Hi everyone! Sorry for update so late. I have no excuse for the late update. Though, I did have to rewrite this chapter three or four time...Please forgive me. Though, I will make sure this time, I will update the next chapter faster, at least, I try to. I at least edit some part on the last chapter. After rereading the first novel again, I notice that I did not do Hijiri that well. So I change the last few part of chapter one. I also try to fix some of the misspells. I also given an sneak at what the next few chapter will be about in the beginning of the chapter. I hope you guys will like it! Sorry again for the late update.
Chapter 2: The end of the old laws and an beginning of an new age
(Arata POV)
"...hey, can someone explain to me why I am here again?"
I ask with an blank look my eyes as people past us by. Today I decide to put on an black zipper Jacket and dark blue pants. On my neck was an small black book with an chain on top. From what it told me, is my grimoire, "Astil Manuscript" or what Hijiri call it, "Sora".
My question was directed to a girl who is seated next to him, who also was looking around at the airport and had an visible frown on her youthful face.
The girl look to be 14 or 15. She had mostly short blond hair around her head with her bangs swept to both sides. A portion of the back is much longer, reaching all the way to her back legs. She had a small red ribbon tied to the right side of her hair. She had on a white and blue sundress.
Over all, if an normal person look at her and was ask what they think, they would probably say that she an cute, normal ever day girl, going on an vacation with her brother or a boyfriend(which she would certainly reject with a passion).
However, despite appearances, she is one of the top 'mage' at 'Biblia Magic Academy' and also one of the head of an organization name 'Grimoire Security'. From what they told me about their organization, it their job is to deal with mages that have lost control of their magic and cause magical disastrous call 'Breakdown Phenomenon.'"
It was 7am in the morning. We were sitting in an airport in Japan while waiting for Akio to come back with the plane tickets. People were walking by us and talking about going to the beach or visiting an family member from out of state or an going to a business trip.
Mira Yamana light purple eyes scan around the airport as the people pasting them by. She let out a sigh when she heard my question. She look up at me with a annoy expression on her face.
"Don't ask my that, I not the one who wanted you on this mission. In fact, I just as annoy with this situation as you are." Mira replied dryly. I frown slightly.
"If you didn't want me here why take my in the first place?"
"Well we weren't going to in the first place, at least until that troublesome headmaster come along..."
Mira sign with annoy expression as though she is use to it. I blink slightly and remember the appear of the white hair principal that I met few days back.
"You talk like you're used to it."
"You don't know the half of it, if it wasn't for miss Lilith and the headmistress, I sure the headmaster would have scared away all the students with his antics.
She muttered under her breath so quietly that I could barely hear her.
"There was even an time when he gone so far as to cause an rebellion with all the other male students in the school to try to spy on the girls in the hot spring. I have never seen an an 'paladin' so scared of an lecture before, though I doubt he never seen an angry Lilith." Mira seem to unconsciously shudder at the memory. I look at her in surprise.
"Really? You mean the gorgeous girl who somehow is an teacher even though we the same age? I don't know her that well, but she seem to be the kind of person to get embarrass then anger at someone." I say with an small smile remember the flustered red hair teacher.
When I back at Mira, she frown slightly and give me an wryly look. I have a feeling like I say something wrong but didn't know what.
"What, did I say something wrong?" I ask with confuses. Mira look at me for an moment then shook her head.
"Not really. It just that in all my experience with her, I never seen her so flustered before is all. She would usually be cold and professional, you could say that because of her 'thema'. Still, I went on several mission with her and I can safely say that she one of the best mage I seen in terms of efficiency mage. In a way, she might be the ideal 'mage'."
"She doesn't seem that way to me."
"It true you and an ability to make most people off guard with what you do, I suppose."
"Hey you two, I back."
Both of us look toward the voice that interrupted them. A attractive look girl walk toward them with three plane tickets in hand as she call out to them.
The teen had long black hair that wave up and down behind her as she move. She had a similar looking ribbon as Mira tied on the right side of her hair. She was wearing her usual clothes on. She had a long revealing white shirt that exposes her large cleavage(I noted that it was not as large as Lilith). She had a long dark skirt with double slits revealing the both sides of her legs and a pair of dark slip-on shoes.
She walk toward us with confident strides and a cheerful smile on her beautiful face. Hey coffee color eyes lit up with amusement. She instantly draw the attention of every male and, even some of the people of the same gender, toward her natural beauty.
