10 days later Ryuichi hadn't heard anything from murasaki at all and wondered what happened to her, later he did hear from the principal that she dropped out of school and wondered why she hasn't told him that she was going to leave school or at least called him, one day when he was suiting up for his basketball game he met up with murasaki when he left out of the locker room
"Hey Rio, what's up?"
She asked with a wave as he dropped his cellphone on the ground and pulled her into a hug
"Where have you been, I've been worried sick about you! You've been gone for 10 days I thought... I thought I'd never see you again"
He said he pulled her close while holding onto her, she apologized to him but that didn't matter as he was just happy to see her again. She pulled away from the hug I looked up at Rio as he knew that she wanted to tell him something
"I'm sorry Ryuichi but it looks like I'm moving away"
"What do you mean moving away, where are you moving to?"
"Somewhere far away... It was my mother's idea to plan this actually I'm sorry but I can't say that we'll ever see each other again"
She said apologizing to him and that's when he shouted out
"I know your secret, I know you're a mermaid and I don't care I still love you "
He shouted as Murasaki's eyes widened when hearing him say that, she didn't know how she was supposed to respond to this.
"I love you... murasaki"
He said as he was trying to kiss her but she stopped him
"I can't... I'm sorry. But thank you for accepting me, at first I was afraid that you wouldn't but I had no idea you already knew"
"I knew that the first time that I heard you sing, and when seeing that mysterious figure at night I just put two together and began to fall in love with you even more... Please don't leave me. I won't tell anyone."
"I'm sorry Rio but this is just how it's supposed to be... You're an amazing boyfriend, and you opened me up to a whole new light, I promise I will never forget you"
She said giving him a kiss on his cheek and started to walk away, he knew that he could go after her but he knew where she was going he could not follow.
All the mermaid princesses returned back to their castles as it was all restored, on some days they would meet up with each other for parties and get together and other things like that
Crissy went to Miami with her boyfriend and Stephanie headed to Orlando with her boyfriend when she told him about her secret. As for murasaki and Gaito, they stood hand to hand with each other on the beach as the sun began to set
"Ready to head back and become the new ruler of the sea with me?"
She asked him he looked at her
"I thought you said you wanted to take a trip to Germany?"
"And here I thought you would forget. Forget the throne, off to Germany we go!"
She said giggling as she pulled him into the ocean as the two of them dived in, underneath the water they were Riding in Gaito new floating castle that was rebuilt by aqua Regina, they were given their blessing and could live together forever as the two stood on the balcony side by side happy about their choices and happy to be reunited, One last kiss was shared with the two before the castle vanished within the ocean
