So, I've been wanting to do this story for a while. It's a collection of Drabbles between Robin, Batman, and a few of my OCs that make up the Young Justice version of the Batfam (as of Mar. 2012). Each will have a theme and be drabbles of daily life now that the rest of the YJ team know of Robin's family.

As always all rights belong to Warner Bros. and DC comics. Lenora belongs to me.

Protection

The league had been called out to take care of some villains halfway around the world. All the info Robin could hack from the message was that it was some kind of conference, but he wasn't too sure about it. Since the league was away on business, their younger counterparts decided it would be a good idea to go out and fight crime on their own.

It had been part of the plan all along: lure the Justice League out to some desolate place far away from their protégés, and take the "kids" hostage. They had fallen right into the hands of the Shadows, and now it seemed as if there was no escape. With the same kind of collars used at Belle Rev around their necks, the team was helpless. A screen rolled down from the ceiling as Sportsmaster walked in through a door, and suddenly the rest of the league appeared on the screen.

"What do you want?" Batman began interrogating even though he knew that Sportsmaster had the upper hand in this game. "I'm just here to have a little fun; it's nothing personal," he paused to kick Kid Flash in the face, "Okay, so it is." Flash sped forward looking ready to pounce into the TV and kill Sportsmaster with his bare hands. "Easy, easy Flashy. Wouldn't want anyone else to get hurt would you?" He began to reach for Aqualad, but Batman asked him again, "What do you want?"

Sportsmaster began, "We're keepin' the kids. If you get in our way, you can bet they're gonna get it." Batman did not look impressed so the villain continued. "But if you don't believe me, I guess I'll have to give you a demonstration." Artemis began screaming at him, pulling at the restraints until blood was visible on her palms. He strode up to her slowly and, with no mercy, slapped her across the face. Green Arrow winced knowing he could do nothing to stop this from happening. He wished he could pull them all out, but he was worried mostly for Artemis. "Savin' you for last," Sportsmaster sneered at her as he reached for Robin and dragged him up to the the front of the room. The rest of the team looked at their teammate, no emotion on his face. He was playing the brave little hero for Batman's sake; feigning acceptance as his mentor would have done. Megan cried out as Wally and Artemis cussed up a storm.

"Little birdie is about to lose his wings. Not even you can save him now, Batman," Sportsmaster taunted.

"No, but I can."

The voice came was followed by a loud snap, and in the blink of an eye, a woman appeared, gripping Sportsmaster by the throat. He struggled to breathe, the toes of his boots barely scraping the tile. The woman lifted him higher and hissed showing off her huge canines. "Don't you dare touch him," she hissed out.

She was quite a sight: long, brown hair crowned with a set of twisted horns, abnormally pale skin, and green eyes that were so bright, Sportsmaster was reminded of fluorescent lights. She looked absolutely feral. Her long nails dug into his neck painfully. He could see blood running down her arm and realized that it was his. He kicked her, but the collision did nothing. She grimaced and threw him at the wall and he slid down unconscious. She bent over and growled loudly as the skin of her back ripped open for a set of wings.

The team looked on in fear at the wild woman, but Robin began talking to her. "It's okay. I'm okay. You can whelm yourself," he spoke evenly as if trying to calm her. She walked over to him and broke the collar right off his neck with her hands before pulling him into a hug. "I was so worried about you. I'm going to kill Br..Bats when I see him," she quickly corrected herself.

Finally away from the drama and action of the kidnapping, the team was able to witness their very own Robin being doted on by the wild woman who had somehow regressed into a normal looking civilian. "Honey, I'm so glad you're alright. I told you I wanted you to be more careful when you're out crime fighting!" She began to eye Batman with anger, "And as for you! What the hell were you thinking falling for a trap like that? Aren't you supposed to be a genius? Gotham's greatest detective my ass!" Batman huffed in frustration as the League tried not to giggle behind him. "Lenora, please," he said shaking his head. The young teammates looked on in awe. Just who was this woman and how did she manage all that courage to yell at Batman?

"So guys," Robin said ignoring the two adults behind him. "This is my mom, Lenora. She's...well she's a demon."
