Emotions Within
He ran his hands up over her body, trying to memorize each feeling as if he'd never touch her again. He allowed his hands to graze over her toned abdomen, feeling her muscles clench at his light touch as she let out a low gasp. Grunting, he ran his hands up under her breast and then to the middle part of her back where the straps were clasped. In one full motion he grasped at the bra, unclamping it, gracefully letting it fall off her shoulders.
Her breast was finally free. Wasting no time, he dipped his head and sucked on the delicate skin above her breast, leaving small kisses and bites as he made his way to her nipple. He almost drooled. Using his hand to cup her breast and placing his lips around her, he devoured her dark brown nipple, pulling gently on it with his lips.
She let out a breathy moan, as he bobbed away, now concentrating on her other breast. She held the back of his head as he flicked out his tongue and circled her areola before delving back in on her nipple. She was enjoying the view and feeling of his wet mouth massaging her nipple.
He felt her hand lift his face up, he released her nipple with a loud pop and gazed up in her eyes.
Her piercing amethyst eyes showed passion. She was so beautiful. He could stare at her for hours. Something radiated from within that made her irresistible to him, to many men he was sure.
He was startled when she pressed her breast against his bare chest and began placing sweet, intoxicating kisses down his neck. She stopped right above his collarbone, then kissing her way back up, allowing her lips to graze his Adam's apple before pausing at his lips.
He missed her. She missed him.
…..
Raven awoke suddenly, her thoughts in high definition. She squints, putting her hand up to shade her eyes from the bright rays of light that were seeping through the half-closed shades covering her window. Without a doubt she knew she had slept past her afternoon training with Robin. She heard the noise of the day in full swing, the traffic was heavy, horns blaring.
She groaned as she felt the familiar pulsating in her sensitive area. She turned on her side, closing her legs, trying to push the feeling away so she could finish the rest of her romantic dream. But the pressure of her thighs rubbing against each other heightened the sensation. The throbbing pleasure continued as she sighed heavily, reaching between her legs and rubbing her fingers against her clothed womanhood, trying to relieve the ache. Her thoughts swarmed her as she tried hard to shake away her emotions.
Her hands were firmly pressed on his shoulders as she leaned in and kissed at his lips. She rose her hips and landed on him repeatedly in a slow motion, basking in the feeling he made her feel between her legs.
Raven sighed, now struggling to push the pulsating ache she felt from her lower region. Of course, she had a dream about sex. Trying to ignore her urges, she rolled herself out of the large blanket she had on her and off of the bed and slid on her shoes. Rubbing at her head, the feeling of the headache she had felt earlier was starting to subside. She stood up and walked out of room.
"Thank you for staying with them," Raven spoke low as she looked at the two young children sleeping together on the couch. "Where's Melvin?"
"Bathroom," Karen spoke, placing a long blanket over the two young boys and then walking over to where the empath was sitting at in the kitchen.
"How old is Melvin?" Starfire sipped at her water slowly, smiling at the two children that were laying on the couch. "I just love watching the kids sleep, they are so peaceful."
Raven smiled. "Only when they are sleep. But Melvin just turned eleven, Timmy is six and Teether is three," she picked up a water bottle from the counter and took a big gulp. "I just had to take a quick nap; I'll be taking them home in the morning."
Karen nodded, suddenly smirking. "Understandable, it seems like your new boo has been wearing you out lately." The Titans East vigilante let out a small chuckle at the empaths surprised expression. "Oh, c'mon, Raven, your life is the only one that's actually interesting. "
Starfire laughed. "She is right, Raven."
"Karen literally has Victor, Kori," Raven stated, rolling her eyes at both of her friends.
Karen continued with her loud whispering, turning her body towards the girls. "I mean, Rae, you have a guy that will literally devour you without asking for anything in return. What girl wouldn't want that?" Out of the corner of Ravens eye, she saw Starfire nodding her head in agreement.
"Well, going off how loud you guys are on the daily in Cyborg's bedroom, I'd say you're the real lucky one, Karen." Kori let out another loud laugh at her two friends going back and forth. "Besides, it's not even like that."
