This is where Finian gives Perry his blessing and some advice on proposing to Aurora, seeing how in love they are.
"Perry, why don't we go for a walk?" Finian asked late one night as Perry was looking over notes for his current case against Aurora as Perry looked up and nodded,
"Sure, Dad." As they made it to the water,
"Are you considering proposing to her?" Finian jumped straight to the point as Perry looked up at his Dad,
"Dad… I mean… why ask?" Finian sighed,
"I see how you look at her, how you two act. It was that way with Mama and I." Perry sighed,
"I love her, honest to goodness I do. But with all that's happened with her Grandma Louise… It doesn't feel right to propose right now." Finian sighed,
"I proposed to your mother when we were seniors in college, and believe me. It was nerve wracking for me. I know how you feel." Perry looked to Finian and sighed,
"I just want to make her happy and I think proposing to her will do that. You see how happy we are together." Finian sighed,
"I know, son. I know. You've done all the right things since you came back from Utah and your mother and I commend you for doing so." Perry sighed as he looked to the water,
"I just want to take her pain away. Even though I know how much it hurts losing your Grandmother." Finian nodded,
"I can feel your Grandma Della's presence right now, she's trying to let you know how proud she is of you and she's also trying to tell you to go with your heart. If you want to ask Aurora to marry you… go ahead. She doesn't want you to be alone for the rest of your life." Perry nodded and hugged his father,
"Thanks, Dad. *he looked up with a smile* and thank you, Grandma Della." Finian smiled and looked up with his silent thanks to Della as they felt Della's hug around them as Perry began to cry softly.
