In Rory's first few days of Chilton, she had managed to make enemies, which to Victoria was not surprising at all. Victoria didnt even see her sister for the first few days because she was always in her room studying. "At this rate, we will see Rory when she graduates." Victoria said while sitting down with a bowl of popcorn in her hands. Lorelai laughed and turned to Victoria with a questioning look on her face, "How would you feel if I dated one of your teachers?" she asked. Victoria made a disgusting look on her face, "it depends who?" she asked. Lorelai laughed, "Well…" she started and Victoria grabbed her mothers arm, "You're not talking about Stars Hollow, youre talking about Chilton! Who do you have your eye on?" Victoria said, smiling. "Mr. Medina, Rory's English teacher." Lorelai confessed. Victoria nodded her head while chewing, "You're wondering how Rory will react, huh? You know she isn't going to like it at first, because she's still adjusting. However...she will get over it. If it was me, I wouldn't care. I'd help you get ready for the date even." She said with popcorn in her mouth. Lorelai patted her daughter on the head. "Make sure you swallow honey. But, thank you. I'm sure you're being the youngest you always act so much older than your sister" Lorelai said. "He hasn't asked me out yet, but just thinking about it. The probability." she continued. Victoria nodded and quickly tapped her hand onto her forehead. "Duh, forgot. Tomorrow!'' She started, "Liam is coming over to "meet you" so he can officially ask me out on a date. Please be nice." Victoria finished while she gave her mom her best puppy eyes. "Me? Always nice." Lorelai said.
The next day the Gilmore Girls were getting ready for their friday night dinner and Victoria was awaiting Liam to come over to receive Lorelai's blessing to ask her out on a date. Blessing? Threats? All the same in this household. Lorelai was putting on her lip gloss in the mirror while she heard Victoria, "Mom, he's here!" she smiled and yelled, "Coming!". Victoria opened the door and kissed Liam hello before her mother descended from the stairs. Rory was sitting on the couch, just waiting for the show to start. "Hi Lorelai, Hi Rory, you all look very nice this evening." Liam said. Lorelai held her arm out, "Come on in Liam, you've always been welcomed here. You know that." she said. They all sat down in the living room, Liam started to speak, "I'm ready to answer all questions, Lorelai, Rory." He took out chocolate for Lorelai and new bookmarks for Rory. "Bribery will get you everywhere my friend." Rory said, picking up the bookmarks. "You want to finally date my sister huh?" Rory said, chewing one of her mom's chocolates. Victoria rolled her eyes. Liam nodded, "Yes, I have had years to truly think about our future together, as friends, we've spent so much time together, I now feel mature enough to have your sister's heart and not break it. I know how to cherish her." Rory's mouth was open and Lorelai was frowning, "That was such a good answer," Lorelai said. "Liam, you know I love you. Always have. But dating Victoria is obviously different than being her friend. No being in her room with the door closed, curfew will be enforced, and I'll be paying extra close attention to you mister. You break my baby, I break you. You know this." Lorelai continued with a smile. Liam smiled too and held out his hand, "Oh, I know the rules. You got it." he said while smiling. Victoria clapped her hands. "Since that is settled, if you'll excuse us Liam, we have to get our Friday night dinner." Rory said while standing up.
At the end of the dinner Rory was driving home so Lorelai could continue to tell the girls about how badly she did not want to go to the club with them to golf. "I really don't know why I'm going, if I'm going to be on the swim team at Stars Hollow." Victoria said as she got out of the Jeep. Lorelai stopped talking, "Wait, you're really swimming. You're going to get your hair wet in the middle of the day?" she asked in terror. Rory also looked at her in shock, "Oh, shut it! Yes, I am. I'm tired of my routine. I want to shake it up. I also want to stay in shape." she said. Rory rolled her eyes, "Our metabolisms are so fast we should be studied. You don't have to worry about that." she said as they entered the house. The next day the girls were at the country club with their grandfather. Rory could not hit the ball for the life of her, but Victoria was actually really good. "Well done, Victoria!" Richard said proudly and looked over to Rory, "You're still doing marvelous, Rory!" he reassured the child. After their day at the club Rory headed over to the diner to continue her studies while Victoria headed over to the inn to continue to help with the Twin Wedding. She walked into the kitchen and Lorelai squealed as she saw one of her offspring, "OH, there's my brave girl! How was the club?" she said while hugging victoria. She laughed, "Hi mom, it wasn't that bad. I found out I'm good at golf, but Rory isn't. That was fun. But I don't plan on going ever again." she said while rolling her eyes, "What's next on the wedding list?" Victoria said while jumping in excitement. Lorelai put her arm over victoria and led her out of the kitchen.
Victoria and Lorelai head back towards the diner to meet Rory, where she was sitting with a book that Richard gave her and wearing the hat that Emily gave her.
