This is when Perry feels comfortable enough to introduce Aurora to his family, Bekah, Finian, his siblings, Ken, and Paul Jr – along with Gabby and Morgan.
Aurora and Perry had gone on a few dates since that first dinner they had together and Perry was feeling more confident that maybe it was time to take Aurora home to meet his family.
Aurora knew he had three younger siblings but she'd never seen him with his family, so she was curious as to how that would all go down.
"Nervous, Aurora?" Perry asked as she looked to him with a gentle smile, they were due in court soon.
"A little, I mean I've met your parents and Uncles Ken and Paul. But, what do your siblings think of me?" Perry laughed softly,
"Holly was so excited when she found out that you had said 'yes' on our first date." Aurora smiled,
"She's your baby sister right?" Perry nodded,
"Her and Phillip are twins, its me, Elena, and then the twins. Elena's going to love you as well." Aurora nodded as they walked into the court room before sharing a gentle kiss.
Once court was dismissed for the day,
"Are you trying to make me look bad?" Perry joked as they met up in the parking lot as Aurora flashed her signature smile,
"No, at least I don't think so. I hope I'm not distracting you." Perry laughed,
"You're not. Although I think some of the members of the jury might be distracted by you." Aurora blushed but laughed, nonetheless.
"I'll see you tomorrow around 3?" Perry asked as Aurora nodded and they kissed before leaving,
"See you tomorrow then."
When Perry walked into the beach house,
"So, how'd it go today?" Phillip asked as they sat on the balcony,
"It didn't go as planned but Aurora's coming over tomorrow for dinner." Phillip nodded,
"You love her, don't you? I hear how you talk about her." Perry nodded,
"Yes, I do love her. I think she loves me, too." Phillip nodded,
"I can't wait to meet her."
The next morning,
Aurora and Perry both woke at the same time. Clearly excited for the day that was ahead of them.
"Mama, do you need help with anything?" Perry asked as he walked into the kitchen seeing Bekah at the kitchen table looking over notes for her current case as she looked up with a smile,
"No, Perry. But thank you for asking." Perry's smile fell for a little bit as Bekah moved to hug him,
"I know, sweetie. Grandma Della would've loved to meet Aurora too. Same with your Grandpa Perry." Perry folded and cried softly as Bekah held him close.
"Why don't you go for a walk along the water, alone, and come back in an hour?" Perry nodded,
"OK, see you in an hour Mama."
Once everything was all set for Aurora's arrival and she knocked on the door,
"Hi, come in!" Perry said with a bright smile as she walked in,
"What a lovely home." Aurora said with a smile as Holly and Phillip walked up as she smiled,
"You two must be Holly and Phillip. Your brother's told me all about you." Bekah, Finian, Ken, and Paul Jr were watching from the wings – making sure that Aurora had a chance to meet Elena and the twins without their interference.
Once Aurora got to know Elena and the twins and dinner was consumed,
"Your family is one of the nicest families I've ever known. They're much nicer than my family in Utah." Aurora grew up in Salt Lake City and she had told Perry that she was glad to get out of her hometown.
"How bad is it when it comes to the distance you've created between you and your family?" Perry asked gently as Aurora sighed as tears began to form,
"We're estranged. That's how bad it is, Perry. My parents weren't too happy when I decided to become a District Attorney in LA, let alone my moving to LA was the last straw and that's when they cut me off entirely." Perry held Aurora close as she cried and he gently broached his next question,
"How long ago has it been since you've been back to your hometown?" Aurora looked to him,
"I left in 2015. It's been 3 years." Perry looked to Aurora,
"Since you met my family, I think perhaps if they see that you're dating me and that you're happy… Maybe they'll accept you into your family again." Aurora looked to Perry,
"You're a genius and a saint." Perry chuckled,
"Why am I a saint?" Aurora smiled,
"You're a saint for putting up with me in and out of court. I know that my behavior towards you hasn't really been all that stellar at times and yet you've remained awfully patient with me. You're so like your Grandmother. Yes, I've heard all about your Grandparents. Specifically, your Grandpa." Perry smiled as his cheeks began to turn a light crimson,
"Grandma Della and Mama both taught me well." They kissed gently and when they walked back into the beach house,
"Aurora, welcome to the family." Bekah said with a beaming smile as Aurora hugged the twins and Elena with smiles before Finian hugged her tightly,
"Thanks, Mom." Aurora said with a gentle smile as she looked at Bekah as Bekah smiled softly. Happy that her oldest had found the love of his life.
