Steve was chasing a man through the forest and Harry was right behind him. The man ran a lot, and although Steve was tired and overwhelmed by the recent events in his life, he was trying to catch up with the guy.

But Steve felt something strange in his body that made him stop. He looked around and didn't see the guy he was chasing anymore and he didn't see Harry anymore. He looked around and everything looked different. The forest was denser, there was a narrow path covered with dry leaves and the trees beside it were above the path forming an arc of dry logs and the air also looked different. Everything was very strange and Steve felt goosebumps. "Harry!" Steve shouted, but there was no answer. The silence was disturbing and Steve didn't know where to go. "I didn't come this way. What's going on?" he thought.

A few seconds later, the silence was broken by a horse that was riding fast. Steve saw a woman riding the horse who seemed to be out of control and saw when the horse suddenly stopped, throwing the woman against a tree. Steve intervened and did not let her hit the tree and she fell on top of him. Luckily she was thin, but that didn't stop him from feeling tremendous pain and he couldn't get up.

"Oh, I'm sorry! I lost the horse's reins. Are you okay?" She asked Steve.

Steve was still a little stunned and looked at her face. She seemed really concerned for him, she had a sweet voice and expressive eyes and he thought she was very beautiful.

She looked around without knowing what to do. The horse was gone and the man who saved her appeared to be badly injured.

"Are you listening to me?" Steve heard her ask.

"Yes," he replied.

"We can't stay here, it will get dark soon. I need you to get up and walk with me."

"I need to find Harry," Steve told her.

"Harry? There is no one else here. Come!" She helped Steve to his feet. He stood up with a lot of sacrifice, ignoring the pain he was feeling, trying to do as in the days of the Navy.

Steve walked with her for almost half an hour and at that moment the pain was speaking louder.

"We're almost there," she told Steve.

"My name is Steve, if you hear someone looking for Steve, you already know it's me."

"Okay, Steve. My name is Catherine." She spotted the cabin and told him they were arriving. They walked a while longer and arrived on the cabin's porch. She sat him on the rustic bench while she reached into the top of the dress and took out a key. Steve then realized that she was wearing a strange outfit, like a period movie outfit. A long dress, with a round skirt, tight at the waist and a neckline at the top that left the lap showing.

"Are you an actress?" Steve asked her.

"What?" she answered with another question, but did not give much importance to his question. She opened the door and helped him to get up and enter the cabin. She took him to the bed and helped him to lie down.

Catherine sat down next to him and examined his arm, which was badly scratched. "I will clean your wounds." She got up and took a clean cloth and a bowl of clean water. Then she sat down next to him again and cleaned the wounds on his arm. "You can move your hands, so I don't think you broke anything. Can you take your shirt off?"

Steve took off his shirt and Catherine examined his ribs. "Apparently you didn't break anything. But tomorrow I'm going to ask the doctor to see you."

Steve looked at her with a pained face that touched her. "Forgive me, it was all my fault," she told him.

"It was the horse's fault," Steve replied gently.

Catherine smiled. "Yes, it was the horse's fault. Thank you very much, you saved my life and I'm sure the King will reward you."

"King?" Steve asked.

"Yes, the King is my father."
