v Two days had passed since Adora had arrived. The evenings spent with Catra going through photo albums of her and Finn. She made sure to include some old photos of when she was pregnant. There were moments when Catra would catch tears threatening to leave the Alpha's eyes. Each time placing a reassuring hand on Adora's knee. She would repeat, "It's ok, you're here now."

Adora would only give her a soft look, internally apologizing. So, each time Catra would keep moving forward and show the Alpha a new picture or a photo of a piece she made. Adora listened and soaked in each and every word. Finn would jump in tell their version of a photo, as if they remembered the moments. Of, course most times they were wrong. Catra would only giggle and tell the correct story.

Eventually, Finn got sleepy and cuddled into their sire's lap. Adora looked down fondly and stroked their golden hair.

Catra didn't realize she was staring. She mentally took a picture, When the Alpha looked up and glanced at her with a smile. She motioned her head to a photo, "You two lookin all sharp and snazzy there."

"This day …" Catra paused with a slight giggle, "This day Scorpia had a job interview. So, I figured that I would take Finn into the office with me. We had matching business outfits that I was eager to try out. I took pictures before we left."

Adora looked at the photo, "You both look like your gonna do some kind of hostile take over."

Catra groaned in embarrassment. She placed her hand on the photo, waiting to turn the page. "Well, that was what I was picturing in my head. Turns out that a well known philanthropist unexpectedly stopped by. She saw a piece I posted online and wanted to see it in person. Long story short, we were just about to finish the sale when the spawn of your loins yells, "Momma look!" I turn and see them covered in red paint making smears on bottom of the painting!"

Adora stifled a giggle. Covering her mouth with her hands and shaking her head.

"Well I jumped up and yelled, "Finn Noooo!" only for them to slowly turn around with a smile. Then your child smiles and says, "Fuck." Like it was a normal thing to say.

Adora laughs, "So no sale then?"

Catra jumps from her seated position, "Amazingly, She took the piece!"

Adora gave a skeptical look.

The Omega began pacing back and forth. "I apologized and scooped up the kitten. They were a mess and I ran them into the washroom to wipe off the dripping paint. I came back out and began apologizing again. Mind you; this lady was known as a crewed business woman. She was standing in front of the piece, not saying anything. Internally, I was panicking and a hot mess, but managed to keep my composure (Side note: She didn't)."

Catra paused and turned to the Alpha. "I'll take it." She said.

I was in shock. I tried to retort anything but nothing came out.

She simply turned to me. "I was going to turn it down and walk away. I felt like it was missing something. But this…. this is what it was missing. Not to mention your child made me laugh. I haven't been this amused in months. This will be a fun story to tell my clients if they ask about this piece in my office."

Adora laughed, "Did Finn get any commission?"

Catra groaned, fell onto the couch with an arm covering her eyes. She let out a small laugh, "Finn got a small mini castle that is in the corner of my office with a nice little keypad to keep them safely away from any paint or pieces when I just have to take them if needed. Hopefully that'll keep them tucked away should another billionaire come waddling into my office unannounced."

"Soooo, just a castle? That's it?" Adora teased.

Catra peeked out from under her arm and scoffed.

The Omega smiled, "Wanna put Finn into their bed. Pretty sure they are out for the night."

Adora nodded. She had been wanting to spend some alone time with the Omega. So, she carried the kitten to their room, placed them on the bed and give a loving kiss on their head."

When she came out Catra was just leaving the kitchen with a glass of wine and a bottle of beer, "Figured we could relax a little."

Adora felt a little jolt of electricity run over her skin, "Yeah, of course."

Catra offered the open bottle to the Alpha. As Adora took it, their fingertips brushed just a little.

"Thanks," Adora motioned towards the couch, noticing Catra's tail flicking.

There was a silence. Adora took a drink while trying to maintain eye contact. Catra looked outside the window and took a sip of wine. She was biting the bottom of her lip. With another flick of her tail, "Was… was there anyone else?"

