Chapter 3 - New realm, New rules - Part 2
I do not own My Hero Academia or Ninjago, both franchises are owned by their respective companies.Characters from the MHA universe will NOT be getting elemental powers.
Also Elemental powers will not act like quirks, so anything that cancels quirks, and the quirk stealing properties of All for One are useless against Jay.
Last time on; My Hero Academia: Lightning Strikes Twice.Jay had just been transported to a new world and managed to find shelter on the roof of a school. While there he learned that in this world people have things called 'Quirks' that are essentially super powers.Jay also met a Quirkless boy named Izuku Midoriya after saving him from a sludge villain. Jay made a deal with Izuku promising to train him in return for help finding a way home. However they are being watched and followed by pro heros who want to take Jay in for questioning. How will our duo react? Well you are about to find out.
Jay and Izuku are currently making their way over to Izuku's house since Jay has literally nowhere else to go. Jay decided to follow Izuku over the rooftops, as to not gain any unwanted attention, much to the dismay of Izuku. They had been walking for about 20 minutes now and they had reached an unfortunate crime scene, one that both Jay and Izuku didn't think they would see.
Jay saw smoke clear as day, it was right in front of him after all. But Jay didn't know why Izuku was heading this way, he got an answer when he looked down to see Izuku confused on why he was there too. "Wait he subconsciously walked here, please don't tell me he is some kind of fanboy." Jay thought to himself. He looked around the scene to see if there was a way he could help without getting seen, there were fires, large fires, everywhere. There was barely any rubble left to hide behind, and even then all of the rubble there was too small to hide behind properly.
Jay then looked to the middle of the area to see what he was dealing with, it was the sludge villain from earlier, how did he get all the way out here so fast, from what he saw he should have been knocked unconscious. Unless he had a healing factor he shouldn't have been able to recover from that so quickly, and even then he doesn't move that fast from what Jay could recall, so what happened.
After a second of trying to figure out what was going on and how to stop it Jay saw Izuku running out of the crowd directly towards the villain. "Oh no. What are you doing? Are you crazy?" Jay thought as Izuku threw his bag at the villain blinding him for a second, Jay stopped overthinking things and was ready to jump down when he heard a loud almost booming voice. "I Really am pathetic." A large muscular figure said, pulling both Izuku and the boy that was being held hostage away from the villain. "I see now that I wasn't living up to my own standards." The man said, reeling back his fist for an attack. "DETROIT SMASH!" The man yelled, sending a powerful uppercut at the villain. The air pressure from the punch was so strong that Jay fell back a couple feet. Then as he was getting back up he saw that the clouds were changing. "Holy, jeez." Jay whispered to himself, not entirely sure on what to say. "He changed the weather, with one attack. Normally it would take me two or three to get even a slight change but this." Jay said as it started to rain. "Is incredible." Jay stated to himself.
After Izuku got scolded by the 'heros' for helping, even if he didn't do much and the 'heroes' weren't doing anything themselves, him and Jay went to a less populated route so they could walk together.
"So why did you run in?" Jay asked his new friend. "I don't know, first I saw that none of the pro heros were helping, then I saw it was Kacchan who needed help and next thing I knew I was running at the villain getting ready to throw my school bag at him." Izuku replied. "So your body moved on it's own." Jay said, now starting to understand what is happening. "You instinctively ran out to help him because of your fight or flight response to the situation." Jay stated.
The two walked in silence for a moment, thinking about what just happened. Then they heard a loud angry voice. "OI, DEKU!" The voice yelled out. The two turn around to see a blond haired boy, he was just a tiny bit taller then Jay, had spiky hair, and red eyes. "K-Kacchan. What are you-" Izuku said, getting interpreted by Bakugou, "I didn't need your help, you damn useless nerd. Your just a pebble on my path to being the number one hero so don't think this will happen again and stay the fuck out of my way." Bakugou roared "Ok, listen here sparky." Jay said "Who the hell, you calling Sparky, extra." Bakugou responded. "You dumbass, now listen. Everyone needs help from time to time, sure you didn't need his help specifically, but you did need help. So either you pull your head out of your ass and start accepting it, or you stay being a stuck up prick and never be able to move forward because of it." Jay said with slight venom in his voice. Jay still remembers what he said to Izuku earlier and it took all he had to not hand Bakugou's ass to him, Bakugou wasn't making that easy either.
