Some time later, early one morning, Bill was as usual in the scrapyard, scrapping the wreck of an imperial shuttle, when he noticed a strange looking robot walking through the fields. The robot wore a metal looking hat and a purple coat, and carried a sword on its back. Bill approached the robot
"Are you a scrapper? Only scrappers are allowed here" said Bill
"I have a license to be here" the robot said showing him a license of some kind
The robot then held up a bounty poster for Rocky
"I'm hunting a dangerous fugitive for a big stack of cash. You wouldn't happen to know where he is, do you?"
"No, but I can help you look. I know these ships inside out. In exchange for part of the bounty" said Bill
"Part of the bounty? Fat chance"
"I just need a couple thousand credits to get me and my friend off world. Plus I hear rumors of squatters living in these ships. One of them could be your target. I know this guy, an enemy of queen Lucy, I find him I could possibly repair my reputation among her and her family" said Bill
"Alright, if it's only a couple thousand out of 20. What's your name? I'm scaramouche, from samurai jack battle through time"
"Gene. My name is gene" said Bill
Bill and Scaramouche looked through the ships, scanning them one by one for signs of squatters. After 2 hours, they found some life aboard one of the wrecked light cruisers. Upon investigating the wrecked bridge, sure enough they found rocky hiding. He tried to attack them, but scaramouche quickly subdued him in some kind of electric net.
"Good work helping me, I suppose you've earned your couple thousand credits. Let's get this criminal to Lucy" said scaramouche
Bill followed Scaramouche to his ship, falling asleep in the cockpit. He thought back to his first days in the empire
(Flashback, months ago)
Bill, now an imperial officer, walked through the equestrian settlement, watching citizens go about their lives as troopers patrolled the streets
"With your individual chain codes, you can exchange your worthless Lucy dollars for valid imperial credits, at no cost. Thanks to the generosity of the Galactic Empire" a hologram message played in the middle of the square "Soon there will be peace and freedom for all beings"
Bill smiled as he went to a restaurant for food. He hated having betrayed Vanellope and her family, but he believed in the imperial cause. Lucy was too dangerous for her own good, and Kevin and Vanellope were no better. Perhaps it was time for a change in leaders to serve. The imperials weren't that bad people, and neither were the ponies. Lucy had her chance with them and she blew it as far as he knew
(End flashback)
Bill was nudged awake by scaramouche. He saw they were in front of the hangar bay of Lucy 2, he was back in litwak city. Vanellope was waiting outside with Ralph and several super droids
"Wake up, we're here. Help me bring the prisoner out" said Scaramouche
Bill couldn't believe it, he was about to see Vanellope again. He hoped her learning about him capturing this pony would make her forgive him for what he did. As he carted rocky out of the ship, Vanellope looked at him.
"One prisoner as promised. Now I hear there's a large bounty I'm to be awarded" scaramouche asked
"Correction, you're getting 2 bounties. You just brought me a prisoner worth $7000" said Vanellope
Bill couldn't believe it, Vanellope still wanted him captured. She ordered some of the droids to detain him, which they did.
"Welcome home, Bill. Guards, take these 2 away" said Ralph
"You have a bounty? Oh baby what a stupid move you made coming with me. Hope you weren't expecting a pardon or something. Guess I'm keeping your share of the bounty" said scaramouche
Vanellope gave scaramouche a suitcase
"20 grand as promised, give me half an hour and I can get you Bills bounty" said Vanellope
"Guess this means no hard feelings on trying to kill your daughter a while back?" Scaramouche asked
"Not at all" said Vanellope
