F3: Hello everyone and welcome to chapter 10. So far Vanessa and company has got some answers from Hilda but now whats going on with Star at the moment. RWBY is property of Rooster Teeth and Monty Oum. Oc characters are owned by me unless otherwise. With that said Let's Roll Out!
Volume 4-10 Blue: Planning.
The wind blew in the fox faunus hair as Star and Carmine rode fast across the desert not even knowing where the women is even taking her. She hoped that it wasn't some kind of trick. After riding for about thirty minutes she noticed Corquina was coming into view as they simply rode into town.
"You brought me back here. May I ask why?" Star asked.
"Well I don't think you want to be in your night clothes all day right. I'm sure your friend Mars has a spare outfit of hers." Carmine said as the women parked right beside Mars house.
"Why don't you go in a get something on. I'll wait here." Carmine said as Star got off the bike.
"Okay... why?" Star questioned.
"Well... their is something I want to show you." Carmine added as Star only looked at her strangely but paid it no mind as she headed inside Mars house.
It was rather easy to find Mars room as she quickly found one of Mars spare outfits and decided to put it on and saw how it fit. Star was a little uncomfortable of how much skin it showed she had to make it work for the moment. The short-shorts she wore she had to make an adjustment so that her tail could breath without being constricted.
"Why she wears stuff like this I'll never know." She muttered to herself as she left the room. Though as she was about to leave she noticed something peeking out of a drawer from the kitchen. Her curiousity peeked she decided to take a look.
She approached the kitchen drawer and opened it which revealed an envelop that had a name on it. The name read 'To Nia Kaminari. From Fenix Neaman.'. She looked in the drawer and noticed that their were more of them. The one she was holding was the most recent one was only about five years old.
Part of her wanted to open it and find out what it read but another part of her wanted to leave it alone. Against her better judgement she decided to open the envelop and noticed a letter inside as she decided to take a look at it. She unfolded the letter and started to read it
"Dear Nia, I know that we've been apart for nearly twelve years now but now I believe it's time that we reunite and explain to our daughter about why we decided to remain apart for this long. In your last letter you said that you've been talking about me to our daughter and she's been getting an idea about who I am. I say that we show her. It's time to be together my love. Love your charming lion, Fenix Neaman." She finished reading the letter before putting it back in the envelop.
"So their were going to meet back up here and be a family again. Though that didn't happen. Something must've happened before the meet up. Mars didn't talk about it after me and Tala got back from the capital all those years ago." Star said to herself before thinking back when she and Mars first met Carmine in the center of the town and remembered how much Mars hated Carmine.
"Does Mars blame Carmine for something that happened to her mom?" She questioned herself but decided to ask the women herself when the time was right as she headed out of the house and to Carmine who was waiting like she said she would.
Carmine looked over the fox faunus as she whistled "Nice outfit. Looks better on you than your friend." She said letting out a teasing roar which made Star blush considerably.
"Okay hold up a minute. Before we decide to leave anywhere I need to call my friends and make sure that they know I'm okay. More likely they're worried about me." Star said quickly trying to ignore the friendly comment.
"Geez alright. Don't get your tail in a knot." Carmine said before get out her scroll from her pocket and tossed it at her.
"Here try calling one of your friends okay and let them know that your okay. Just don't tell them that you're with me okay." Carmine added as start began dialing a number that she knew as she called Velvet.
"Hello?" Velvet's voice greeted from the other side of the scroll.
"Um... hey Velvet." Star simply said.
"Star!" Velvet shouted into the scroll making Star retract the scroll from her ears.
"Geez not so loud okay. Trying to make me go deaf." She added back.
"Oh right sorry about that we were so worried about you. Are you alright? Where are you?" Velvet questioned rather quickly.
"Whoa easy their bunny. I'm fine. I'm actually back in Corquina right now." Star replied.
"Corquina? How'd you wind up back their?" This time it was May that asked.
