bolna hai toh mai phone rakh raha hoon
Man 2:- Nahi nahi achha ok.. woh sab chhod.. ab ek kaam kar.. khana kha le.. aur so ja.. bohot raat ho chuki hai
Man 1:- Achha thik hai koshish karta hoon sone ki
Man 2:- Dekh yeh sahi nahi hai.. kya koshish.. no koshish.. bus kha le.. aur so ja.. nahi toh mai jake zor zabardasti khilaunga
Man 1:- Nahi nahi.. Thanks.. mai.. mai kha leta hoon
Man 2:- Hmm good boy..
Man 1:- Mai bus paanch minute aur ek book padhlunga phir kha lunga pakka
Man 2:- Kis book ke bare mein bol raha hai
Man 1:- Arey kal padhana hai na.. students ke sare queries clear karne hai
Man 2:- Thik hai but 5 minutes only
Man 1:- Thik hai bhai sahab..
Man 2:- Ok.. Good night..
Man 1:- Good night
Immediately, disconnecting the call he, switched his phone off immediately..
Man 1:- So nahi sakta mai.. wapas toh mai bilkul bhi nahi jaunga.. sir ne bohot galat kiya hai mere sath... pehle mai begunahi sabit karunga phir sir ke samne jakar unhe apne aap se resignation letter dunga.. suspension hatne do phir mai khud se chala aaunga.. Sir ne mujhpe vishwas nahi kiya..
Some voices disturbed him again,
... Tum aisa kar sakte ho humne kabhi sapne mein bhi nahi socha tha?...
... Tumne Sumeet ki jaan li hai.. aur phir Intelligence ke secrets leak kiya hai?..
... Jo kiya hai woh accept karo...
... You are a liar... desh ke sath gaddari ki hai tumne...
... Inspector... bhale hi aap ke khilaaf proper evidence aur gawah nahi hai phir bhi aap shak ke dayre mein hai.. isliye jab tak aapko clean chit nahi milta hai aap suspend rahenge...
"NAHIIIIIIII", he screamed...
Man 1:- P.. pani.. (took a glass of water and drank it in one go) maine kisi ko nahi mara hai.. na hi kisi ko koi bhi secret leak kiya hai.. Mai beqasoor hoon.. koi mujhpe bharosa kyun nahi karta...
After a minute,
Man 1:- Thoda bahar ghumke aata hoon.. mind ko fresh karna zaroori hai.. achhi jagah pe ek ghar mila hai mujhe... aas paas koi nahi rehta.. achhi baat hai.. kisi ka chehra dekhne ka bhi man nahi karta ab...
He was strolling through the street outside his house, thinking about how he was wrongly framed and how he was allegated and insulted by his father-like senior that too in front of his juniors..
Man 1:(POV)- Thoda rehem karte mujhpe sir.. ek baar bhi yeh nahi socha.. ki jis officer ne apne seene pe goli khayi hai apne desh ke suraksha ke liye woh kaise aisa ghatiya kaam kar sakta hai.. sir.. aap ne dimag ka istemal karte karte dil kho diya hai.. aur jis din aap ne mujhe waise insult kiye the.. us din mujhe Antankwadi ya kisi aur Mujrim pe nahi aap pe gussa aa raha tha.. ya phir shayad khud pe ki maine galat insaan ka apne papa jaisa samman aur izzat kiya...
He was thinking all these when suddenly, he caught sight of something.. A car had crashed with a tree and it was obvious that the accident was due to a drunk driver...
Man 1:- Andar driver hai kya? Dekhu? Ha ha bilkul.. dekhna toh padega hi..
He ran towards the car...