"Have you told anyone besides us?"
Raven shook her head no. "Of course not."
"So…"
"We haven't had sex if that's what you're implying," Raven used her powers to lift herself on to the kitchen counter, sitting at the edge. "I can't even imagine myself sleeping with him…"
"So you're saying he doesn't turn you on to the point you crave his dick?"
"Look, I never said that—"
"Is he better than Richard?" Kori finally interjected, smirking at the small frown her empath friend gave her. A muffled laugh escaped out of Karen's mouth as she tried to contain her giggle. "What? These are real questions that need real answers."
"I agree, Kori," Karen glanced back at the napping children, making sure they were sleep before deciding to choose the words she wanted to say. "I just think that if he's already face deep in your pussy, you might as well let his dick get wet."
"Oh, God, Karen. Can you just shut up?" Raven hopped down from the counter top.
Kori chuckled, sitting herself down in one of the chairs at the kitchenette table. "I am very surprised you are even entertaining Red X."
"I'm not entertaining Jason, Kori," Raven rolled her eyes and shook her head.
Karen smirked, "You're right, I'm sure he's more entertained by the fact that he's eating out one of the hottest Titans."
Raven frowned, but glanced over at the door, sensing the older sibling come back through the room. She quickly turned back to her friends and hissed through her teeth, "Alright, we're done talking about this—Hey, Melvin, there's some leftover pizza if you're still hungry."
Melvin shrugged, sliding in the chair next to the empath. "I'm not hungry. While you were asleep Robin grilled us burgers. They were good." Raven bit at the inside of her jaw and discreetly glanced at Kori and Karen. Melvin seemed to sense the hesitation of her older adult friend, but continued, "Is that okay? Bobby said it was ok."
The empath's face softened once the name of the child's imaginary stuffed hero was brought up. Raven reached forth to grabbed the young girl's hand. "Of course, it's okay. I'm just surprised he helped out…"
"I think he likes you," Melvin whispered, playfully, smiling, toothily. "I think you should talk to him."
"Oh, they've already done more than talking, honey," Karen blurted out with a small laugh.
Raven snapped her head towards the direction the Titans East heroine was in and twisted her lips into a frown, glaring daggers. "Thank you, Karen and Kori, but I think I can handle it from here." She dismissed her two snickering friends, rolling her eyes at them as they finally walked out of the room. Raven sighed, directing her attention back at the young girl.
"Did I do something wrong?" Melvin said softly.
Raven shook her head and held out her hand, issuing for the girl to grab it, which she did. In an instant, they were immediately transported to the roof of the tower by Raven's powers. Melvin gasped, letting go of the empaths hand and slowly walking towards the edge of the building looking out.
"I've always wanted to come up here," Melvin stated, still in awe of the view of Jump City from the top of the Titans Tower. "My brothers are going to be so jealous you brought me up here, Raven." She sat down at the edge of the building, letting her feet dangle.
"Then we'll just have to keep it a secret between us girls," Raven smiled at the girl's fearlessness, and sat down next to her, viewing the busy city from the top of the tower.
Melvin wasn't the same little girl Raven remembered rescuing almost three years ago. She was much taller, almost coming close to her shoulder if she was standing up. Her rich blue eyes sort of sparkled as the sunlight reflected off of them, her high blonde ponytail (she assumed Karen did) shook in the wind as a warm breeze passed by through them. Her body language was relaxed and Raven sensed a calmness within the young girl. She smiled at the way she had matured so much throughout the years. She couldn't believe she was now eleven years old…
A few moments of silence passed before the young girl spoke up, turning her head towards the older girl. "Raven, can I ask you a question?"
Raven nodded her head.
"Are you guys splitting up?"
The empaths eyes widened. "What do you mean?
Melvin turned her attention back towards the direction of the busy city, resting her elbows behind her and leaning back. "The Titans. Are you guys splitting up?"
"No, what makes you think that?" Raven stated lowly. "What all did Kori and Karen talk to you about while I was asleep? For future references, don't listen to those two." Raven smiled once she heard the younger girl let out a light laugh. "I'm serious, Mel. Their conversations are not…childproof."