Her name is Akio Fudo. The second seat of Grimoire Security and Mira partner. In terms of raw power, she was an monster that was second to none in Biblia grimoire security.
Mira let out an annoy sigh when she saw the attention Akio was attracting.
"While I can't denied the benefits of modem transportation, I really wish Akio wouldn't attract so much attention. Though it probably because of those "melons..."
Mira mumbled quiet while look at Akio chest with jealous.
Maybe I can ask Akio or Miss Lilith about them later on once we finish this mission. There has to be some kind of formula to make them so...so big. Maybe some kind of spell that increase growth? Could the rumor of milk helping you grow true?
She torn her jealous eyes away from Akio "melons" and look back at me. One of Mira eyes begin twitch when she saw the pervy smile on my face. Of Couse I doesn't see her. I was...occupied.
"Whow not bad. That skirt show those tone legs and that shirt give a look view, though it still not as good as Lilith. I still give it a solid 9 out of 10."
I grin at the beauty. I expected nothing less from one of the top ten Beauties in the school, I wonder what rank Hijiri would be.
Right afterword my thought, I felt an unnatural chill crawl down my spine. Sweat started to run down my body like bullets. The blood lust fill the air around us with a thick dark aura. Slowly, very slowly, I turn around and look at Mira face.
I gulp.
Mira eyes were shallow by her blonde hair her hand. An pitch black aura surround her body that could freeze even the most hardened of criminals. I unconsciously step back from the intense blood lust.
"H-hey now, what with that cold look in your eyes!?" I ask as I quickly scan around for an escape route. She continue to coldly glare at me for few more second then close her eyes and sign.
"I think I have made an mistake, I apologies from not taking responsibility and letting the headmaster talking us into letting you coming with us. That was irresponsible of me as an head of Grimoire security."
Mira apologies to me and slowly bow her head apologetically, yet I felt every single hair on my body stand up.
This isn't good, Mira give off the same aura hijiri does when she mad! Got find an way out!
"T-thank you, I guess?"
"I have been far to lenient to not just have eliminate you the second you sent your impure foot on Biblia. So forgive me, I shall now correct my wrongs."
"What kind of apologies is that!?"
"So what are you two talking about? Is it something to do with the mission we got from HQ?" Akio casually interrupted blood bath that was about to happen.
I immediately thank Akio in my head and promise to repay her later. I follow her lead.
"Yea, I get that both of you two are going, but I still don't get why you drag me with you two."
Mira continued to look at me for few more seconds and sign and explain it to me again.
"Like we told you last night, we were contact by our HQ that, apparently some group of mage manage to break into the Royal Akasha Academy vault and took some rare artifacts."
"ohh, You don't mean Akasha Academy, 'one of the three great magic school' that on par with Biblia? I heard from Hijiri that of the three magic school it has the strongest wards and magical defenses. Not only that, don't they have an 'Paladin' like the other two? Though, I did hear that she just recently become one."
I heard an confident voice echo out. The voice came from my grimoire on my neck. I saw Mira look at the grimoire with slight distrust in her eyes but nod.
"That correct."
"They must be very confident in their abilities then, to attack an the domain of an Paladin. It neither that or their just idiot who have no idea who they dealing with."
"That why we of grimoire security need to find out who did it and if they are an threat, then we have to I eliminate them. To manager to break into Akasha in the first place is concerning in it own right." Mira spoke those words with an troubled look. "I only know of two or three people in Grimoire security that could possibly get though the wards of Akasha undetected, and one of them is an head of security who monitor Akasha Academy like me."
"If that the case, shouldn't we let them take care of their own mass? I don't see why we need to get involved with it."
"You normally right, it not our place to deal with an magic theft, however just like you said. They would have to be very confident in their magic or have some kind of weapon to think of challenge an base of an paladin and other high class mages. While not normally for us to intervene, we would rather eliminate them if needed before they could become to much of an threat. And some of the artifacts they stole could do just that. So HQ requested our assistance in this matter to get rid of the thief and take back the artifacts."
I couldn't help but get a little cold at how easily she spoke of taking someone live. Though, look at both Akio and Sora, neither of them seem to think anything of it.
I guess that one of the different of an mage and normal person huh.
I unconsciously frown and thought about his cousin.
Has hijiri ever kill someone before?
I wonder how much other thing I didn't know about Hijiri. Before I could dive deeper into thought, Akio voice cut though.
"From the report, one of the mage that broke in had use magic that was of Greek origin."
