Skelita Calaveras didn't know what was wrong at the moment, but she could feel something in her bones. She hated that she knew why the ghostly woman scared her so much. The ghostly woman had hurt her before and she was sure that the woman was going to do it again. After a while, the danger alarm went away when Moanatella Ghostier would move away from her, but Skelita was still wary. Normally, she would want to check it out but she was hit with the danger alarm at a very high level, and Skelita knew not to engage with something that caused her danger levels to increase to the max. And this was after Moanatella Ghostier had started hurting her and her two friends. After a while, Skelita met up with Frankie Stein and Clawdeen Wolf to talk about it. She didn't know where Jinafire Long was but Clawdeen did.
"The ghoul said she wanted to go shopping," Clawdeen told Skelita.
"Did she say where she was going, chica?" she asked, but the werewolf girl shook her head then offered Skelita a concerned look.
"Is something wrong, Skelita? You seem scared." Clawdeen spoke in a way that wouldn't cause Skelita to fly into a panic. When Skelita noticed the gentle tone, she sighed. Clawdeen was the motherly one and would notice when Skelita was off first before anyone else.
"I think something's off with Moanatella Ghostier. Normally, I wouldn't be too distrusting of adults, but she is really ruffling my bones and I don't know why. This is after she started to hit us," she admitted to both Clawdeen and Frankie. She was a little glad that neither of them seemed shocked by her words.
I thought I was the only one among the three of us who felt that way, Clawdeen thought, happy that Skelita feels felt off by Moantella Ghostier's attitude recently, considering the abuse, but she was also a little disappointed. Something about Moanatella Ghostier made Clawdeen a little wary about their final test from the ghostly ghoul, and Clawdeen hoped that nothing bad would happen tomorrow and, like Skelita thought, it was something about the abuse she was putting the trio through. Frankie learned about it when Skelita had a horrible nightmare about it.
"Well, hopefully, she won't do anything during or after our final test tomorrow," Clawdeen said to Skelita, and the Latina skeleton ghoul sighed deeply while Clawdeen patted her on her back. "Don't worry, Skelita. I'm sure Moanatella Ghostier won't try anything with us again but if she attempts to, we can show her how we roll, right ghouls?" she asked Skelita and Frankie.
Frankie giggled and Skelita smiled. "Right," they both answered her.
Frankie then glanced at Skelita, who was looking around in a frenzy and Frankie got Clawdeen's attention by gently nudging the werewolf ghoul.
She turned her head towards Skelita and she glanced back at Frankie. Clawdeen silently sighed to herself. Moanatella Ghostier really got Skelita spooked, she thought. Clawdeen wondered as she didn't want to ask Skelita, but she was curious about why Skelita was very on edge. "Hey, Frankie, can I talk to Skelita alone? If Moanatella Ghostier is going something crazy, I don't want you to be involved."
Frankie nodded and gave give Clawdeen a big smile, despite what she was thinking. I'm sure Moanatella Ghostier had already seen me before but Clawdeen's right, Frankie [Since you've already switched between three different POVs, specifying here will help, especially since two names are mentioned in the first sentence] thought, not wanting to chance it as she didn't want Clawdeen to go all Mama Bear on Moanatella Ghostier for hurting her. She decided to listen to Clawdeen as she walked into a coffee shop, sitting at a table while Clawdeen took Skelita to an outside table of the same shop one outdoors.
Skelita glanced over at the other table as she shifted in her seat. The werewolf ghoul sighed softly as she smiled at Skelita. "It's because I don't want her to hear this. If Moanatella Ghostier even catches a hint of us being suspicious, I'd rather not let Frankie get involved." The skeleton ghoul smiled at Clawdeen. She understood her worry. After all, Frankie was there to have fun, not get caught up in a big mess that could get her hurt. Skelita could see the worry and the protective nature that the werewolf ghoul had for her, considering that Clawdeen had taken her in her pack of friends.
"Why does Moanatella Ghostier spooks you out, girl? Aside from everything else she does to us," she asked, trying to not get too hotheaded about it but knowing Skelita, she had her worries.
