Listen to Me 2

Aizawa walked into the room.

There was an awkward silence between them as they stared at each other. Izuku rubbed his neck, looking away from Aizawa's stare.

What did he do now?

Oh.

"If this is about the hole in the wall, I swear is wasn't-" Izuku was quickly interrupted.

"I already saw the footage."

If he saw the footage already, why was he here?

Was there something else?

"Oh, okay…" Izuku wasn't sure how to answer. He couldn't think of anything else he could have possibly done wrong. Aizawa pulled out the notebook.

"This belong to you?"

"Oh! Heh, yeah. Thanks!" Izuku reached over to grab his notebook back, but Aizawa swiftly pulled it back, just right out of his grasp. "Uhm…can I have it back? Please?"

"I need you to explain to me what's in here." Aizawa commanded. He was pissed. He also wanted answers. All the things written in the notebook.

"It's just notes on pro heroes and stuff." Izuku explained, but his teacher didn't seem to believe him. It was true. He just wrote some analysis on a few heroes, that was all to it.

Aizawa~

That was total bullshit, and unless he's blind, he was sure that all the things written in the book was definitely not an analysis.

He shook his head in a bit of frustration. Izuku wasn't telling him everything.

"No, it's not."

"Yes! I've been sifting through my stack of old notebooks to compare with my current findings and-" Aizawa was agitated, he wanted to know what was going on. Izuku had more for Christ sakes. Old ones. He had more than just this one notebook and Aizawa already wanted to destroy this one book.

How many are there?

"How many of these do you have?"

Izuku~

Is Aizawa mad because I write analysis?

Does he find it weird as well? No, he must have read it, I'm sure that was my hero analysis.

He's mad at you~ Very mad~

Why do I keep mucking up?

"How many of these do you have?" Izuku looked up, he didn't even realise that he was looking down. He was too absorbed in his thoughts.

What? Oh, right. The notebooks.

"Uhm, around eighty or so? I forgot which ones were just actual school notebooks, so it could be a few more than that."

Aizawa~

Eighty or so?! No. That was ridiculous.

Eighty!

A plenty of them were probably full of those fucking comments! Probably all filled with the same thoughts of maybe just ending it all.

How could Aizawa not see it? His own student.

He looked to side in disgust.

His student was going through all of this and Aizawa didn't even notice.

There were eighty notebooks!

He blinked away the slight brim of tears.

His own student! Damn it!

Izuku~

"Probably just dropped one from the stack while leaving class." Aizawa opened his notebook and shoved it into his hands.

"Heh, I'm sure it's just…" Izuku was lost for words.

This was…

'Just pray that you'll be born with a quirk in your next life, and take a swan dive off the roof of the building.'

Maybe he's right. Maybe I should just…

'Ha! You little nerd! You're such a pathetic piece of crap.'

Izuku closed his eyes a little to regain himself. He thought he was finally away from this, he tried so hard to ignore it every day, but somehow it always crept up behind him.

'How can you even look at yourself in the mirror? I'd definitely off myself if I were you.'

'Get out of our lives! Nobody wants you!'

"This is really old. This is not…I mean, I-" Izuku chuckled nervously. Trying to find an explanation, he didn't do it, so it wasn't a big deal. He looked down at the notebook as his hands subconsciously flipped through the pages.

"I'm not asking when it's from. I'm asking if this notebook belongs to you."

Maybe he could lie out of this?

He knew his name was written along the book. There was no point.

He closed his eyes. Rubbing his neck, there wasn't much to say.

He flipped the page over. His eyes traced the page.

"Yes."