"Um... you see..." Star began as she tried to figure out an answer to her question as she glanced back to Carmine. Part of her wanted to tell her that she was with Carmine but she couldn't bring herself to.
"A... caravan found me in the desert and they were generous enough to take me back here to Corquina. Real nice folks too." Star replied as she lied through her teeth.
"A caravan? I didn't know that they were still running due to what happened in Vale." Mars voice sounded off this time.
"Yeah. But like I said I'm totally fine. Don't need to worry." Star said.
"Well... alright. Besides we got stuff that we want to tell you as well and it's rather big news for us. You might want to listen to this." Velvet said.
After ten minutes passed as Vanessa explained what Hilda; the person that kidnapped her; told them as they told Star what she knew.
"Okay... so your saying that their is a White Fang cell here in Vacou and this property is their base of operations. But why would they need something like that? For what purpose does it show?" Star asked.
"We don't know just yet but we're going to investigate on this matter as quickly as possible get the White Fang out of Vacou. If this is just one cell of them I bet their are others out there not only in Vacou but in the other kingdoms as well." Cardins voice said.
Star began to think a moment as she was trying to come up with an idea before turning to Carmine as she let out a yawn as if bored.
"How about this? You all investigate that property and I'll see if I can track down any other White Fang cells here in Vacou." Star said.
"You sure? Without your weapons you aren't going to be much of a threat." Mars added.
"Oh don't worry. I know a few tricks of my own." Star said. She would have to thank Pepper for teaching them how to fight without their weapons in case of situations like this ever occured. Of course she would have to find her wolf faunus friend first.
"Okay just be careful." Melanie finally said.
"I will." Star said as she disconnected from them before tossing the scroll back to Carmine.
"Alright. Where is this place you want to show me?" Star asked.
Carmine smirked "Get on. From here it's about an hour ride from here. So get ready for a long ride." Carmine said as Star got on the back of the bike. She turned it back on as it roared to life and with a twist of the throttle and they were off like they were shot out of a cannon as they were already out of the town of Corquina.
=RWBY=
"Okay just be careful." Melanie said.
"I will." Star said as she disconnected.
With that said Velvet then put away her scroll and let out a sigh of relief "Well it's good to know that she's okay now. No need to worry." Velvet said.
"I don't know about that. Sure she's fine but something seemed rather off about that conversation." Cardin added knowingly.
"So you picked it up too huh." Melanie replied as he nodded.
"Picked what up? What do you mean?" Mars questioned.
"Star said she was picked up by a traveling caravan right. Theirs only one problem with that statement." Vanessa began.
"Okay... and that is?" May asked crossing her arms under her bust.
"While their is a caravan out in Vacou. That caravan is all the way in Kenyte delivering supplies for the people that have settled their." Vanessa said.
"So... if the caravan is their in Kenyte then why would Star lie to us?" May asked.
"You think she might be in trouble? Or someone else might've found her and is forcing her to keep quiet about it." Cardin said throwing his idea out their.
Melanie shook her head "No... she sounded like she was alright but before she hung up she hesitated for a moment almost as if not wanting to reveal anything to us." She said.
"So... you think she might be with someone in Corquina." Vanessa said.
"Vel. Our scrolls save previous conversations so could you bring it up again. I want to confirm something." Melanie said as Velvet brought her scroll out again and replayed the conversation.
"Go to the point of who she was with." Melanie said as Velvet did that which almost near the end.
"Um... you see..." Stars voice said again as the message played but they heard a small sound in the background.
"Right there! You heard that too." Melanie pointed out.
"Yeah that sounded like someone was yawning." Hilda replied.
"It... sounded like... a women yawning back their." Cardin said.
"I might be spit balling here but you think that could be Carmine." Cardin said which made Mars growl a bit.
"Why would Star be with Carmine? If she's in trouble then we have to find her and help her out." Mars said.
Vanessa turned to the young blonde girl "I know your probably frustrated but right now we have our own problems here. With the White Fang here in Vacuo and close to the capital we don't know what they could do or what they're even planning in the first place. For now... I can't believe this is coming out of my mouth but... we're going to have to trust Star for now in what she's doing." Vanessa said.
