Regarding your request last night, I accepted it but under one condition!And what is that?..You must promise me that when you engaged day is over you must let me leaveI'd promise.

Recalling their conversation on breakfast makes Gaara feel bad, threatening and even make a deal that seems unfair to her.. He knows sooner or later they will be separated but for now Gaara wants to know her better as a friend..

The look she gave him last night makes him look like a bad man.. Gaara unconsciously puts her in a cage and shackles her wings.

Even though she is only his friend nothing more nothing less. But he cannot let her go. Is it because she is not afraid of him like anyone else?.. Or that she treat him like a normal person

Just what he wants from her?.. He himself doesn't know either.

Just because she showed her true feelings to him, it doesn't mean she doesn't do that to anyone else.. Maybe he wasn't special at all..

But even just a little time, Gaara wants her here and when the time comes he will let her go to where she belongs... That was his promise to her.

The town seemed so lively as the sun penetrated her skin, Layla for the first time came to visit the town with Misaka. Seeing she needs her own things as she will stay here for a while..

Gaara kindly leaves some money for her to use.. The truth is ,she is still angry at him but she needs to pay back his kindness so she can't complain...

Layla san , do you find something that caught your eyes?

Looking at the lady, Layla smiled at her.. " No. Not yet.. But it's so hot here isn't it?.. I'm sweating like crazy " Layla wipes sweat dripping from her head as her other hand fanning herself.

Her complaining makes Misaka laugh.. "Then shall we take a break and eat some ice cream?..

Layla's eyes were sparkling when Misaka said Ice cream, she then quickly nodded at the lady and Misaka showed her the way..

Ah.. Ice cream huh.. I have been really craving it for a while now. If I'd known sooner I would have gone directly.

You really can't stand the heat , aren't you Layla san?..

Yeah, " Layla quickly agreed and made Misaka chuckles..

Seeing the board that has Ice Cream on it. Layla quickening her pace.. Coming inside the shop made Layla chill . An ac colds her skin and what is even more that many kinds of different flavors of ice cream they have..

Welcome," The worker greeted her..

Wow, That looks so delicious.. " Could you get me mint flavors and with chocolate chips topping "Layla ordered.

Misaka san , what do you want? . Layla asked.

I want the same as you.. "

Make it two, thank you.. "Layla points her fingers as she tells the worker...

While we are making your order, You can wait by sitting there.. " One of the workers said politely as they pointed to the seated area..

Then we will do that" Layla replied and went to sit while Misaka did as well.

After this Layla san where would you go?.. Misaka asked.

Hmm.. " that amber eyes stray to the busy people outside as she is thinking about her destination next.

Sorry I kept you waiting.. Here two mint with chocolate chips ice cream.. " the waitress appeared at their table while Layla completely forgot to continue her words as she began to take her ice cream .

Thank you.. " Layla smiled towards the waitress as the waitress did the same and left them to enjoy their sweets.

Took one spoon to her mouth. Layla squealed because the cold was coming from the ice cream and took out the heat inside of her.

Mint and chocolate are really the best combination.. Don't you think Misaka San?..

Nodded at her. Misaka enjoys seeing her sparkling and happy show on her face.. She likes open books. Even though she tries to hide it, people still notice.

Misaka happy today outing make Layla happy,

Now she doesn't feel very hot. Layla continued shopping with Misaka until they came back in the evening. As Misaka san prepared dinner for Gaara..

Throwing some plastic that contained the things she brought to the floor, Layla jumped into her bed washing all her tiredness away.

Against her willings Layla will stay here with Gaara. Actually that's never a problem but she'll be afraid her existence here will make Gaara's fiance hate her.

She never wants to make someone hate her.. All she want is left them with good memory until she will disappear

At least ,someone will remember her when she leaves this village later . As Layla deep in thought she slowly drifts into the dream world..

Gaara Pov..

Knocking on her door instead her voice only silence fills the atmosphere , Reach for the door knob and open it.

He just came back from work, but curious what Layla was doing right now.. But as he stepped his foot into her room dark filled the square room and Layla was soundly sleeping.

Get closer to the bed. Gaara found himself watching her sleeping. Bend his knees to the floor as his hand is on bed while his fingers are playing with her hair. Shockingly her hair so smooth

Hmm..

Gaara's face went white when Layla's body suddenly turned the other side but thankfully she didn't wake up. " ..

Gaara takes a breath of relief.. ' That was close.. " He muttered.

But he cannot see her face now, slowly he wants to climb up to the bed when-..

Uhhmm?! Gaara sama.. " Misaka yelled at him as she found him.

Quickly he looked up to the door and saw Misaka standing there,.. " Shut up, she 's gonna wake up. " He says softly but Misaka still heard

Dinner is ready. " Misaka replied softly too.

Standing up as he comes out from her bed and closes the door.. "Don't tell Layla I come inside her room while she sleeps.

He says to Misaka while his ears are red.

Hmm, I didn't know that's" Misaka replied playfully, teasing the red haired boy. But nodded her head after Gaara gave her a sharp gaze.

I'm hungry.. ' He says try to change topic

He really is awkward, " Misaka thought to herself as a smile etched in her face.
