Hello people of the internet, no im not dead, to be honest i just never got around to finishing the next chapter, i had the first half of it written after i had published the last chapter, but had just got busy and telling myself 'I'll finish it tomorrow' until i had just forgot it entirely until like a week ago when i suddenly remembered and decided to finish it and although i doubt anyone still here considering i haven't updated it in like a year now,but to those who are still here or just happen to stubble upon it, i hope you enjoy and remember reviews or any type of feed back are always appreciated'Telepathy''Thought'Please excuse any grammer mistakes, i don't own pokémon obviously
*Swish* I could hear the sound of waves as I opened my eyes to a familiar sight, the Shalour gym towering over a sea of blue, the sun poking out above as it started to set the sky a mixed hue of orange, yellow, and pinks. I could feel myself smile as the distant screeches of wingulls and the wind flooded my ears, it was a sight I had seen many times, but no matter how many times I've seen it, it still astounds me 'It probably always will' I thought to myself as I could feel a strong gust of wind run through my hair
I let out a sigh and closed my eyes before I leaned back onto my palms letting my head fall back towards the sky as a sense of relaxation and calmness took over my body. people I've met always ask me 'what's the best part about living in Shalour city? or How do you relax?' and my answer is always this, I guess you could say the beach has always been my happy place, it's somewhere I can go to find a quiet place and just relax 'Although...I feel like somethings missing' I thought to myself before feeling something warm touch my left hand before it hit me
'If course, how could I forget' I thought as a huge smile spread over my face as I opened my eyes and looked to my left hand where Ana's hand was on top of mine before looking up to her face where she was giving me a funny look 'Master, you haven't said anything for so long, It's almost as if you forgot I was here' she said before looking away with a pout before I started laughing 'What's she so funny' she asked angrily 'Sorry Sorry' I jokingly apologized 'It's just you look so cute when you make that face' I confessed as she gazed at me confused before I could see her face turn bright red before looking away and taking her hand off mine which took me aback 'Wait, Ana, I'm sorry I didn't mean to upset you' i explained worried as she had never reacted like that before I could hear her whisper something along the lines of 'You don't get it'
' Huh? ' I asked before she turned around her half-lidded eyes locking on with mine as I could hear myself gulp as I gazed into her sparkling apricot-colored eyes along with her flushed face 'What's going on ' I thought to myself as I could feel my face heat up 'I've never seen her make such an expression' I added before Ana slowly put her hand atop mine once again making my whole body tense up before she slowly scooted closer to me making me look back to her face where her expression hadn't changed besides her lips were now slightly parted, before she started moving her face closer to mine 'Wait what do I do' I screamed at myself in my mind to scared to move or do anything as she slowly moved her face closer and closer to mine until I could feel her hot breath on my lips, my eyes still locked onto hers 'Wait she's not really going to...?' i asked myself before time slowed and I could feel my heart beating so fast I felt like it was about to explode as she moved once more before I could feel my eyes slam open back to reality
"Good your finally awake" I could hear a voice say to my left "Huh" I asked seeing the wooden ceiling of the cabin as I opened my eyes "You know you're a real hard sleeper" Ash joked as I set up from the bed with a yawn "Is that so" I asked as I rubbed my eyes "Yea I've been trying to wake you up for a good ten minutes, but you started creeping me out when you started mumbling in your sleep" ash explained with a laugh making me tense up as memories of the dream rushed back into mind "Wait really, what did I say" I asked nervously hoping I didn't say anything weird "Oh I'm not sure, i couldn't really make anything out" he answered "Why, what did you dream about" he questioned "Oh...um I don't really remember" I replied letting out a sigh of relief
"Oh, yeah why were you trying to wake me up anyway" I asked "Oh yeah, Serena wanted to know if you wanted to go on a jog with us" he explained "Sure sounds like fun" I answered "Speaking of which, where is everyone" I added after looking around the room "Everyones waiting outside for us" he clarified "Really? ok I'll be out in a second" I said while swinging the covers off myself and walking over to my suitcase and grabbing a pair of shorts and a T-shirt while ash walked over to the door "Alright don't keep us waiting for too long" he said with a chuckle before walking out the door
