So, I do not have a chapter ready. Sorry about that so I wrote a quick chapter about what Connor and Travis did while Peyton was in the casino. It will only cover one of the days because I am too lazy to write a full sized chapter. This is in Travis's POV btw
"I'm bored." Connor said.
I reached for a bag of chips that we had bought/stolen and threw it at him.
"What was that for!?" Connor cried out.
"I don't know. I'm bored too." I told him. We were leaning on some trees hidden from sight watching the yarn slowly turn. Peyton said time would be warped but watching the yarn makes me think she is walking in slo-mo.
"Travis, what are we gonna do? Pey said she might be in there for days!" Connor told me.
Oh, I forgot about that. Maybe we will just... die. Cuz, isn't that where we are going? To the underworld or something?
"If you are planning on killing me I will run in there and find Pey." Connor said.
I said that out loud?
"you said that out loud too, idiot." Connor stuck his tongue out at me.
I lept to my feet, "How do you even know that word?"
"Pey says it a lot when she is referring to her brother." Connor told me.
"Yeah, that makes sense." I nodded.
"So..." Connor said.
I plopped back onto the ground as we both said at the same time, "I'm bored."
"Want to see who can steal the most money by the time Pey gets out?" Connor asked.
The truth is, me and Connor had never stolen anything before today. Ok, that is a lie. We have stolen a lot of stuff. But, today was the first time we were actually that good at it.
I stuck out my hand for him to shake, after we shook it I said, "If she finds out though we will be dead."
"Then we could go with your plan of heading to the underworld that way!" Connor said happily before zooming off to rob unsuspecting tourists.
I know this was crap but I really wasn't into it today, tomorrows chapter will be a little better I hope.
