For a moment Rex did nothing looking at Genesis who bit his lip looking worried. Was Rex unhappy with what he said? Did the other fear it? Was it too early? Thoughts whirled through the redhead's mind as he stared at Rex who stumbled back to sit on a chair looking at him.

"Your sure? It's not an error or something?" Asked Rex tilting his head looking at Genesis who shook his head looking at the other a frown coming.

"No it's not an error..Caesar caught it.." Said Genesis prompting Rex to speak softly.

" I don't want you on the field then… I would really rather you stay where it's safe.." Said Rex before Genesis looked at him nodding slightly.

"Alright, I'll stay here at the base.." Genesis wouldn't fight him on it. Rex would need all his concentration out there if he was to win. Genesis knew this he wouldn't fight the other on it. He would stay at base even though it was a sad thing for him. He didn't like being cooped up but even he knew better then to risk himself out there. He knew it would be dangerous that his Nanites were doing all they could to help his body support the new life inside him.

The days would turn to months and after the purge of Nanites in the world he and Rex where a few of the handful of Evos still left in the world. Him due to the child he carried and a few others due to Breach's hidden pocket. Genesis was out for a walk when he encountered Breach sitting on a set of steps.

"Your carrying his child aren't you?" Asked Breach making Genesis look at her nervously. Breach was an odd ball at times. He was unsure sometimes how she was.

Looking at her Genesis would nod slightly. "I'm due any day now.. I can scarcely believe it.."

"..I didn't know you could do that..Does it hurt?" Asked Breach looking curiously at him. Genesis would shake his head a smile coming. "No, my body has worked it's self out a while ago to support the baby.."

"Oh.. What are you going to name the child?" Asked Breach curiously her head tilting.

"Raphael if it's a boy Violetta if it's a girl.." Said Genesis making Breach smile slightly a nod coming from the girl.

"I see..they are both good names.." Said Breach before she opened a red portal "You look tired why don't you go home?" Breach would say before gesturing to the portal. Genesis would pause before looking to her. "Why are you helping me?" Asked Genesis curiously.

Breach would smile sadly before speaking. "Because your special you can give life not just take it.."

Genesis stared for a moment a small smile coming as he spoke. "Thank you Breach.."

Genesis would go through the portal a sigh coming as he arrived at Providence looking amused. He supposed that even Breach had standards somewhere in her. Perhaps picking on pregnant people was where she drew the line. He would look curiously at his room before turning looking down. He would wince before one hand rested against his stomach.

It was time the baby was coming. Genesis had suffered worse then this. He would make his way down to the lab his teeth gritted. Holiday would rush to receive him looking anxious. "Is it time Genesis?"

"Yes I'm afraid so Holiday… This kid is coming if I like it or not..Oh god where's Rex?!" Asked Genesis making Holiday smile. "I called him he's coming don't worry." Genesis would wave one hand. "Well I'm not worried about it.. I just don't want him to miss out on a part of Fatherhood.." Said Genesis making Holiday blink. "Oh? What part would that be?" Asked the woman making Genesis smirk softly. "The part where the pain is so bad I break his hand."

Holiday would blink before laughing softly. "Alright you want me to hold off then?" Genesis would nod slightly. "I want him here for this..He is not getting a free pass on this part.." Said Genesis a smirk coming once more. Holiday would nod her head before starting to prep what she would need as Rex came rushing in. "I'm here! I'm here! I didn't miss it did I?!" Said Rex panting his eyes wide. Genesis would gesture with one hand. "No, now get over here and give me your hand.." Said Genesis making Rex eye him walking over to take his hand. Despite his words Genesis didn't break Rex's hand who was nervous enough about things. When the child left his body Genesis felt relieved. The weight that had been in him was suddenly gone and he felt better. As Holiday stitched him up he looked down a snort coming. A little boy, why was he not surprised. "Is there anything you Salazar boys don't do?" Asked Genesis making Rex chuckle softly tilting his head. "What you wanted a little girl?" Asked Rex making Genesis shake his head. "No..I didn't mind either way." Said Genesis making Rex snort softly. Genesis would reach out holding the baby in his arms a smile coming. "Hello Raphael.. Your father is silly sometimes isn't he?" Asked Genesis as the baby lay quietly in his arms a yawn coming.

Rex would smile slightly before looking to the other. "I wonder what color his eyes are going to be.." Genesis would look to Rex before tilting his head. "...I bet they will be like yours.. He's going to look like his father.." Said Genesis making Rex grin slightly.

"I bet he's gonna be a heart breaker when he gets older.." Said Rex making Genesis snort softly.

"Maybe he will.. Or maybe a great student.. We don't know what he will be like.." Said Genesis. Neither of them would know it but their son would be a miracle. Able to cure what his father couldn't.

Raphael would survive a devastating attack that would leave both of his parents in comas making him the only person in the world able to cure. There wasn't much left to do for that and soon Raphael was bored out of his mind at Providence looking at Six his eyes half closed. "..Uncle Six they'll wake up soon won't they?" Asked Raphael making Six look down at him. "Yes Raphael they will soon..."

Truth was no one knew when the two would wake up. The two would sleep for two years waking to a world who no longer needed curing. To a Providence that was more law enforcement then anything else. Genesis would be the first to wake up. "Ohh...How long was I out?" Asked Genesis. Seeing how old Holiday was he stared at the woman. They had been out for quite a while. He could think maybe five or four years. Their Nanites must have needed to repair the damage to their bodies. If it was anyone else they more then likely would have been dead. When his son came through the door holding a couple vases of flowers Genesis smiled. "Raphael..Good morning.."

Raphael didn't drop the flowers luckily he carried them to their tables setting them down before hugging his mother his eyes closing as he mumbled softly. "What took you so long?!"

Genesis smiled softly "I had to recover… Not just anyone can survive something like that.."

Rex would sit up looking groggy"How long have I been asleep?" Asked Rex making Raphael and Genesis snort softly.

"A bit of a while dad..Welcome back did you sleep well?" Asked Raphael making Rex yawn stretching slightly.

"Yea..But I'm a little hungry..." Said Rex making Genesis and Raphael snicker softly at the other shaking their heads.

All was well.. Rex would turn to law enforcement his son would follow in his steps and Genesis would open a floral shop using his talents to bring joy to people's lives. Sometimes he would even supply Providence workers with free flowers for events. Rex would come home at the end of the day to a hot meal. Sometimes a cold one.. It all depended on Genesis and how the day was temperature wise. For the most part the two finally had their happy ending. A normal relationship A normal house. A normal job and a normal life. The world was moving on from the events of the past that pushed it to a breaking point. Even Thorn and Six were finally married. Genesis was happy to provide the flowers. A local bakery supplying the cake for free due to the two agents rescuing a little girl who had been caught in a bug nest.

Exodus even settled down finally powered down. He would teach martial arts to local children. His style was a bit wild but a lot of kids seemed to like it. It helped them if they were ever attacked they had the tools to defend themselves. That was the important thing. It wasn't the ending he had perceived. Rather it was the ending he needed to move on. Exodus and Breach were soon expecting their own child a little girl. Whom Breach was insistent on calling Rose. Exodus didn't mind not one bit. He was grateful that he was going to have anything to be honest. He had expected to pass the end of his days in a prison cell so when White Knight released him of the collar he was off like a shot. Breach was happy as well. She had found the love she had been looking for. As well as her normal body back due to the efforts of Raphael while his parents where out. It was a happy ending for many people. Maybe the best ending was to Rex and Genesis who at the end of it all were successful and happy with their lives.
