Will was there in the ICU connected to various machines. He was also still intubated, breathing on his own, but Rhodes had decided to leave the tube to allow his body to recover,
Hours later he began to wake up. He was terrified. He still had his eyes closed and he felt something annoying in his throat that did not allow him to breathe on his own or swallow.
What the hell?
What happened?
He remembered nothing.
His heart started beating fast, he was choking and fighting what he had in his throat.
The machinery surrounding him seemed to have gone mad and all the alarmed doctors ran to him.
Even Rhodes, who was in pieces and barely standing up, was called to order by those annoying sounds.
- Will please, don't play any more tricks on me - the latter thought.
Connor was trying to prepare himself for whatever he might find in the room.
Meanwhile they had come to Will April and Meggie and while waiting for the arrival of a doctor they were trying to calm him down.
- Will quiet, you're in the hospital. You just have the tube in your throat that helps you breathe. Try to calm down, "Lockwood said.
Nothing, the request had no effect.
In fact, it had increased his heart rate even more and Halstead was still choking.
Will was moving frantically, trying to pull everything away with his arm and hand that wasn't attached to the IV.
Maggie walked over and took his hand firmly, but sweetly. She blocked it to prevent him from getting hurt by talking to him calmly.
April then went to the other side and began to fix the IV which was coming down too slowly.
The doctor tried to free himself, to force himself against whoever was holding him back.
His body, however, despite the painkillers, protested making him feel very strong pain.
He suddenly opened his eyes and the expression of panic could easily be read in them. It was at that moment that Connor arrived.