Course, it could just be an diversion so they can mask their real magic, but it can never be bad to check. So we, as inspectors along with few other trained inspectors at 'Royal Akasha Academy', will be going to the Greek mage HQ in Greece to see if they known anything about the break in."
"Ok, I get that this is serious mission, but if that the case why am I here? I just found out about all this magic stuff few day ago and I still don't fully get half of it. Wouldn't the headmaster ask someone like Lilith or the ninja?"
"Now that would be an question we all would you to know the answer."
Mira was the one to answer with an frown and look at me like I was an puzzle she didn't have the pieces for.
"Before we gone into the mission, the headmaster call us in and request us to take you with us for some reason. Something about learning first hand and thing like that."
"Though, if I think about it, this certainly sound like something the that headmaster would do just to make an mission more 'interesting'. Though I am a little curious what he could have told Miss Lilith that would make her allow you into a mission like this. He is always troublesome when he like this." Mira sign.
"Really? Does he usually just spend student off to mission like this?"
Arata ask them with an eyebrow rise. Akio scratch the back of her head and let out an small chuckle.
"Not really. At least, not like this. Usually, he doesn't really get involved with our job as inspectors, so this is an new one. Though, we are talking about an 'Paladin', so he probably as an reason to send you with us."
"Though, there nothing you should worry about. You are going with two trinity seven level mage and few high class mage from Royal Akasha Academy. So everything will be ok, probably."
"Hey, what was that last part?"
"That enough you two, it time we leave, we can continue speaking on the plane. After all, we don't want to keep the other inspectors waiting." Mira said as the speaker call they plane number.
Akio shrug and put up her bag as Arata did the save thing. As they were catching up to Mira, Arata started to recall how he got to this point.
(Few Days earlier)
The second Akio open the door to the roof, she, along with the door, was immediately hit by a powerful blest of intense magic energy that blow her off the roof and slammed though the building across the street and several more.
The one who fire said blest was no other than the sliver hair grimoire known as 'Astil Manuscript' or what her previous master call her, 'Sora'.
This is what happen when just casually walk into a battleground carefree. Sora pause and let out an small, amuse, smirk. She stool up from her kneeing position. Though you could say the same thing with me too. 'Ilia' always get annoy at me for that.
Sora though to herself with an calm smile looking at where she blest the mage away. Calculating how long she had before the mage recovery and return when an calm voice call out.
"So are you the one who started this disastrous?"
Sora turn her eyes back toward the voice at the doorway. The voice was from an young looking girl that just walk out of the roof door after Sora blest the other mage away.
She has short blond hair and was wearing a black school uniform that was under a white cape around her back. Her purple eyes glaring at Sora. A small white crystal in her glow in her right hand(which Sora wager was her grimoire or some kind of magic equipment). From what Sora could tell from the girl magical energy, she has decent amount of magical energy. Easily on the level of an B or A rank mage.
"Ohh, how cold. Even when your partner got blest off a roof, you not even a bit worry. You mages are truly uncaring." Sora teasing said with a smile.
The mage eyes look at Sora with coldness that could have frozen any lesser human, however Sora was not so easily intimidated nor was she an human.
"It will take far more power then what you did to be able to hurt Akio." The mage respond confidently back at Sora.
"Well now, my feeling are hurt." Sora said in response with the same teasing tone. So the other mage name is Akio huh, I will keep that in mind.
"I will ask once more, are you the once who is causing this Breakdown Phenomenon?" The mage say coldly, getting right to the point once more. Sora smile at the mage looking like she did not have a care in the world.
"And what if I am? What are you going to do about it, Mage?"
"I will have to eliminate you." The mage say without any hesitate. "I can not allow a impure person who cause "Breakdown" to continue to exist."
"I take it your from some kind of organization sent to stop the Breakdown then?"
"You are correct. I am from "Grimoire security" in Biblia Academy. I am Mira Yamana."
"Well seeing as you give out your name, it wouldn't be polite of me to not do the same now would it? I am name 'Astil Manuscript'. And that boy over there would be my master."
Sora answer with a smile. Mira look at the unconscious Arata then Sora with a frown.
"Astil Manuscript...an legendary grimoire from the old age?"
"Yours truly. You have heard of my name and that I am an legendary grimoire, so dose that mean you have information on the that war." Sora smile and narrow her eyes slightly. "I little curious how many your Organization know about it."
"...Then I take it you're master and you were the one who cause the Breakdown?" Ask Mira changed the subject and avoid the question.
Sora shrug and explained.