"I don't know but every time she is close to me, I just feel my danger alarm go off in my body, even if she doesn't attempt to hit me. I just don't feel safe around our profesora," she admitted to Clawdeen and the ghoul sighed. If it wasn't the abuse she put them through daily, what else could it be?
Moanatella Ghostier made her protective instincts go off when she's around Skelita, and Clawdeen was sure that Jinafire could feel it within herself as well. That's why she went shopping, she thought. She told me why but I also swore to not tell Skelita.
Catty Noir, werecat popstar, was taking a small break from touring and singing to her many fans from last night. She was in Scaris after she learned that she had to tour in Scaris and since Catty loved traveling and singing, she accepted the touring request. Now that she was taking a break, she could appreciate the foreign culture and the fashion she loved that Scaris had to offer. Catty's ears twitched and she turned her head to see Frankie in a nearby coffee shop and she grinned at the ghoul. I knew that Frankie had joined Clawdeen for her trip, she thought as she approached Frankie.
When the ghoul noticed her famous friend, she waved her over.
Catty smiled at the light-skinned ghoul. "Hello, Frankie." Frankie greeted her back as Catty she sat down joined her at the table.
"Touring?" Frankie guessed correctly and Catty gave her a tired grin. Frankie smiled back in sympathy.
While she couldn't understand the stress that Catty had, Catty appreciated that Frankie could easily see when the ghoul needed rest. "I would drink coffee if it didn't keep me up all night," Catty told Frankie as she noticed the time. It was 4:00 PM and she knew that it was too late for her to have coffee.
"Anything else you have trouble with?" Frankie asked. "Like, shopping or boy trouble?" Frankie asked innocently and Catty had to give herself props for not wincing at the question.
More like ghoul problems, she thought, but she knew that Frankie didn't mean it like that. After all, she hadn't told her yet. While she did like mansters, she was starting to like ghouls as well and she had only told a few ghouls, namely Clawdeen. Clawdeen knew and she was super supportive about it. Catty wasn't afraid of Frankie's reaction as she knows knew that the ghoul would be super excited about it, the problem was her feelings towards the innocent and naive ghoul. [maybe here in this sentence, you can say Catty is noticing her eyes blinking back at her or other features of her face/body that allude to her crush on her] Why couldn't famous writers write a book about teenage crushes on ghouls? That would make my life easier.
With Clawdeen and Skelita, the two ghouls had noticed Catty and Clawdeen was giving the skeleton ghoul news about the pop star singer. Clawdeen looked at Skelita's face and she wasn't shocked to see that the ghoul had a mesmerized facial expression towards Catty but then she looked back at Catty to see that Catty was trying to hide her face from Frankie as Clawdeen could feel the emotion around the singer. She then looked back towards Skelita to see that the ghoul had a slightly heartbroken look. "What's wrong, Skelita?" Clawdeen asked, not wanting to hear something else from her mouth.
"She's trying so hard to hide her feelings for her but why?" Skelita turned to Clawdeen and the werewolf ghoul looked away from Skelita.
"I don't think Frankie understands about that part about romance. She's super supportive of it but she personally doesn't understand it but she can feel it if she pays close attention to it." At Clawdeen's words, Skelita sunk into herself and Clawdeen noticed. "What's wrong, Skelita? You can tell me anything, you know that."
The ghoul sunk even more. She didn't know how to proceed or if she even wanted to proceed. "Not a lot of people took it well besides my friends and family," Skelita gave Clawdeen a hint and
Clawdeen's ears straightened to Skelita's words and anger grew in the pit of Clawdeen's stomach if she knew what Skelita was about to say.
"But, I like other ghouls. It was always other ghouls." Skelita looked away after a minute she had told Clawdeen, expecting the ghoul to get mad.
But when Clawdeen held her hand, the werewolf ghoul's action brought Skelita's attention back to her. "I'm not mad, Skelita. Trust me." The skeleton uncurled from herself, smiling at Clawdeen. Jinafire would be happy to hear this but it's not my place to tell her, she thought. "Although, I'm pretty sure that Jinafire likes you," Clawdeen whispered and Skelita looked at her with an innocent face. Clawdeen was glad that Skelita didn't hear what she had said.
