Jay from his bed, keeping his eyes closed and then pretending to be asleep, continued to listen to the speeches of his two colleagues.
With the head trauma he had it wasn't always easy to follow, he was still tired and confused.
But he was sure of one thing, they were talking about his brother and he absolutely had to see him.
They could definitely help him, so he thought it was time to wake up.
But it was easier said than done. It was easier to be overcome by sleep than to open your eyes.
And that was exactly what happened.
The detective finally let himself go and fell asleep again.
Judging by the fact that Antonio and Hailay were still there Jay didn't sleep long.
The problem was, however, that this time the detective was so confused.
He went through short stretches of lucidity and larger ones of confusion.
- Will ... Will, - he called
- Jay stay calm it's us Antonio and Hailey.- Dawson replied.
It was clear the detective's need to see his brother.
He was afraid, he was terrified of the hospital and he felt abandoned. Only to face his fate. Whatever happened usually had the unconditional support of his brother. Now it wasn't like that, he wasn't by his side and Jay didn't understand why. He didn't remember much about Will's accident
He could not imagine at that moment that his brother was fighting as much as he did to save himself.
Will, on the other hand, was lying in bed motionless, he had to recover the necessary energy to go back to being what he was before.
The more the days passed, however, the more he felt alone. Natalie hadn't gone to see him yet. But he knew that it is not that she did not want to, but that she was not possible given the accident and having to rest. Certainly Karol and Helllen controlled it.
A different speech, however, could have been made for his brother.
- Jay why aren't you here? You left me alone...-
The two brothers were looking for each other unaware of what had happened to them.
