Callie has regrets. The poem is told through her point of view. Brandon and Callie become teenage parents to a diabetic child named Taylor. They didn'the plan for Taylor, but they love him anyway. They have a daughter named Stella Selah Foster later on.

Time Period: A Flashback

Scene 1: Brandon's car

Action: Brandon and Callie are heading home from the grocery store when they receive bad news about their premature baby

Brandon (driving the car): We surely brought a lot of items for Taylor and ourselves at the store

Callie (looking back at the grocery bags on the backseat): I know

Brandon: I am looking forward to bringing Taylor home. We are so ready for him.

Callie (answering her cellphone): Hello, this is Callie. Who is this?

A nurse (on the other end): Hello, Callie. I am a nurse that is calling from the hospital.

Callie (worried): What is Taylor's current status?

The Nurse: Taylor is barely holding on. You and Brandon should come to the hospital asap.

Callie (choked up, she ends the call): I thank you for the update.