"Yes, but only to an certain extent. It true that his magic was response for creating this Breakdown, but that was because of our carelessly on our part. To put it blunt, my master know basically nothing of magic." Sora pause and thought herself. "Well aside from those in anime and what not."
"Are you saying that an normal human storage enough magical energy to create a breakdown on this level?" Mira ask with an hint of disbelief in her voice.
"Well, I wouldn't exactly call him an "normal" human and beside, I heard you at Biblia Academy have one of the most powerful mage in the "Cardinal class". But, first before we continue, haven't you not noticed something interesting while we been having our little chat?" Sora ask the Grimoire security mage with a knowing smile.
Mira kept silence for a few second and slowly look up at the sky, specifically, where the core of the Breakdown Phenomenon, black sun is. She ask with an frown on her face.
"Did you somehow stabilize the Breakdown?"
"Bingo, I manage to stabilize the breakdown for now. I say it will stay that way for another forty minutes or an hour before it completely stabilize. So do you know what that mean, mage? Sora smile when Mira turn back to her with her frown.
"I see, so you're basically threated us by saying if we kill your master, you will lose your connect to your source of energy and will in turn lose your hold on the breakdown? That is what you implying, right?"
Mira narrow her eyes at Sora while ask her question.
"Yep! That basely it. I don't see much problem with this. Your job is to stop the Breakdown and minimize the damage done by the breakdown as much as possible." Of course Sora wouldn't actually do that unless she absolutely needed to, but the mage didn't need to know that does she?
"So if you let us go then I promise that I will keep the Breakdown stabilize until it disappeared. If you're still don't trust me, I don't mind making an contract just to be sure. Not a bad deal, don't you think?" Sora ask the mage with a casual smile.
"I suppose if you really are a legendary class grimoire, you should be able to do something like this and your request sound reasonable. However, I will still have to refuse your offer."
Mira barely shook her head has she denied Sora offer instantly after Sora made it.
"I see."
Sora accepted her response easily, though she had an curious look.
"May I know your reason for refuse, at least."
"Firstly, is mistakenly believe we need your help to stop the breakdown."
"While this Breakdown is stronger then a normal one, we can still stop it by either eliminating your master or just get rid of it ourselves. The former will be the easier and safer option. We proved that we can effect the breakdown when I manger to slow it down earlier. While it bit more difficult then normal, it still manageable."
The second reason is that while you may have stop him this time from complex destroy the city, the half of the entire populate of this city was still 'erase' even after I slow the breakdown. You yourself is equally a monster as he is. Manger to not only effect an breakdown but even completely shut it down. That not even talking about the information that you have of the old age of magic. Both of you are threats that I will not risk have running loose in the world. My 'duty' as an member of Grimoire security will simple not let me do so."
Mira said calmly explained.
Sora was silent of few minute and tense rose in the air between the two magic users. The silent was broken by Sora.
"You maybe right, I won't deny you that my master and I may well be a threat, but as long as no one endanger either of us, I doubt this will happen again. Beside, I was left here by my master has insure in case I need stop him from losing control."
"And why should I trust your master words? You said so yourself didn't you? Wasn't it your previous master and you mistake that cause this in the first place. I have no reason to put my trust in your master or you."
"Beside, do you have any proof that you can stop him next time? For all we know, the next time he lose control, it will be more then an city, maybe even a whole country will be effect before you or an another organization stop him. Can you tell me with certainty that you can stop him even time there maybe an chance he lose control, if so, then I will willingly allow both of you to leave and will call off any pursuit from Grimoire Security at Royal Biblia."
Sora pause and thought about Mira question for an long minute and sign.
"If he loses control again, I am confident that I can prevent it from getting to far, however thing would change if other mage were to get involved." Sora calmly stated. "Even if I trust your word that none of your mages come after us, I doubt other organization will just sit quietly now that they know my master exist. And that not saying anything about the Grimoire Security at Royal Liber Academy and Royal Akasha Academy."
"Then will you surrender?"
Sora scoff at Mira question.
"As tempted as that offer is, I have an promise to keep, so I am afraid I will have to deny your offer." Sora told Mira without any hesitation in her voice.
"I see" Mira reply was simply and cold. She did not hesitation. The air around Mira seen to shimmer as intense magic energy gather in her hand. Even Sora, an legendary grimoire, felt chill down her back at the magical energy that now fill the air on the roof of the school. "Then I will have to take him out by force."
Hijiri has told me to be careful if I run into this particular organization. An organization that will eliminate anyone who is an thereat that could destroy the world even if they didn't mean to do so. Sora thought to herself. Though, to be fair, most mage out there are like that, even in the past, I suppose.
