So guys today is the day that the Advanceshipping story came out. The other story's chapter is about to come out so chill out. Please review because that's the only way I'll know that you like it. This will be like the other story because it'll follow the journey from the very beginning to the end. Anyone I hope you enjoy and please give me feedback.

Ash and Brock had just made their way to the Hoenn region and although Ash had gone to a new region before, he never felt so rejuvenated before. He was given specific instructions from professor Oak to meet professor Birch. So obviously that was his first course of action.
Ash and Brock started to walk and Ash started to reflect on Kanto and Johto but even after thinking about it for a while, he couldn't be sad because he was thinking of the future too much. These thoughts were stopped pretty quickly though because of a scream he had heard.

May Maple was on her bike to see professor Birch and being the daughter of a gym leader put massive pressure on her to impress wherever she could but she couldn't care less about Pokémon. So when she saw that professor Birch was out she decided to look for him to get this over with. However after twenty minutes of looking she couldn't find him so she sat down behind a tree and waited.
She was completely relaxed in her bike suit but was forced to leap into action when a bunch of wolf-like Pokémon went after her. She started screaming and went on her bike to run away but the bike broke so she had to run on foot. She was praying that she wouldn't be killed and her prayers had been answered when Ash showed up.

Ash went straight for the Poochyenas and managed to beat them all before offering his hand to the frightened girl. "Hey I'm Ash" the boy said with a smile. May pulled herself up and responded with "I'm May, thank you so much for saving me." "No problem, this is Brock btw" Ash pointed to a taller man with tan skin, who shook her hand. "Hey, what are you doing out here without a Pokémon, you could've got yourself killed" He said in a caring but somehow still threatening tone. "Well I was looking for professor Birch when those wolves attacked me." She said in a sad tone. Ash picked up on this tone and tried to comfort her "it's okay just be more careful, would you like to travel with us? We are going to Birch as well." "Yeah sure that would be great" she said with a smile while lightly blushing.
Ash looked at her clearly for the first time and felt himself getting lost in her beauty. He never really liked or even thought about girls but something about her. It may have been her hair, or her caramel skin, or maybe her other parts but he couldn't put his finger on it. However instead of thinking about this longer, he just tried to make conversation "so, May, will this be your first Pokémon or have you had experience before?" Ash asked. "My first one, my dad is the 5th gym leader and he wanted me to start my Pokémon journey but to be honest I don't like Pokémon that much. What about you?" May responded calmly. "Oh this would be my third region I'm visiting. Well why don't you like Pokémon?" Ash said. "Well I find them freaky," "Well okay, but you do know that there are cute Pokémon right?" But before May could answer they reached Birch's lab.
When they went inside Birch gave her the choice of Treecko, our lord Mudkip, and Torchic. She chose Torchic because she found it the cutest which Ash hoped would make her like Pokémon. Birch also decided to give Mudkip to Brock and Treecko to Ash for saving May. Ash and co. went outside and Ash and Brock were about to say goodbye to May but May convinced them to travel together. May had one stop to make before they went out on their journey and that was her house.
On their way, May bonded with her Torchic and even found out had to fight with it, thanks to Ash. When they reached the house, it was dark, so Caroline and Norman invited them to stay the night and after explaining the situation to her parents, they were more than willing to let her go with Ash. The last person they met was Max, who looked professional, until dinner time.
At dinner, when Max sat down he said "what's the deal between you two?" Ash heard this but didn't quite understand so he said "what do you mean?" "Well are you two dating?" Ash and May heard this and they went bright red. They both said no even though they both thought they were attractive and probably wouldn't mind if they dated. Everyone else laughed but May wanted to kill Max. After dinner they had a quick rest and got ready but Max begged his mom and dad to let him go and they both said yes so that meant the final group was Brock, Ash, May and Max.
Max took a liking to Brock because he seemed like the most knowledgeable out of all of them, while May and Ash kept talking and learning about each other. May learned about why Ash loved his Pokémon so much and decided to give them a second chance as well as learning that he could be big headed but still caring, kind and funny. Ash also learned about how she used to date this guy Drew but he left for Johto. Which for some reason made Ash jealous, angry and relieved all at the same time. However before Ash could question her further, May's eye was caught by a caterpillar like Pokémon called Wurmple.
She thought this was the perfect time to give Pokémon a second chance and decided to catch it. Since her Torchic had type advantage she had a pretty easy time battling it and then it was pretty easy catching it, only needing a little help. The group decided to stop for the night because it was getting late and they were getting tired. Max decided to help Brock with cooking, while May and Ash decided to go on a walk where they talked more and more. Ash couldn't stop looking and admiring her and he always felt like she was teasing him. May noticed these looks and was flattered by them rather than disgusted and decided to give some looks to Ash herself. This was cut short by the call for dinner from Brock, so they walked back and they stared at each other for the entire dinner. They went to bed but all they could do was think about each other.