Mars growled at this but she relented as she knew that Vanessa had a point plus leaving now wouldn't help if they didn't know what the White Fang were up to.
"So... what do we do now?" Mars asked.
Vanessa turned to Hilda and thought of something "First Hilda is going to report to the White Fang and say that Star has been disposed of and that you want your son back." Vanessa began.
"However when you go and get your son we're going to observe and figure out what they're planning and hopefully we can come up with a plan to put a stop to it before then. After you have your son in arms get out of Vacuo as quickly as you can and don't look back." Vanessa told her as she nodded understanding what she meant.
Hilda then brought out her scroll but she didn't dial yet before looking at the seven of them.
"It's best that they don't know if their was anyone in the room." Hilda said as they filed out of the meeting room to have her quiet.
Once they left Hilda then dialed the number on her scroll as it rang once before it picked up.
"It's about time you called. I was starting to figure you didn't do as asked." A womens voice said.
"My deepest apologies for the late call. I've done what was asked. Star Azure is no more." Hilda said.
"Interesting. May I ask how'd you got rid of her?" The women asked.
"Simple. I first made sure she was asleep and hit her with a sleeping agent to make sure she stayed asleep. Then I simply kidnapped her and rode her out to the farthest part of the desert. Let the desert claim another victium. More than likely she's dead already. Nothing to worry about now." Hilda replied.
"Good. Because I have some higher ups here that want to make sure that happened." The women said.
"Higher ups?" Hilda thought but then refocused on the task "Now I've done what you told me to do. I want my son." Hilda replied.
"Oh yes of course a deals a deal after all. Just come and get him if you like." The women said as she hung up.
The seven then re-entered the room hearing the entire conversation.
"That went rather well. Let's get going." Octavia said.
"Hold on. We'll let Hilda get ahead of us first as we trail behind just far enough so that we aren't spotted. Hilda you take your horse and ride up their. We'll be right behind you. Remember, get your son and get out of their as fast as you can got it and don't stop for anything. If you have to get to Corquina until things blow over." Vanessa ordered before turning to the rest of the girls.
"The rest of you saddle up and prepare. We leave in one hour." Vanessa said which surprised Melanie.
"Y-You sure that's wise mom for you to come along. What about the academy?" Melanie asked.
"Theodore can cover for me till I get back. We give Hilda a five minute head start then we'll follow afterward okay." Vanessa said.
Cardin punch a fist into his palm "Alright it's go time. Or like someone once said. Let's kick this off with a Yang!" Cardin cheered which only got everyone to look at him weirdly. He noticed this and crossed his arms.
"It was better when she did said it." Cardin replied getting a laugh out of Velvet as they dispersed as they prepared for their mission.
=RWBY=
Meanwhile as this was happening about an hour into their ride Carmine and Star could see something in the distance as they noticed it was a town.
"Looks like we're here. Gossan is in sight." Carmine said as Star looked over the womens shoulder and seeing the town. It was rather small, even smaller than Corquina but it seemed to be flourishing and she even saw some construction being done almost as if making another home for the people their.
"It's... small but I guess that's to be expected right." Star said.
"Yeah. Gossan maybe small but the people here believe that they can make it bigger. One house or store at a time. It's a great place to start out for people looking to get away from it all." Carmine started.
"Though that's not what I want to show you." She said as rode her bike to just on the outskirts of the town as they came to a rather unusualy large boulder in the sand.
"Okay that is huge." Star commented as Carmine giggled.
"Oh you haven't seen nothing yet." Carmine said as she got off the bike and walked toward the rock. Star looked at women weirdly as she placed a hand on the rock but then she heard something mechanical speak out.
"SCANNING..." The mechanical voice replied before it pinged.
"SCAN COMPLETE. WELCOME CARMINE ESCLADOS." The mechanical voice greeted as a door seemed to open in front of her which surprised Star. Carmine then gestured her to follow.
