Watching his superior go into the town, He then comes in inside the house as he carries Sayuri back into the room.. Even though he works for Kantarou he hates seeing him mistreat his daughter.

He then goes back to his work after making sure she was okay..

Gaara came back from his exhausted day. Looking around the house everyone was already asleep. He then walked upstairs and saw Maki just get out of his room..

Seeing her superior come, Maki bowed to him.

How is she?. Gaara asked Maki..

"She just fell asleep, Gaara sama.. Aside from having a hard time convincing her to eat everything was fine.. " Maki informed him..

Thank you, you may be retreating .. " He said he was exhausted, while walking past Maki to his room.

Closed back the door, Gaara feel his tiredness being washed away just looking at her, lying beside her on the bed Gaara put his hand on her hips and closer their body, their face were so close until Gaara could hear her breathing

Not even at the last minute, He already fell asleep . Not knowing she was awake..

Layla pov..

Layla was having a hard time sleeping, just closing her eyes and hoping she could really sleep, but after she heard someone climbing up to her bed and hugging her she didn't move and just froze.

She already know who was it,

Layla slowly opened her eyes as she watched Gaara sleep beside her.. Following her heart she just wanted to slap that face but instead she just lay beside him..

Thanks to the moon lights that emitted some light to her room, Layla could watch his face.

It's been so long, She misses Gaara so much.. Even though she doesn't admit it she still love him as does he was loving her

But she still afraid of him,

She was stuck between love and fear for him, what if he really leaves her someday for his fiance.. Although he said they just have a deal, what if he fell in love with her ?..

And when that time arrives, will she leave this village and forget all the memories they've shared..

Moving her body, she was on top of him and rested her head on to his chest " When things go wrong between us , Gaara.. If we just don't meet in the desert that day this wouldn't happen.. And we will be strangers.