After about a minute of staring at each other Bakugou left and Jay turned back to Izuku and said "Sorry you had to see me like that, I just don't like people like him. People who only care about their image or fame. I used to be like that, still am sometimes although it isn't as bad nowadays. Not only that but he made me break my six year streak of not swearing, great."
There was a moment of silence before the man from the villain attack returned. "I AM HERE!" He shouted, stopping from what looked to be a full sprint mid-sentence. "A-All Might!?" Izuku semi-excitedly yelped in response. Meanwhile Jay had no clue what was going on and had an extremely confused look on his face. He was secretly hoping that this wasn't some kind of generic reality altering moment, it would be like the second time today for both him and Izuku.
"Now I have come here for two reasons. One is related to hero work and the other is personal." All Might stated. However before anything else could happen he was enveloped in a large cloud of smoke, afterwards what Jay thought was All Might was gone but instead there stood a skinny, almost skeletal man. Jay quickly looked him up and down, he had the same eye color, hair color, the hair style was a little messier and he was definitely in the same clothes. Izuku then started talking "Wh-What happened? Where's All Might-" before Izuku could freak out any further Jay interrupted him saying "That's All Might right there, from what I can tell that smoke was excess energy that he couldn't use normally. If you aren't sure he does have the same eye color, his hair isn't standing on its end but still is mostly the same, and the rest of the visual details are the same as well, just less pronounced, or well… muscular." Izuku then stops talking and looks over All Might coming to the same conclusion soon after.
"So what were you here for?" Jay asked calmly, he feels strange he hasn't needed to act this way in a long time. "Well you see, concerning my hero work I need to take you in for questioning about that strange portal you fell out of. The personal thing actually involves this young man right here." All might said, pointing at Izuku. Jay was shocked, he moved into a bit more of a defensive position. "I also heard the deal you made with him, so if you don't mind me asking what are you looking for exactly?" All might stated entering a bit of a defensive posture himself. "Honestly you wouldn't believe me. It would sound so outlandish that you will think I am lying through my teeth." Jay responded, not letting up his defensive posture, but also making sure not to look aggressive. "You think that what you will tell me is that crazy. If you believe so then I doubt you know what things are like here very much, there are places on earth where only quirkless people live after all." All Might replied his tone was a little lighthearted but also cautious. "Fine you want to know, I'll tell you. I'm looking for the ingredients to something called 'traveller's tea', when lit on fire it creates a portal to another dimension, or 'realm', as long as they are connected. I don't know the exact formula that got me here but It is easy to change or mess up so there is a lot of leeway with what I can do, if I find a good supply I should be able to make a portal home in about a year of testing." Jay said with a hint of annoyance in his voice. All Might was silent for a moment, he seemed confused. "You're right, that does sound outlandish." All Might stated. "If you are telling the truth then we need a sure fire way to have everyone trust you. Thankfully I have that covered, I know a guy with a Lie Detector quirk, he can tell if you are lying even if your brain has been altered to believe what you are saying is true." All Might said proudly.
Izuku was watching this go down. He was trying to process the fact that other dimensions existed, let alone that Jay was from one. "Now then, you two are going to need to come with me. You aren't in trouble but we need to know about your situation better if we are going to help you. And as for you young Midoriya, you will find out when you get there." All Might said. Jay relaxed himself, he put his hands behind his head and breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank god. You do not know how many times I have gotten in trouble with the law for something I didn't do." Jay said with a bit of a grown. Both Izuku and All Might looked confused at Jay's statement but they each decided to let it slide for different reasons.