Star got off the bike and followed her but then she heard something below the bike as it was suddenly lowered into the sand which made her jump a bit.
"C'mon theirs something I want to show you." Carmine said as Star quickly went to her side as she slightly giggled as she pulled a lever to her left and the door closed as she felt them moving downward like below the earth itself.
About five minutes later they suddenly stopped as the door opened again but Star something she didn't expect to see that it took her breath away. It was an underground city that seemed to be hand built from the earth itself. Not even a minute in the city and people noticed Carmine had came back.
"Did you all miss me?" She said with a smile as she was immediately swarmed by some of the adults and kids.
"Welcome back Miss. Esclados. We were worried if something bad had happened to you." A man said.
"Thank you for worrying everyone though you might want to give us some room please." Carmine said gently as they backed away giving her and Star some room.
Though an older gentleman in his mid thirties walked up to her holding an infant in his arms.
"Miss Esclados. We had a baby born in the city while you were away." He said as he carefully handed the infant to her.
"Alright let's take a look shall we." She said she held the young infant in her arms.
"Ah... he's a healthy one. Were their any compilcations with the birth?" She asked but the man shook his head.
"No thankfully. We were wonding what to name him." He said as Carmine gently handed the infant back to the man.
"I'll leave that to you and your wife. I wish you well." Carmine said as he gently bowed to her then she returned the gesture as the crowd dispersed.
"This is... how did all of this get created?" Star asked completely taken aback by the surroundings.
"Apparently it was made during the Great War. It was used as a bunker for people to escape from the war. My grandfather told me about this place so I thought it would be a good hideout for these people until we can get what is ours back." Carmine said as she began walking toward the back of the town in which Star follow.
"It's rather cramped in here. How can they live like this?" She questioned.
"We make it work. It isn't easy but we do want we can." Carmine added before her face turned somber.
"Though I'm not sure how much longer I can keep this up. I need to get these people out from the ground and back to the surface. I can't do that without getting back what was taken from us." She added.
"Also... there was another reason why I brought you here. Since your friends had dealt with the water probably in the capital their is something that-" Carmine started but one of her bandits suddenly came running toward her almost as it was urgent.
"Ma'am our spy has returned from his mission. He has some information for you." The bandit replied.
"Alright. Tell him to meet me here." Carmine ordered as the bandit left to fetch the spy.
"You had a spy. Just who were you spying on?" Star questioned.
Carmine sighed as the spy came into view but more importantly Star noticed what the person was wearing as she saw the eye mask that belonged to a particular group.
"The White Fang! What's one of them doing here!?" She said in complete surprise but the spy looked at her in complete shock and rather nervous too as he rubbed the back of his neck.
"Well... this is going to be rather awkward." He said.
"Come on. We can talk somewhere private." Carmine said as the three headed inside a small house that was apparently her home of residence. It wasn't too big but it was just enough for her and a few guest to enter.
"Alright now that were alone now. I believe you have something you wanted to tell us." Carmine said to the spy.
"Right. I been keeping an eye on the White Fang for quite some time and I think they're preparing for something big but I just don't know yet. They've been gathering dust from a nearby mine. More importantly fire and lightning dust and they've been testing them as well in the form of bombs. From what I can tell their close on finishing what they're doing." The spy said.
"That doesn't sound good at all. Anything else that you have?" She asked.
"Yeah... apparently they have a member of the Vacian council under their thumb but I'm not sure for how much longer though." He added.
As Star listened to the spy she could've sworn that his voice sounded familiar to her as she noticed the spy was trying to not make eye contact with her.
"So their making dust bombs and from the sounds of it they're making a lot of it right. But for what purpose does it play." Carmine said.
"Okay thank you for the help. Take a break before heading back." She ordered but he then turned to Star still with a nervous look on his face.
"Um... does the little fox have to here too?" He questioned before realizing what he just said that more than likely gave himself away.
She wide eyed at the sudden nickname that only a few know it as she got a better look at the guy more importantly the two horns on his head. She only knows one person that is a faunus and knows her nickname.