"As much as I would like to fight with you, I really don't have the time." Sora said with an smile.
Before Mira could use any of her spells, dozens of runes symbols appear in the air surrounding Mira from all sides. They begin to glow brightly with energy. Each one of the runes has equal destructive power of an grenade.
Sora summon magic into her legs and tense her body to dash toward Arata the second the runes explode. However...
"Did you think something on this level will stop me?"
A cold and confident voice cut though the air. The runes that surround Mira that were seconds to explode, seem to have froze and in disintegrated as if it was an mirages.
Sora felt suddenly felt as if electricity ran though her whole body. Freezing her place.
A paralyzing spell?! Sora thought as she gritted her teeth. She pour magic into her body to try to break free from the spell, but was far to slow.
Mira crystal ball glow as bright as an white sun. Magic energy in the air was getting absorb into the grimoire. And all of it was released an second later.
Blinding white light fill Sora vision as intense magical energy that slammed into her with the force that could break an armor car in half. Sora was immediately throw off the roof and across the city in seconds. breaking though an few building on her away as well.
Right after that, Mira felt all her magic energy drain away from her. Mira fell to her knees as sweat ran down her face. She work to try to regain her breathing when she hear a voice in her head.
"Boss you ok? I felt a surge of magical energy just now." A concern voice echo in Mira mind. Despite her body feeling as though it just ran a marathon, Mira couldn't help but have a small smile.
"I fine, though, I may have over do it use both "White Castling" and using "White Universe" right after slowing down an breakdown on this level may have been a little arrogant of me..." said Mira quietly with an bitter look. "Though, I was in luck that she did not notice that I was analyze her magic. If she had, I wouldn't have the chance to use 'White Castling'. It might take me a while to be able to stabilize my magic. At least, to the point where I won't run an risk of absorbed be the breakdown if it start again. Sorry Akio, but can I leave the Grimoire to you, Akio?"
"No problem boss. I take care of it. Just make sure you don't overdo it." Say Akio in a cheerful tone yet Mira could hear an trace of concern in Akio voice. Mira felt the connect broke off from her mind. She let out a tired sign and an silent thank you to her partner. She felt some happiness about Akio concern for her, even if it sometime unnecessary.
Mira silently walk 10 feet across of the still unconscious Arata. She slowly sit down and lean her back on the wall wall and look at Arata with a unreadable look before calmly close her eyes. Her grimoire glow softly as magic slowly fill the air around Mira, slowly recover her magic...
Sora let out a small groan of annoyance as she slowly got up from Mira attack. She look around for an second at the street she landed in. Sora immediately notice the holes in the building that she smash though.
Well now, I'm certainly not paying the property damage. Sora linger on the thought for a few more moment then back to the mage. Though I little annoy at that mage though. What kind of spell did she hit me with anyway?
Sora felt has if her whole body was in complete disarray from that one attack. The magic that is flowing in her body was completely jumbled up and was disorientated. If she had been a normal grimoire, she would have been immediately reverted back into her original form. Sora close her eyes as she try to clam her magical body down and take back control.
Regardless, I underestimated that mage, if "Ilia" was here she would probably give me lecture for letting my guard down like that. Though, that what happen when you haven't fought against nothing more cone fold for an year or two.
Sora pause in her thoughts as she felt an another magical source near by. Sora turn to see someone walking down the streel toward her.
The girl had long black hair and coffee color eyes. She was wearing a white long sleeved button-up shirt that exposes her cleavage, stomach and navel, a long dark skirt with double slits revealing the both sides of her legs and a pair of dark slip-on shoes. She had a cheerful smile on her face as if she was just going for a jog. Sora instantly noticed the larger magical energy coming from the girl.
This day is just keep getting better and better isn't it? First Arata losing control of his magic and now two high level mage arrival at the exact time when he lost control. Sora thought sarcastically. How about you throw in an Paladin next why don't you.
The mage wave toward Sora and smile.
"Yo. Sorry for being later for the party, that attack of your had quite a punch to it. Even with my "Enchant", I couldn't fully negate the damage. Been an while since I got hit by an attack like that. You don't mind if I repay the favor, right?" Akio ask with a playful smile.
"I flatter, but I made a promises to my former master to protect him, so I just have to get though you and deal with the girl." Sora said with more confident then she felt. Whatever that other mage hit me with, it completely throw the magic in my body to an loop. It will take me more then an few minutes to fully recover, so I won't be able to use any large spell that would require a lot of magic.
