Once Eliza and Pikachu returned from the ice forest thanks to Ninetails warping out of the mountain, they told the team about Ninetails and why the disasters were happening. They told the team about the Ultra Guardians and that because of their disappearance, the shadow beasts were attacking the Pokémon world. The main duo also explained that they needed to find a way to get to Ultra Space since Ninetails didn't know of a way to send Pokémon there.
"We figured that we need some sort of powerful psychic pokemon or perhaps a whole team of them in order to make something to teleport us to Ultra Space and confront the source of the problem," Pikachu told everyone before Eliza finished his sentence, "Do you happen to know any psychic pokemon who might be willing to help us get to Ultra Space?"
Treecko began the team's new mission, "I may not know any psychic types, but I think that's going to be our new objective: gather up psychic types and make a tool strong enough to get to Ultra Space!"
"Yeah!"
As the team had spread out to search for psychic types, the team learned that while a single psychic type could teleport people to Ultra Space, they could gather a group of them and make an item that could teleport pokemon to locations that they couldn't reach otherwise. They learned of this fact by meeting an extremely intelligent pokemon called Alakazam who told them about their extended quest, "The item you need to access this Ultra Space, is called a teleport gem." Alakazam then asked Eliza a confusing question as an outsider to the pokemon world: "You are a fighting type, so why are you wanting to fight psychic types?" Eliza only responded with a very confused face which spread to Alakazam as he realized how uninformed Eliza was on type matchups. He gave Eliza a quick rundown on types and certain type effectiveness "Forgive me Team Hope, but you're leader seems to be the first pokemon to get me emotional in a long time," Alakazam said while trying to return to his usual calm self. Once he had returned to normal, he continued by mentioning a few certain non-legendary psychic types the team could look for and bring them to Alakazam so they could create a teleport gem stong enough to send Eliza and Pikachu to Ultra Space.
The psychic types Alakazam wanted to recruit were Xatu, Espeon, Gardevoir, Meowstic, and Solosis. With a list in paws, the team shared this information with the rest of their team members so that they could go accross the world looking for Alakazam's friends so they could obtain their tool for Ultra Space traveling.
Note: Eliza has encountered psychic types before, she's just never heard of types[She's never been exposed to Pokemon until she was sent to this world after all.]