'Oh yea I wonder if Ana woke up during that' I thought before taking a peek out the bathroom door where I saw her under the blanket 'I'll let her sleep a little long' I added before closing the door to the bathroom and quickly finished changing
'Ah much better' I thought to myself not wearing hot pajama pants anymore, before noticing Ana's sleeping form under the blanket 'Oh yeah I should probably wake her up' I thought before walking over to her side of the bed where I pulled the cover off "Come on Ana, time to get up" I whispered while slightly nudging her before she grasped my hand and pushed it against her face
"Huh" I said aloud as a blush spread over my face "Ana are you really asleep or are you just messing with me" I asked to no answer "Wow I guess she's really asleep" I said answering myself before looking down noticing her sleeping face and couldn't help but think She looks so cute right now' the blush on my face still there as I removed my hand from her face and patted the top of her head before dragging one of my fingers along one of her crests, I could feel my heart beat faster as a small smile came over her face before the dream I had returned fresh in my mind as I retracted my hand from her head as if I had touched a hot stove
'What am I doing' I thought to myself before shaking my head 'Come on, Ash and everyone else has been waiting long enough' I added before turning back to Ana and shaking her a little harder this time "Come on Ana time to get up" I said before she sat up with a cute yawn "Good Morning master" she finally said after opening her eyes "Good Morning to you too" I said with a smile "Now come on the others have been waiting for us" I said a little hurriedly now
"Wait where are we going" she asked confused "We're all gonna go on a run, and your company would be nice" I explained before she let out a little sigh before smiling "Oh master, what would you do without me" She said annoyingly "Yea yea I get it" I said in a fake annoyed voice "Now let's go" I added while holding out my arms before Ana nodded and jumped into my arms "Ok you ready" I asked while setting her on my shoulder
"Yep" she replied before I ran out the door
"Ta-da here's the concept, it's called friends" Serena explained while holding up a drawing of all of our pokemon, it was only a little after we had got back from the lodge where professor Sycamore told us our next challenge will be to make pokevision videos and with team Squirtle already in the lead it was important that we win this one to catch up "So those are supposed to be are Pokemon" Ash asked "Yep, they are all gonna be are stars" Serena confirmed "Do you think you can handle that Ana" I asked while looking down to where she was sitting on my lap
"Of course that will be no problem"she responded smugly "Just be yourselves and everything will go great and ill be in charge of making sweet pokepuffs" Serena added with a smile "Alright, we can't lose" Bonnie said while pumping her fist in the air ash will quickly agreeing "Yea guys we got this" before we all could hear Clemont start laughing
"Yes we have this in the bag guys" he said while pushing his glasses to his face while reflecting the light in the room somehow "I've learned from my past mistakes and the future is now thanks to science" he exclaimed while pulling a black box from his bag "Do you have any clue what's going on" I asked Ana telepathically "your guess is probably better than mine" she responded equally as confused as the box turn into what looked like a walking camera "Revised and better than ever my new invention the poké shooter Mark 2" he explained while me and Ana could only deadpan "Oh Ash I actually have a few more kinks I need to work out so could you assist me" Clemont asked "Sure no, prob" Ash answered
"Hey big brother can I help also" Bonnie asked
"Sure the more the better" He said with a smile
After me and Ana had recovered from what we had just scene I walked over to Serena "Hey do you mind if me and Ana help you make the Poképuffs" I asked before she gave me a confused look before she smiled "Of course that would be great" she replied "Well we should probably head out now" she added as I gave a nod and we said goodbye to the rest of the group
"So is there a certain reason you wanted to make poképuffs" Serena asked curiously after we had left the cabin "Well I actually do quite a bit of baking at home so, although I've never made poképuffs before I'd like to learn how to make them" I explained "Really I wouldn't have guessed" she said surprised "Yea, I'd like to think I'm pretty good too" I said with pride as memories of me and Ana in the kitchen at my home baking a cake for the first time filled my mind