"You know I'm eleven now, Raven."
"I know, and I know you're getting older," Raven placed her hands behind her head and lied back on the warm concrete of the roof, allowing her feet to dangle from the building. "But there's nothing wrong with being a kid, okay?" She stared into the sky.
"Well, Karen just said you and Robin don't get along…but he's your leader, you guys have to get along, right?" Melvin's big blue eyes were staring into her amethyst ones.
Raven scoffed, but continued to stare into the sky, feeling the innocent gaze of the young girl she started to accept as a little sister. Sighing, she decided not to bring up the topic of love and what it could do to the mind of someone attached to it. Maybe when she's older…
"Robin and I just have some differences we're dealing with. I still respect him as my leader, as a man, as my…" she hesitated, suddenly lost for words. Friend? Is that what she was about to say? Was he her friend now?
You wish he could be your friend…or at least friends with your—
Raven shook her head, trying to empty the thoughts of Lust's out of her head. She hadn't been thinking sexually about Richard for months…she was not about to succumb to those emotions…or at least she wasn't about to act on them.
She sighed, her mind drifting back to the sensual dream she had earlier. She bit the inside of her jaw, suddenly frustrated that she couldn't remember who it was that was in her dream.
"I thought I'd find you guys up here," the low voice made the girls turn around. Richard
Melvin smiled, "Raven was just showing me the city…I really wish we didn't have to leave tomorrow."
Richard took a couple steps forward, meeting the girls at the edge of the tower. He took a deep breath, but kept his gaze in the direction of the city. "Maybe we can find an area closer to the tower for you and your brothers so that you can see Raven more often. What do you think about that?"
Melvin's eyes immediately lit up with excitement. She glanced over at her "big sister" for confirmation, who smiled at her reaction.
Raven finally spoke. "I think it'll be great to have you guys closer, Melvin. We might even be able to help you guys control your powers." Raven stood up off of the ground and brushed off her hands, Melvin followed her lead. "I'm sure Robin will be able to set things up." Out of the corner of her eyes she could see the Boy Wonder smiling in her direction.
"I can't wait to tell my brothers." Raven let out a low gasp as Melvin quickly wrapped her arms around her, giving her a tight squeeze. The empath had had many hugs from her past, both unexpected and expected, but there was something so warm, so right about a hug coming from Melvin, her little sister. She sighed as she returned the embrace with the same amount of warmth.
"I am sure they'll be just as excited," Raven smiled once they had finally pulled apart. She watched as the younger girl ran to the door that led back inside of the tower.
"You're good with her," Richard finally spoke to the empath. "You're good with all of them actually."
"Well, throwing me on an unexpected mission with little kids will do that to you."
Richard chuckled lowly, taking a couple steps forward before standing at the edge of the tower. "I always knew you could handle it. Even though you were always so uptight."
"I was not uptight."
He kept his attention towards the city but smiled, "Those kids changed you, because you definitely were uptight…but not anymore." He let out a loud laugh at the empath who rolled her eyes at him. He saw a small smile in the corner of her lips start to grow. "I haven't seen that in a long time."
She turned her head towards him and rose her eyebrows questioningly. "What?"
"You're smile…"
"Don't do this…" Raven shook her head, debating if she wanted to follow Melvin's lead and head back inside.
"What? I can't talk with my friend?"
The empath sighed and rolled her eyes, scoffing, "Oh, we're friends now?"
"Yea, I would think so," Richard stifled out a small breathy laugh. "We were friends before everything..."
Raven bit at her lip, "I should go."
"Why can't we work things out, Raven? I mean it's been almost a year."
She knew it. She just knew he'd say something. It had been too long since they had even conversated with each other or even had a moment alone. Outside of being in battle, she and Richard had not been speaking, or even interacting with each other. Yet for once, she was okay with that. However…there was something about him that still sparked an interest deep inside her.
There will always be something…
"What do you mean, work things out, Richard?" She crossed her arms over her chest, raising one of her eyebrows. "I hope you're not implying we should get back together—"
"Can we at least talk?" he took a step towards her, but she took a step back. "Raven, please, we don't even communicate. We barely even look at each other..."