Adora was quiet but never looked away, "No."

Catra looked at the Alpha.

"I…" Adora took a breath, "After I saw you, Scorpia and Finn. I was confused and angry." She paused, interrupting herself. "I know, now, that I was wrong." Adora continued." When I dove back into work, there were other Omega's practically throwing themselves at me."

Catra shifted uncomfortably and took a big drink from her glass. She turned waiting for Adora to finish.

Adora sighed, "I thought you moved on…"

Catra's tail lashed.

The Alpha cleared her throat, "I was pent up one night. I found a magicat. We talked and it got a little hot and heavy."

Catra's claws began to slide out. For a second, Adora felt like the Magicat was gonna shatter her glass of wine.

The Alpha waved both her hands up. "Nothing happened!"

Blue and Gold eyes shifted to the Alpha.

Adora let out a heavy sigh, "I… I just couldn't. She. She wasn't you."

Catra took another drink from her glass and ran her hands through her hair. She rubbed two of claws together, "Damned right she wasn't." She replied in a calm yet scary tone.

The Omega raised and eyebrow, shrugged her shoulder and simply replied, "What? You're not the only one who can be jealous."

Adora could hear the tone in her voice. Soft, confident with just a touch of sultry.

Catra got up and slowly walked past the Alpha, "I'm going to bed now." She turned and looked down, "I'll see you in the morning."

When the Omega entered her room and closed the door. All the confidence she had just shown slipped out of her body as a wave of relief poured out of her. She slid down and as quietly as she could, she cried.

The Omega woke up to cluttering noise, giggles and the smell of food. And, thank the gods, the food smelled delicious. She pushed the tissues of tears from last night off and into the bucket next to her bed. She went to the wash room and cleaned her face.

Her mouth practically watered as she stepped out.

"Momma!" Finn yelled sitting on the counter top. "Me and Adowa are making breakfast!"

Adora turned with a smile, "Yes, Finn has been a very good and messy helper."

Catra wrapped her arms around little Finn and gave them a little kiss, "Good morning."

She watched as Adora scrambled to put everything on their plates. "Please. Please have a seat."

Catra grabbed Finn off the counter and placed them in their highchair, "Don't mind if I do. It smells delicious." She looks at Adora skeptical, "Since when do you cook?"

Adora rubbed the back of her neck and let out a soft laugh, "Well, I did have to feed myself. And well believe it or not I had made a friend who was a chef that specialized in tiny foods."

"Tiny food!" Finn repeated.

"Not so tiny anymore." Adora smiled as she placed Finn and Catra's food down.

Catra toyed with the eggs. "Looks pretty normal to me," She teased.

"Just wait till you try it." Adora smugly replied. "Wait! I gotta pour this sauce over the eggs."

The Alpha ran into the kitchen. She came back and began to spoon some Hollandaise sauce over the eggs.

Catra's tastebuds danced with joy. She moaned out, "Oh my gawd, this is so good."

Adora took a bite and swallowed, "It's all in the portion and the science."

Catra giggled, "That's some damned good science."

They spent the next week with more pictures and story sharing. When Finn would dose off for the night, Adora would place them in their bed and return to share stories of some of the things she would find while she was taking Hordak and Prime down. Many stories that she thought shouldn't exist because they were so horrific. Some stories that worried Catra because they were stories of how she got some scars.

Adora showed Catra a deep scar that ran down her back. She got in a knife fight and almost lost. When Adora pulled up her shirt to show the Omega, she almost jumped out her skin when she felt Catra's gentle hand softly tracing the scar. Her heart was racing, but it almost stopped when she felt the Omega's arm wrap around her slowly. She could faintly hear the Omega as she gently tightened her hold, "I'm so happy you've come back to us."

It was in that moment, those words, that the Alpha realized that she stood a chance at winning the love of her life back and maybe it wouldn't take a lifetime to do so.