"Woody Magna? Is that you?" She questioned which caused the guy to flinch.
He let out a sigh as he would then remove the mask that covered his eyes letting Star see them to confirm that it was him as he rubbed the back of his nervously.
"So... um... remember that little errand I said I was doing... this is what I meant by that." Woody simply said.
"You mean... that your working with her... AND YOU DIDN'T EVEN TELL ME!" Star shouted completely angry at the bull faunus for keeping a secret that she nor Mars knew about as her tail thrashed a bit.
"Believe me I have my reasons for doing this. Carmine asked for my help cause she didn't know who else to ask." Woody replied.
"He tells the truth. I couldn't ask a regular huntsmen or huntress since they would mostly likely haul me in for the bounty. The headmistress was not an option either so that only left me limited options. So I decided to go to him and ask for his help." Carmine stated.
"And just how did you two supposedly meet?" Star questioned but still very angry at this whole thing.
"It was about three months ago after the property had been bought out right from under us. I went to investigate myself and noticed that their was White Fang members moving in on the property. Though I couldn't get too close or I would've been spotted so I got out of their before anything could happen. But I didn't get far before someone spotted me and began shooting at me. Took a bullet to the lower thigh and had to hunker down in an alley way for the time being. That's when he spotted me." Carmine started.
"I saw her in the alley way and saw her injuired. I patched her up and thought that would be that but I asked her how she got the wound and she told me the whole story." Woody started.
"I had a feeling Oscuro Academy would be on their two week vacation so I offered him to be my eyes and ears on the White Fang not until telling him the dangers that would come with helping me. But he didn't turn my offer down even though he was actually scared he still went through with it. I told him that he has to keep this a secret and that not even his friends can know about it." Carmine said.
"Yeah. So you can see why I'm helping her. I want to help her and the people here get back to their own home and drive off the White Fang from Vacuo and the neighboring towns." Woody said.
"So... she's not tricking you by any means or even blackmailing you?" Star questioned.
"Nope. He's free to leave anytime he pleases. I'm not holding him hostage or anything." Carmine added.
"It's my descision and I want to see this through and help them out anyway that I can." Woody said.
Star was still a little skeptical about him being not a spy for Carmine but she couldn't deny the fact that once Woody had his mind set on something there was no stopping him until the job is done.
She sighed gently shaking her head but she then smiled as well at this "I guess it can't be helped then can it. While I am still mad about you pretty much being a spy for Carmine I can't deny what your doing is pretty much what a huntsmen is suppose to do. Help others in the time of need." Star replied.
"Thank you for understanding Star." Woody said with a smile.
"Now go and freshen up before you return." Carmine said before looking over Star who is still in her night gear as Carmine smelled her before recoiling from her.
"You as well. You can use mine to freshen up. I'll have a fresh set of cloths for you after your done." Carmine said pointed to the door to her right that was more likely the bathroom.
"I'll head to the bath house in town to give you some privacy." Woody said as he walked out of Carmines house and into town as Star headed inside the bathroom.
It was a simple set up with a sink, shower, and a toilet. Inside the shower were shampoo and conditioner along with a towel hanging off to the side. Star started the shower head as it poured down water from head making sure it was at the perfect temperature for herself. After achieving the perfect temperature for herself she causally stripped out of the nightgear she wore before getting into the shower as the water made contact with her skin. She flinch a little bit from the heat but eventually got used to it as she let the water run down her naked form as she made sure her body was soaked in the water.
As she began to wash herself she began to let her mind wonder a bit at how this all came to be. She began to remember her teammates that were still alive and hopefully safe but it still made her worry about them none the less. She was the leader of her team and she ran off from them just to find the one the killed Amber and burnt the original orphanage down to the ground. She pound a fist onto the wall at how the idea was so stupid and that she should've stuck by her teammates and not chase after someone that she knew that she couldn't beat.
