I figured we'd have a chapter where it's focusing on the siblings and them trying to help Perry with his feelings towards Aurora. They all know he's in love with her and it's something that makes Bekah's heart swell as she had happened to overhear the end of the conversation and she makes her case as well.

"Hey, Perry. Is something wrong?" Elena asked as they sat around the hammock in the bottom deck as they watched the rain fall.

Perry had been a little quiet as of late and his siblings knew that it wasn't due to the case he was working on. It was Aurora.

"You see how Mama and Daddy are. They're so in love, and I think that's how it's like for you and Aurora." Holly said gently as Perry hugged her with a smile as he said,

"You're exactly like Grandma Della, Holly. Patient and you know all of us much better than we do." Holly blushed as she looked down before Phillip spoke up.

"I think you should make the next move, Perry. I saw how you looked at her when she was over for dinner." Elena looked to Phillip and nodded,

"I agree. Mama and Daddy seem to like her. Same with Uncle Paul and Uncle Ken." Perry nodded,

"But, I haven't met her family yet. And I know that's going to be a touchy subject for her. Her family cut her off when she moved to LA from Utah in 2015." The three siblings gasped and covered their mouths,

"We… oh, gosh. That's horrible." Elena whispered remembering being told about when she was born and how Bekah still let her know and be close to her own mother but she took a deep breath and said,

"Why don't you take her to Utah to meet her family? I think that would be something that would solidify your relationship and perhaps help bring her family back together." Perry hugged Elena tightly,

"You're a genius." Bekah had gone down to see how her kids were and if they wanted some tea to keep warm as they rode out the rainstorm. She happened to overhear Elena's suggestion to Perry as she smiled.

Elena was like her, always the one to suggest something that would potentially do some harm and also some good but the good always outweighed the bad.

As Holly, Phillip, and Elena walked back into the house… Bekah walked out and sat with Perry on the hammock and said with a gentle smile,

"Elena's right, you know that. I was going to suggest that sooner, but I think you're going to listen to her over me." Perry chuckled,

"Elena reminds me of you. Which is very welcoming in moments like these where I'm unsure of what to do." Bekah smiled with a blush,

"She actually reminds me of your Grandpa Perry." Perry looked to her and said,

"I miss him." Bekah nodded and snuggled her son close as they sat there looking at the stormy sea, listening to the thunder.

I hope you guys like this chapter, it was needed. A sibling heart – to – heart conversation.
