John smiled over at me. "Do you wanna go out for lunch with me?" John asked me curiously as he smiled. "Sure I would love to." I told him as I smiled. "Alright, follow me." He smiled and got up then lead the way outside to a diner that was nearby.
We then got there and he opened the door and he let me go in first since I was a girl. "Thank you John." I said while walking in then he was now beside me. "You're welcome." He replied. He had taken off his jean jacket and put it on the back of the chair and waited with me at a table while waiting for a waiter to come and take our orders.
Later on a waiter walked over to us. "Hello I'm Nick I'll be your waiter this afternoon, what would you like?"He asked. "I'll have a chicken caesar wrap and a salad and to drink I'll have a strawberry milkshake." I replied. "Alright and you sir?" He questioned. "I'll have the same thing please and thank you." He said. The waiter nodded and said you're welcome then went to go get the food and brought the food back on a plate and set it down along with the drinks. "Enjoy." He says . "Thanks." We both said at the same time. "Welcome." He replied then left the table then we had both started eating our food and drinking our milkshakes after the waiter had left.
He finished chewing his food for a sec but wasn't done with what he had. "Man wow , this is really good." John said as he smiled while being suprised with how good it was. "I agree." I said as I smiled. "Milkshakes are really good too." John replied. "I agree with that too as well." I smiled.
The waiter walked back over to our table "How is it are you two enjoying it?" Nick asked. "Yes indeed it's pretty good." We both said at the same time. "That's good to hear." He replied back while smiling then left.
"Do you wanna pay or do you want me to when he comes back to the table next?" John asked. "You can if you want." I said as I finished my food and drink afterwards so did he. "Alright." He nods.
The guy came back over to our table and he had said how much the food cost along with the drinks so John had paid for it since he wanted to pay for the meal. "Enjoy the rest of your afternoon." Nick replied. "Will do and you too." We both said at the same time then we got up and left after John and picked up his jacket and put it back on.