"Next time... I'll be stronger and I won't fight alone." Star thought to herself as she continued to wash herself from a much needed shower.
=RWBY=
One hour had elasped from the previous call with Star and the group of eight had everything ready for the journey ahead of them as they were now going to the property that from what Hilda said was the home of a White Fang terrorist cell. On Venessas back is a rather medium sheath with it's sword in it with black, white, and yellow accents covering the entire weapon.
Even despite it's size the tiger faunus didn't seem to be effected by it as she looked back from her camel and addressed the other seven.
"Alright. Listen up. Hilda is start off first giving her a five minute lead. After that time we'll follow her but we are to remain in a tight formation. We do this right then everyone makes it out alive. Remember the White Fang is only expecting her to show up so don't be surprise that before we get their we'll have to walk the rest of the way. And most importantly we are only their to observe, and make sure that Hilda and her son get out safely. That means I don't want anyone jumping the gun trying to do something crazy that'll jepordize the mission understand." Vanessa stated.
Everyone gave a clear nodded understanding what she meant.
"Alright. Once we know both her and her son are out safe we are to leave like we weren't even their." She said before turning to Hilda.
"Hilda... you're five minutes start now." Vanessa said as Hilda flicked the reins on her horse as she took off like a shot heading straight to the mountains.
Five minutes past rather quickly as Vanessa gestured them to follow flicking the reins of their camels as the moved forward as fast as they could also heading toward the mountains as well. As they followed May looked at her scroll as it tracked Hildas location on the map as she was well on her way to the location.
"Tracker is working perfectly. Looks like she's heading straight their." May said as she kept track of her location.
"Good we're right behind her then." Melanie replied as they turned on the path that Hilda took. After about ten minutes into the ride Vanessa held a hand up which caused them to stop in their tracks.
"Alright this is where we walk from here. We're not much further from the property now. This part requires some stealth so we'll split up for now. May, Cardin you two are one group. Melanie, Octavia your another and that leave myself, Velvet, and Mars as the last group. Remember only observation and make sure she's out with her son then we leave." Vanessa ordered as they separated into their groups as they begun making the walk to the property.
Luckily they didn't have to walk very far as they shortly arrived at the property. From just looking at the entrance it was heavily guarded with four patrol guards out front hold automatic weapons with a wooden entrance with large tree spikes tied together. Around the entire property was covered with thick wood all meticuiously tied together so that their wasn't an entry point to go through. Their were also several houses from just a side view of the property that each varied in size and shape but they each had the logo of the White Fang on it with the red banner and a picture of the beasts head and three claw marks running through it.
"Everyone spread out but keep a low profile." Vanessa ordered as the groups separated with Cardin and May hiding in a nearby bush. Melanie and Octavia used the hill of the mountain to their advantage to keep themselves hidden while Vanessa, Velvet and Mars took a large bush to hide in.
"Yeah that's them alright. No doubt about it." Mars said.
Velvet's ears caught the sound of horse hoofs coming toward the entrance as Hilda came to the front of the entrance. The four men that were at the front immediately responded by pointing their weapons at her.
"Hold it! Don't move!" One of them shouted.
Hilda immediately put her arms up in a surrender posture "Wait! I came to speak with the one in charge!" Hilda said quickly.
The four guards looked at each other before one of the gestured one of the guards to move.
"Go fetch the boss." He ordered as one of the guards ran off from the entrance.
"Looks like we get to see who's in charge of this place." Velvet said from her spot in the bush.
The guard came back with the person in charge. The person in charge is a slightly older girl that appears to be in her early twenties with blue eyes and medium length blue hair covering her right eye. She has pale skin and pronounced gray veins on her chest and arms. These lead her to have gray hands, where her spinnerets are located.
She wears a black and dark gray uniform with gold buttons and zipper, but her front zipper is left open, revealing quite a bit of cleveage. They noticed that she has small but sharp fangs protruding from her mouth which could identify her as a spider faunus.
She looked at the women that was in front of her and chuckled "Hilda Clausell. Good for you to come back to us." The older teen replied.