The tension was so thick, you could almost see it sitting right in between the two ex-lovers. It was almost suffocating. There was so much he had wanted to say to her, so much he needed to express. But the words seemed to be lodged in his throat, he just needed to say something, anything, to break the pressure. He was sure she felt it too.
Raven shook her head. "You don't get it do you?"
"What is there to get, Raven? Please, help me to understand."
"You think you should matter to me still, knowing that I'm trying to heal from you, knowing me pushing myself away from you was for a reason," the empath took a deep breath before looking up into his bluish sad eyes.
She could sense his emotions. The sadness in his eyes penetrated right through her, skating over her skin. Even on the hot summer afternoon, his projecting aura was giving her the chills, making her feel something she didn't want to feel for this man. She wanted to walk away, she needed to be alone, needed to meditate, to somehow not allow herself to feel for him anymore.
"You don't have to push me away, Raven. I know I messed up with you, but please, I need you, you're the only one that understands me," Robin took a shy step forward, reaching out to grab at the empaths hand.
As soon as she felt his touch, she immediately sensed the spark: The passion, the connection, the love, the memories. She was reliving all of the feelings Richard felt, the bottled-up emotions, the things he didn't know how to express, and the intense feelings he still held for her. She gasped at the overwhelming jar of emotions that was being propelled towards her, almost taking over her psyche, she instantly pulled away from him.
"Richard…" Her breath was shaky.
"Even if we can't be together anymore, can we at least talk to each other…? Will you at least give me that, Raven?" He reached out for her once more, but she took a step back off the edge of the tower allowing her powers to elevate her into the air away from him. He sighed, letting his arm fall back to his side, as she was now out of his reach.
"I know you still feel it," the Boy Wonder continued, "I know you still feel the link." Robin got as close to the edge as he could while still staring into the amethyst eyes of the empath. "Tell me you don't feel anything for me, Raven…tell me."
In all honesty, as much as Raven wanted to let go of those memories, the connection she still had for Robin, she just wanted to feel again, she missed that feeling of being wanted, being loved. She needed to feel that emotion that had become second nature to her, the oxygen that she needed to breathe. There was a deep-rooted part of her soul that understood that connection, that love, but another part of her didn't want to admit that.
Tell me you don't feel anything for me, Raven…
She sighed. She missed the way she melted around him, the way her cheeks would heat up whenever he would talk to her, the way she would get butterflies whenever he laughed, the way his lips felt against hers, the way he made love to her. He was the first person to introduce her to those feelings. The first person she ever loved, ever truly wanted, and needed.
There was so much she felt for this man. But why couldn't she just express it to him?
The door opening to the rooftop creaked open, bringing Raven back from the nostalgic emotions. Both the two Titans stared at the intruder that had interrupted the moment.
"Melvin said you let her on the rooftop," Timmy whined, holding the hand of his big sister who held a big toothy grin on her face. "I wanna see too."
Raven sighed but smiled as she hovered towards the two siblings, feeling the heated gaze of the Boy Wonder on the back of her neck as he was still awaiting her answer, she was sure.
"You have been up here for hours, Raven," Karen sarcastically stated as she was coming through the door, holding a still sleeping Teether in her arms. Her eyes slightly widened once she realized the empath hadn't been alone on the rooftop. "Oh, Robin…umm hey, kids how about we come back a little later—"
"Let them stay," Robin half smiled at the eagerness of the two siblings as they ran to where he was at the edge of the tower. "I was just leaving anyway."
The Boy Wonder walked past the two superheroes before grabbing onto the door knob of the tower exit door. He turned to look at the empath one more time. "Good talking to you, Raven." He licked at his lips, and half smiled before walking through the door and shutting it completely behind him.
"Oh okay, so you still sneaking around with Bird Boy and didn't tell me?"
Raven 'shh'd' her friend, taking Teether out of her arm and holding his sleeping form against her. "We can talk later, let me put him back down."
Karen scoffed, but allowed her friend to walk away from her. "Don't do anything stupid, Raven."
