Day 15.

Sun rays seeped through the curtain windows, Birds chirped to tell the world that another day had begun.. Layla, tired walking around the town yesterday, slowly opened her eyes and stared at the ceiling for a moment . " What should I do today?.

That was what she asked herself every single day earlier in the morning..

Dragging her lazy body to the bathroom ,She started preparing herself for today..

Looking at the entrance, Gaara got distracted when there was someone entering his house.

" Good morning my sweet brother".. Kankuro's smug face appeared.

Hmm. Continuing to eat again, Gaara could care less about Kankuro's sudden arrival.

Ceh, " Your brother just came back from being on dangerous missions and yet you just ignore me.. " Kankuro pouted his mouth and took a seat beside Gaara.

Didn't I ask for a regular report why there were not any reports you gave to me while you were on mission..

Misaka san , can I get breakfast too.. " Kankuro yelled at Misaka in the kitchen.

Getting frustrated at being ignored, Gaara slammed the chopsticks very hard into the table." Kankuro!!.. Don't ignore me.. " Gaara shouted at him.

Gaara it such a good day today, Can't you stop nagging earlier in the morning.? Kankuro says.

hesitantly get into their siblings' argument. Misaka waited for Gaara to cool down before She served Kankuro breakfast..

Feeling hopeless at his brother. Gaara excuse himself leaving for work

He needs to relax, aren't I right Misaka San?.. The puppet boys smiled at the frightened lady.

Serving the food on the table, Kankuro began to feast until his stomach was full..

Laughing at Misaka like nothing happened, Kankuro finished his breakfast with joy while Misaka was still wondering why lately Gaara always gets irritated easily especially when Layla matters are involved .

Noticing at the lady's expression, Kankuro feels guilty for teasing the old aged woman more than he had.. Is Misaka san still afraid of Gaara although she worked with him?!..

Are you still afraid of Gaara, Misaka san?.. Kankuro asked as he set down his chopsticks.

Her face went distorted when Kankuro asked her that..

On second thoughts, you don't have to answer that. . 'Kankuro said while getting up from his seat and leaving the house without hearing Misaka's question..

Even though she didn't answer his question, he already knew what she would answer. But somehow that kind reaction people have about Gaara really makes Kankuro pissed off but he can't blame the others when he used to think like that towards Gaara..

and hope that someday his brother can find love from someone else and understand him..

Half of the month staying in this sunagakure village makes Layla gradually get used to living here.. Just the weather doesn't suit her at all. Everyday she feels like dying of exhaustion until she wants to work at the ice cream shop..

…. Looking out of the window, Again Layla thinks about what she will do all day long.. Gaara engaged days still way too far.. but to think of it.. why Gaara rarely talked about his fiance.

AHH!!!.. What should I do for the entire day.. ' She whined, as Misaka heard her.

How about bringing Gaara sama lunch.. I'd think he'll be happy'.. Misaka suggested it.

Frowned showed on her face, ' I don't want that'.. She whimpered.

..Then, what do you want?.. dozing off just looking outside?. And waste your time..

Not happy because Misaka speaks the truth.. Layla stomps her feet to make the lady laugh in amusement at her behaviour.. She is really easy to read..

Remember , Looking at the tallest building .. that was Gaara sama workplace.'

Misaka san said to her, But!!''

How she gonna find that building when there were too many freaking tallest buildings in this village.. under this blazing sun, She sweat like crazy with the bento she is holding the entire way to find Gara place..

She swears unstoppable..

So how is your mission going?.. '

Luckily the mission went successful Gaara sama.. ' the girl has purple paint across her cheeks..

Well done Maki.. ' .. 'Gaara complimented his subordinates..

. Happy with his comments, Maki smiled. '.

Glad Gaara sama happy with this mission.. '. Maki says ..

You can take two a few days rest, I will be summoned if there is any mission I need you to do.. Gaara instruced.

Nodded at him, Maki then excused herself . as she opened the door Maki almost shouted at Layla 's sudden appearance.. ' Ah!!!... ' Layla gets surprised too.

Layla.. What were you doing here?.. Gaara bewildered as he was quickly on his feet.

Misaka san,..-- said to bring you lunch …' Layla said between her breaths.

Quickly Gaara takes the bento in her hand and pulls her to come and sit at the chair. Seeing the kazekage busy.. Maki left quietly..

Are you exhausted?.

Do I look like I just came back from holiday?. 'Of course I'm exhausted.. your place is so far away and the weather was so hot.. ' She murmurs..

Gaara unintentionally laughed,

What are laughing off'. Layla glared at him.

No… it just'.. It's been such a long time since I see you being yourself.'

Gaara words make Layla awkward.. It's true she was ignoring him but she is not gonna do that forever.. ' Hm!. Just eat that damn bento .. It's really hard bringing that to here'.. Layla shrugged off.

.. tilting his head closer to her… ' I will if you feed me?

His request made Layla gasp.. ' no can't do it!!.. Did you really request that to me?.. She asked him very seriously.

What do you think?.. ' Layla was uncomfortable when Gaara suddenly came closer to her.. ..

Wh- wha- what!!.. ' She stutters while dragging her butt against the sofa to prevent Gaara from getting closer to her..

Says Layla, why I can't bring myself to..

Put her hand on Gaara's chest , ' Gaara please stop if this a joke'.. You make me uncomfortable'.. Layla says and averts his gaze on her..

?.. instead of the food you brought to me, I would like to eat the person who is in front of me now'.. Gaara whispers to her ears.

Red beats flash into her face instantly..

Gaara sama may I come in?..

In the midst , Layla is relieved when someone comes knocking the door.. Quickly she stands up and gets aways from Gaara'.. Excuse me, I want to leave,' Layla said to gaara as she hurriedly opened the door and almost bumped into the man outside the door.

Looking at the Kazekage wondering.. ' Do I interrupt Gaara sama?. The man asked.

No'.. There was disappointment in his voice, but the man just ignored it.