"You know why I'm here. I've done what you ask me to do. Now I want my son." She said in an almost demanding tone.
"Ah yes of course. You hope to reunite with your beloved son. Very well then." The older teen said before turning to the guard.
"Well go on take her to where her son is." She ordered as the guard nodded before gesturing Hilda to get off her horse and follow them.
Hilda did as ordered as followed them inside the property.
"Alright everyone now we wait. Remember once she has her son we pull out of here got it." Vanessa reminded as everyone nodded.
Though something was bothering May about this situation that made her feel uneasy which didn't go unnoticed by Cardin.
"Hey... you alright?" He whispered. May shook her head at his question.
"Something... doesn't feel right about this. I don't like it." May said as she raised her beanie up showing her prosthetic eye as it activated. She then began scanning everything that she could. She eventually found Hilda being escorted toward a small building near what assumed to be a courtyard as May scanned the inside of the building. She did notice that someone was inside that appeared to be a small boy but the boy wasn't moving.
Her iris's moved to show the boys vitals which to her surprise the boy was already flat lined and was beyond saving at this point. She blinked a few times to deactivate her eye as she put the left side of her beanie over it.
A moment later a blood curling scream was heard inside the building as Hilda rushed out of the building with a mad look on her face but tears streaming down her face as she confronted the women.
"How could you!? We had a deal Trifa!?" She shouted as she grabbed hold of the women by her uniform.
"And we still do have a deal. I promised that I would reunite you with your son did I not." The women now identified by Trifa chuckled.
"What do you-" She began but before she could finish a shot rang out as her eyes suddenly went wide. She looked downward seeing Trifa holding a gun in her hand as the blood seeped from Hildas wound.
Hilda stumbled backward clutching the wound on her abdamon "What are... doing?" She asked as she started to breath heavily.
"Keeping our end of the deal. I'm just taking it in a different matter." Trifa said as she fired again this time hitting the womens left shoulder as she screamed in pain from the shot.
"Our world is on the verge of a revolution that will unite the faunus toward a common goal that we all want... no that we demand. We demand to be respected, treated as equals, and bring the human race to their knees before us. The attack on Beacon was only just the beginning of it all." Trifa began.
"Three more pillars are still standing but not for much longer. Once the world realizes about what we are doing the high ups will be forced to look at who we are as not some cheap property to buy but as as members of society." Trifa replied as she then kicked Hilda in the head knocking her to the ground on her back as Trifa pointed her gun directly at her head.
"And if anyone gets in our way or believe things differently about our cause. They will be eliminated." She said as she put a finger on the trigger.
Hilda at this point was panicking trying to come up with anything to keep herself alive a little bit longer.
"Wait! Please! If you kill me then what about-" Hilda began but before she could finish Trifa pulled the trigger and fired the last shot shooting Hilda between the eyes killing her instantly as she dropped to the ground motionless.
Trifa only shook her head before turning her back "Get them both out of my sight. Like they weren't even here." She ordered as the men grabbed the corpse of Hilda and began dragging it away along with the other body of the boy that was killed as well.
On the outside of the property the entire of the group heard the gun shots and they could tell that Hilda didn't make it as they noticed the men dragging her body toward the edge of the cliff before throwing the body over it along with the child as well like they were noting but trash to them.
This really made Mars mad as she let out some kind of feral growl as her semblance nearly activated but Vanessa stopped her.
"I know your angry right now but we can't give ourselves away. The only thing we can do... is fall back for now. Now we know what they're up too so we can come up with a plan to take back the property but... we're going to need help for that." Vanessa said as the group had to full back and decided to head back to the capital.
Vanessa looked back one more time at the property as she silently swore that she would get some closure for Hilda and her son.
F3: This was a long one but it is done. Looks like Star has come arrived at Carmines hidden base and Woody is with her as the spy but also things are heating up back at the capital. Hopefully Vanessa has a plan and she's going to need help. If you readers like this story make sure to add a comment.
