Well, holy crap it's been way too long since I have updated this but it is finally time for an end! Only a few chapters left and it'll be finished. I am planning on rewriting this in the current WWE/AEW environment so look forward to that!

Rob sighs holding his taped-up wrist.

"Are you sure Brad is okay?" Rob asks.

"He'll be fine. I'm more worried about you." Evan says

"I've gone through worse," Rob tells him.

"What is Ken planning?" Vince asks.

"Just trust me, he's got it covered," Rob says. "He's good at this type of stuff."

"I can tell. Why didn't we know he had a Ph.D.?" Vince asks.

"Because he didn't want anyone to know. It was honestly more of a backup for after he retired especially since he wasn't too good at acting but he was always good with people." Rob says. "So he decided to get his masters and Ph.D. while he was training still."

"He's a psychologist right?" Evan asks.

"Yeah, his specialties are Sports Psychology and trauma psychology. The trauma one was based on his childhood mainly. He sees people who have been raped, abused, attacked, been in war, or really any other trauma that you can think of." Rob says. He climbs off the trainer's table. "Now can we please go back to the prom?"

"Yeah, sure," Vince says. Evan is beyond curious as to what Rob meant by Ken's childhood but decided against asking about it. He barely even knew the guy. It was really a shame because he knew what a great guy he was from his father. Evan follows close behind Rob as they make their way into the gym again. Evan notices the group surrounding Sean Waltman. He walks over to the group.

"No, I'm saying this is the case in every single group that ever exists. Bands, stables, families." Sean says. "Remember that."

"So what are they?" Phil asks.

"There's the runt, the smallest member who can be different than the youngest, the youngest, the unexpected member, and the leader," Sean says.

"Unexpected member?" Mark asks.

"The one people don't realize how much they mean to them until they are in danger," Sean says. "Like for example Dean."

"You are joking right?" Evan asks.

"No, why?" Sean asks.

"It is obvious that Dean is the leader. I don't care what anybody says," Evan says.

"Roman is the leader!" Sean says.

"How about nobody is the leader?" Roman says. Sean looks at him confused. "Never heard of it, huh?"

"No! Whether you think there is a leader or not there is," Sean says.

Meanwhile with Ken, Paul, and Eric. They had stayed in silence for what seemed like well over 10 minutes.

"Why did you come back?" Eric asks.

"Why do you think?" Paul asks. Eric sighs folding his arms in front of him. "Eric, you just broke up with me, out of the blue, out of nowhere, didn't give me a reason, didn't explain. I still don't know. Do you know what that's like? Waking up every day blaming yourself for something you had no control over. You didn't let me plead my case, you just cast me out like...like those 10 years meant nothing to you." Eric looks at Paul seeing the hurt in his eyes.

"Paul, no. Those 10 years meant everything to me. They were precious. The truth of the matter is I was scared." Eric says.

"Scared of what?" Paul asks.

"Of settling down, of being in love again, of having my heartbroken...but most of all of losing you. I thought that letting you go would be better. That being alone would be better," Eric says. "I mean, our past was rocky as it is."

"True," Paul says laughing. "Kind of an off again on again relationship isn't it? And you still haven't gotten over the cheating."

"Kind of hard to get over," Eric says.

"Will you at least give me another chance? You owe me at least that," Paul says. "I promise I won't hurt you again."

"And I promise I won't hurt you again. I didn't realize just how much I was hurting you. I...I think part of me wanted to hurt you the way you hurt me but the truth is I was just too scared to confront you and tell you. I couldn't bear it. I was a coward," Eric says.

"Hey, that's all in the past now," Ken says. "Look to the present and the future."

"What did you mean I changed?" Paul asks.

"What? Just you aren't the same Paul I knew back then that's all, but you know come to think of it, maybe that's not a bad thing," Eric says.

"Why's that?" Paul asks.

"Because I get to get to know you all over again," Eric says. "It's time to let go of the past and I want to try and get to know you again. If you'll let me." Paul nods putting his hand on Eric's.

"It would be my pleasure," Paul says.