"Wait, Izuku, shouldn't we tell your parents what is going on?" Jay said. At that statement there was a sudden silence, no one knew what to do. "Um, I could call my mom and give her a brief rundown of what is going on. Nothing too important, but enough so that she doesn't worry." Izuku said. "All right, That should be good." All Might responded. Izuku then went off to make his call while All Might was texting someone apparently. It took five minutes for Izuku to finish his call, he returned with a relieved yet tired expression. "I'm sorry that took so long. My mom was just worried about me, thankfully I didn't spill anything too important. The only things I let out were the fact I'm with All Might and the place I'm going to for the interrogation was UA." He said. All might chuckled to himself in response, "It's fine kid, you managed to keep the more important details out of the conversation so you did well in my opinion." All Might said, and Jay nodded in agreement.
}Timeskip 1 hour{
It had been a while since the trio started making their way to UA, it had been a good walk all things considered. Jay had managed to learn a solid amount about this world without sounding completely stupid in public. One of the main reasons it took so long is because they needed to stay away from more public places. Jay also got to show off the fact that he could change clothes in a second thanks to spinjitzu.
Jay was now wearing the closest thing he could get to his more civilian clothes back home. He wore an unzipped light blue hoodie, a red t-shirt, grey jeans, blues shoes, and a light blue winter hat.
He had never thought he would find people reacting to spinjitzu would be funny, he was wrong, dead worng. Both All Might and Izuku had looks of surprise, amazement and wonder on their faces. To put is simply, they were star struck. All Might was thinking of how easy it would be to change into costumes at a moments notice, thinking of all the ways that it could save so many people with such a simple ability. Izuku on the other hand was taking all the notes he could on it, writing down questions and ideas of how it could work, some of those ideas sound interesting, like they could be really helpful in the right circumstances but he didn't think they could actually work. Jay had used spinjitzu as a projectile before, although he mistakenly called it 'Wind'. To be fair he didn't know about the element of Wind back then, but looking back on it he still cringed immensely every time he thought of it. Getting back to the point Jay thpught that some of these ideas could work if he had enough time to test them.
It took a second for the trio to start moving again. This time however All Might and Izuku were asking questions about Jay's abilities, which he was more then happy to oblige, many since hit stated his ego and he didn't like being his more serious self for this long. Wasn't the longest he had been serious, that record was taken by a mile, but still, it felt so long to him.
With every detail Jay gave All Might and Izuku, the more confused they got. Eventually All Might got so confused that he just said that it would be better if I have everyone the full story during questioning, just so that they understand the scope of this situation. Jay agreed to this and the rest of the walk was pretty normal, even with his minimal knowledge of this world Jay was still able to throw his two cents into the conversation and actually participate. Jay liked that, this would was very different to his own and yet there were so many similarities that he could actually understand what was going on.
}Time skip 1 hour{
The trio were currently standing outside of the UA school building. Jay hoped that he wouldn't have to do anything to drastic in this world in order to stay, everything else in his body told him otherwise. "Let's just hope the people here aren't insane, and actually have some kind of plan for me." Jay thought to him self as two figures approached the front gate. "Hello, you must be the one that feel our of the Portal." One of them said. Jay felt some thing crawl down the back of his neck. something bad was happening, and he didn't know what it was or where it could be.
AAANNNNNND CHAPTER COMPLETE! Oh man, this was a though one. I didn't know what to do for this so sorry but this is mainly a filler Chpater.The next part is going to be fun though, I want to do something with Nodahkan before he is revealed to the class and I thought of the perfect idea. The Next chapter Is going to have a lot of explaining to do and is going to have the entrance exams, (hopefully). But man Is this going to be fun.
Next question, should Jay teach people (Deku, Ojiro, Kendo, Kirishima, and Shinso) Spinjitzu, since it is a marshal art and you DO NOT need to be an elemental master to use it. Deku is probably going to be the only 'overpowered' character to get spinjitzu since later on in the story I don't see him actually needing it so it will mainly be going to characters that would not only end up actually needing to use it, but also characters that I think would actually be willing to undergo the extremely unfair training to understand what they need to do. But they will need to have that realizationI can actually see Jay doing this and I also kinda want to do it as well, but let me know what you think, I'll be happy to hear your opinions on this.