Instead of being worry, the mage smile seem to wide slightly. Her eyes shine with excitement.
"Unfortunately that be an problem. I got my order from boss as well, and I don't feel like failing her today, so I will be stopping you."
"That and I never fought a legendary grimoire before. Your magical energy from what I can tell isn't bad. Maybe even nearing the level of the "Trinity seven"."
Sora rise her eyebrows at the mage excitement then ask.
"Don't tell me your one of those idol Hijiiri was telling me about, who who enjoy fighting and nothing else." Sora ask with an amused smile.
Akio chuckle at Sora remark and shrug.
"Well in Biblia I have be call a battle maniac before, even by boss sometimes. Oh by the way, my name is Akio Fudo and second seat of Biblia Grimoire security. Nice to meet you.
Sora smile at Akio introduction, yet her eyes look at Akio with weariness.
This girl is different from the other one. Sora narrowed her eyes at the smiling mage. That other mage, Mira, is dangerous and all that, considering what she manage to do to my magic body, but this girl is different. Even after being hit one of my strongest concentrated magic attack, She this carefree. Even the Mira girl was at least weary of me. Is she that confident in her strength?
"I heard rumors that legendary class grimoire are normal wield by heroes of the past or mage on the Cardinal class or above." Akio smile a challenging smile. "You don't mind if I check if those rumors have any truth them, do you?"
"As much as I would like to." Sora said with an smile but snap her finger, four blue color magic circle the size of tire wheels appear above her and glow dark blue. "I am quite busy right now."
The magical circle glow and fire dozens of magical blast of energy toward the Grimoire security mage. The magical energy roar with enough power to blow down an steel door toward Akio. Certainly, this is nothing compare to the first attack Sora use on Akio, but it wasn't supposed to be. Sora goal wasn't to win, it was to get back to her master before Mira could recover. This attack was nothing more than an distract even if it could only buy her few seconds.
However Akio did not even give Sora that. She casually dodge the attack with ease and cross the distance between them in less then an second. Her right leg flash with blue character glow to upper-kick Sora. The grimoire barely lean back in time as the kick sail inch's above Sora face.
Sora summon two magic circle behind her to fire out magic blast at Akio, who instead of jumping back, step into Sora space preventing Sora from firing. Akio pull back and throw dozens of punch's at Sora which she barely managed to avoid. Sora clench his teeth as just before one of Akio punch's could reach her, an huge amount of magical energy burst out of her Sora body, Akio eyes wide as black magical wind torn though there surroundings. However, even against those winds, Akio was able slowly push though. She manage to get an few step though the roaring winds before being sent flying as Sora expelled even greater magical magic energy.
However, even that only managed to phase for a few seconds as Akio slammed her foot into the ground and rotate and flew back to Sora with magic enchantments. However few seconds were more then enough for the legendary grimoire. However...
As before, it was never Sora intention to win this fight. She only needed an second...
Sora focus magical energy into her legs as she kick the ground as hard as she could. Dust exploded in the air between Akio and Sora just before she could reach Sora. Dust blinding Akio vision as her fist miss it mark. Sora rocket away from her and into an nearby building. Sora angled her feet toward the building seconds before she could crash into it.
An magic circle appear on the area of the building while Sora was seconds away from crash into it. Even an 'normal' 'Cardinal Class'mage would have trouble keeping up this level of magic up for this long. So the time has finally come. Thing are begin to get very interested now. I wonder, will the world of Magic reject you and see you as threat that has to be destroyed or will it see you as someone that will lead it into a new age of magic? Will you be swallowed by the darkness of the mage world and lose yourself or will you surpass all of it and reach a high that could even rival the "Arbitrator" themselves.
The headmaster shown a smile that only few have even seen as he thought of what will happen in the future. I look forward to see if my research will bear fruit.
Soooo, what did you guy think of the chapter? I hope it was enjoyable. I apologize ones again for the late chapter. I change an few thing in the story as well. Notably the importance of Grimoire Security which I will be exploring more of in the future chapter. I will also be exploring more on the other two Academy and what their importance are going to be in the future. Warning though, there will be an decent amount of OC in my story considering we barely see any other character from the other Academy. Though, I will try to keep the main story focus on the main character. I apologize to the people who dislike that.
As for Arata harem... At this point I not too to sure. I want to try to make the pairings as realistic as possible. So as of right now, I not too sure, but I do know which people I considering putting into the harem right now.
