Meanwhile, time passed and it became dark, Jay, Will and Natalie were all three in the hospital, each in his bed, all three trying to recover from their accidents.
From time to time someone had visited them, Meggie and the other doctors often went to check on their friends.
Dr. Manning would be discharged the following morning if her condition remained unchanged. For the two brothers, however, the problems were greater and they were forced to spend more time there in the structure.
The night, however, passed relatively quietly for all three.
In the morning Natalie was discharged with a request for absolute rest for at least two weeks.
But she didn't intend to leave until she saw how Will was doing. She had to talk to him about what had happened. It was important for her to tell her that she still loved him.
Once she was ready, Meggie accompanied her to the doctor's room. It was a blow to her heart to see him there so pale and worn out.
The doctor walked over to the bed and her eyes filled with tears even as she tried to restrain herself. She stayed by her side for about fifteen minutes until she was forced to leave by doctors and nurses.
- Will please don't give up, I need you. I love you - she said before letting go of her hand and walking away.
- Meggie please, inform me of everything that happens. Natalie asked, turning to her friend.
- Only about Will? she replied
- Sure, and on who else? - Manning answered doubtfully
"I thought you wanted news of Jay too," Lockwood said
- Jay? What's he got to do with him now? "Natalie asked
So the nurse informed the unsuspecting doctor about what had happened, leaving her stunned. She didn't know Will's brother was hospitalized too, and finding out why she was left speechless.
Shortly thereafter, Manning was forced to go home, after convincing Maggie to have her call to talk to Will as soon as she was strong enough and stable enough to talk.
The doctor was also sure that she would soon be back in the hospital to be close to her love.
But what she did not know was that Will had listened to her words and knowing what she had told him had given him even more strength to fight and fully recover.
