The world trembled as two giants trampled the earth beneath their feet. Their colors were like Ying and yang opposites that represented one another.
The last line of defense was easily destroyed and with their resources exhausted the army could not drop any N2 bombs.
Humanity was finally about to meet it's demise.

"Haaaaaah!" Covering the distance in four large steps Hikari slammed her fist on the Pope's shield which did nothing. "Ngh bastard!"
Furious she drew her katana and almost caught his face with the blade. Green eyes narrowed as his spear thrust forward. A second sword appeared and stopped his spear.
With extreme skill Julia pushed his weapon away. Using this chance Hikari swung her weapon repeatedly. Backing away the Pope blocked with his shield trampling over men women and anything beneath them.
"How are you still alive? We killed you" asked Julia as she ran in from the side.
"Idiots I cannot die" pushing Hikari back he cut Julia's stomach open. Red eyes widened as she fell to her knees in pain. "As gods messenger I must judge the sinners"
"Oh shut up, Tohji was innocent and so was Kensuke"
"Is that so? Then you're telling me the death of hundreds of thousands are fine? Is it truly okay to kill those who cannot defend themselves?"
Each question made Hikari feel smaller and smaller. Blinking Julia saw what he was doing. Before she could warn her comrade the Pope had surrounded Hikari in those golden lights.
"Hikari, it is time you met the man you love, and your mother!"
"HIKARI NO!"
Exploding into a thousand lights the girl was gone.
Only two giants remained and the pope was not feeling merciful today.
"Do you understand what I am doing?" He asked as he watched Julia standing despite her machine being wounded.
"I have no clue...but I want to kill you"
"Words of a sinner, and here I thought you would understand"
"Shut up, you claim to be some holy figure and yet you clearly declared war against the whole world the moment you produced your machine"
Smiling the Pope approached her slowly.
"Is that what they told you? What if I told you none of that was real? That this is all one false reality made up by one boy's imagination?"
Frowning Julia tried to focus, but her machine was at it's limit falling forward her time was up.
"Julia this world is all a mockery, I was the angel of might in the previous life and yet look at me now" spreading his arms the giant Pope covered her machine in the yellow particles.
"I took the form straight out of a fairy tale so I may remain isolated from humanity, and yet look at you, Lilith"
Her eyes widened as dozens of timelines, conversations, possibilities, probabilities all rushed through her head.
"N-no way..." She whispered as she leaned back in her seat.
"My brothers will soon start this world again, Lilith let us watch the world together just you and me"
Hands clasped around the controls, rage bubbled inside the creator of humanity. The reality was dumber than anyone could wish to believe however.
She would fight against those who wished to use her creation. "I'll kill you right here and now Zeruel"
Standing the Evangelion discarded all of it's armor. It's skin bubbled as it screamed to the world. "Fusing with your machine is pointless when I can end you right now Lilith" raising his wings Zeruel grinned.
The yellow lights flew inside the now deformed monster. Merging with her AT field he caused the field to overcharge and then explode.
As the monster glowed yellow Zeruel knew her end was now. "Goodbye Lilith"

"Shinji!" Screamed Maya as the blood covered boy stepped through the door to the command center. On one hand he carried his gun the other was dripping blood from where his elbow used to be.
Everyone was frozen as the boy scanned the room. Looking for his target he aimed his gun at Maya. His hand trembled and his eyes blurred.
Pulling the trigger the bullets missed their target and hit the ceiling. With his final round Shinji cursed his weakness. 'Father give me strenght, the strenght to avenge you'
Gloved hands grasped his gun, Gendo's spirit was with Shinji. Aiming towards the screens he fired. Falling forward Shinji finally passed away from blood loss.
Letting out a sigh Maya sat on her chair. "Phew, I thought I was dead for sure" chuckling she looked at where the bullet hit. An eye was looking inside.
A big black pit of death. "Oh sh-" two massive hands broke inside smashing everyone to blood paste.
With that done the angel continued down Lilith's body was near they would make their own world a reality.

Lights exploded in every direction. Zeruel blinked as he saw the body split in two. Blood rained over the base burning anything it touched. Backing away Zeruel felt his skin melting.
"What the hell is she doing?" He wondered as her figure stood up.
Humanoid and with no God complex. Lilith was standing just as tall Zeruel. She lacked clothes but for the moment she didn't need any. Stretching her hand towards the angel light particles flew in a wild storm.
"Lilith don't you dare!" He screamed infuriated.
With her other hand she closed it into a fist. His body turned to liquid. Filing it up with the lights Zeruel was now living inside a life with no consciousness a life where he was constantly being turned to paste for no reason and no absolute idea as to why.
Standing still she witnessed as the world started back up again.
Using her AT field she became immune to the changes. She wanted to see what the world would become now.

"Hey Shinji how about we go practice for this Christmas festival?" Asked Gendo.
"It's gonna be super embarrassing dancing to 80's pop music" commented the boy as he hung his head.
Laughing a woman with brown hair found this amusing. "Oh Shinji, your father's going to be with you so it'll be fine"
"Yeah son, just some good ol father and son bonding" added Gendo with his own smile.
"Heh...alright, but you better chose a good song" warned the boy just as the doorbell rang.
"Oh must be Kensuke, we have plans for today" opening the door Shinji smiled as he saw Asuka with Hikari, Tohji, Kensuke and Rei "come on slowpoke we're gonna be late for the movies"
Taking his wrist the red head smiled as she pulled him along. "Hey wait Asuka I haven't even taken my coat!"
"No time the movie starts in ten minutes!"
Watching the two run down the stairs Gendo laughed in joy. "You kids better go on or you'll be late as well" warned his wife to Tohji and his group.
"Yeah...I'll be seeing you around mister and miss Rokubungi" said Tohji as his group walked towards the stairs at a much slower pace.
"Oh Rei" called out Gendo to the blue haired girl who looked back with a raised brow. "Your mom called she said she'll be home tonight" a smile spread over her gentle features. "Thank you, uncle Gendo"
Watching them go the man was filled with Joy.
"You're such an idiot" joked his wife as she saw his grin. "Sorry, they're so innocent it reminds me of you, Yui"
Heading back inside the pair sat by the couch holding each other's hands in peace.

Laying her head on two soft legs Ritsuko was trying to figure out which word was missing. "How can you write Hope without and H?"
Pale hands grasped the cross words and signalled the possible areas.
"It should be here or here, it's not all that hard" tossing the book away Ritsuko stared at that heart shaped face, long blue hair that reached her waste and eyes the color of blood.
"Say Julia how long have we been together?" She asked making her partner frown. "You don't remember? We've been together for nineteen years now"
Nodding the blond knew however she wished to see what her partner's reaction would be. "Our anniversary is right around the corner"
"Our baby Rei is already fourteen years old" kissing Ritsuko on her forehead Julia was happy. "Misato is coming to visit today"
"One or..."
"Kaji's coming too"
"Do you think they'll ever get married?"
"Doubt it, but I heard from Kaji that Misato has been putting some extra weight"
"Oh my god...she's pregnant!"
Laughing Ritsuko nodded.

The world moved along, people enjoyed a mostly normal life. Their beliefs had drastically been changed however as the records of humanity dictate.
The joyful spirit met the inspiring soul. Their connection caused the beginning of humanity. And for all eternity the world would pray for the gods of Spirit and Soul.
