This one is based on the concept album, where Hades finds out about the speakeasy while Orpheus is there and a fight ensues. Cerberus the guard is also from this time period.

Shade

From the moment he entered Hadestown in its terrible splendor—too bright, too hot, too loud—Orpheus looked for relief from the light, heat, and noise. He had to find Eurydice, but he also had to stay safe; with the security head, Cerberus, on the prowl, it was dangerous to stay in one area for too long.

Finally, tucked away near a forgotten alley, he found a building that seemed out of place compared to those around it—wood instead of stone, and its façade welcoming instead of hard stone. Orpheus chanced a look in and gasped. There, Lady Persephone herself handed out contraband to the shades, who eagerly accepted her wares.

She welcomed Orpheus with open arms and more than a little curiosity, and when he told his story she agreed to hide him. The speakeasy felt like home, and Orpheus wrestled with the urge to stay.

But when Cerberus came through the doors with fury in her eyes, and Hades not far behind, Orpheus knew he'd stayed in the shade too long.