'We may have burnt a lot of different cakes in the beginning, but with some practice, me and Ana can bake a pretty good cake now' I thought with a smile before I could hear Ana snickering in my arms "Ana here is a pretty good baker too, she helps me a lot in the kitchen" I added "Really" Serena exclaimed as Ana nodded in agreement
"Yea, but I've never made poképuffs before so I thought I'd give it a try" I explained "Well I'm happy I can be the one to teach you, I'd say I'm pretty good so you can trust me" she said with a smile as I returned one before looking down to Ana
"This is great Ana if we learn how to make poképuffs that mean we will be one step closer to our dream" I told her telepathically "What do you mean, master" she asked "Well typically in performance shows they have a sort of elimination sort of challenges, one of the more common ones being poképuffs, so if we learn how to make them now it will get us clear of one goal already" I explained with a smile "Ah I see master, that is great, I can't wait to be on stage with you" She responded in understanding "Do you mean that" I asked surprised not expecting that response making her look up to me "Of course master, it makes me so happy that you have a dream to strive for and the fact that I'm part of it makes me even happier, remember I'll always be there for you and I'm with you every step of the way" she explained with a smile and a small blush 'Does she really mean that' I thought to myself taken aback as I could feel my cheeks heat up before I let a smile take over my face "Thanks Ana, you don't know how much your words mean to me" I confessed while patting the top of her head
"Are you talking to Ana right now" I could hear Serena ask bringing me out of my trance "Oh yeah I am, how could you tell?" I asked "Well whenever you use telepathy you always have this concentrated look on your face" she explained with a laugh "Oh, sorry I didn't mean to make you feel left out" I apologized "Oh no, it's fine really, if I could talk to my Pokemon I would talk to them all the time too" she reassured "Anyways let's go make some delicious Poképuffs" she exclaimed excitedly before running off in the direction of the lodge with me and Ana following behind
"Wow this is really good Axel" Serena said surprised after taking a bite of the poképuffs me and Ana made "Is this really your first time making poképuffs" Serena added "Yea it is, but it's probably cause your such a good teacher" I said with a goofy smile as I scratched the back of my neck nervously 'I'm so glad that these came out so good' I thought before I could feel Something punch me lightly in the side before turning and seeing Ana look away while crossing her arms "You did a really good job too Ana" Serena stated before I could ask Ana why she punched me "I really wasn't expecting you to use your physic power to stir the pokepuffs mix" she added with a smile while looking to where she was on the table "Kirl Kirlia" she responded in poké speech "She said thank you, and yeah she usually handles the stirring" I explained "Well we should probably put these away, right" I asked to which Serena just nodded before we wrapped them up and put them in the fridge for later
"Thanks again Serena, it means a lot" I said with a bow "Kirla kirl" Ana agreed "Really it was no problem, besides I basically just told you the basics and you picked up on it right away so I really didn't do much" she said while waving her hands reassuringly "Still without you I wouldn't have known where to start and they probably wouldn't have come out as good as they did, so thanks" I explained as Serena looked at me quizzically before smiling "In that case, your welcome" She said accepting my thanks
"Hey you three" we could hear a familiar voice say before turning around and seeing Shauna running towards us "Oh hey Shauna" "Whats up" "Kirla" All three of us greeted in unison once Shauna got to us "Hello to you all too" she greeted with a smile "Did you guys just finish making your poképuffs too" she asked "Yea and they all came out great" Serena answered "Did yours turn out good too" i asked "Yea they did" she replied "You know Axel, i wouldn't peg you as the baking type though" she confessed "Well most people wouldn't but I'd like think im pretty good at it" I told her with a nervous smile "Well i think thats great, i think there should be more guy bakers out there" Shauna stated matter- of-factly "Right" Serena exclaimed in agreement before they both laughed
"Wow master how lucky for you" I could hear Ana annoyed voice in my mind "What are you talking about" I asked confused "Well you have two beautiful girls doting on you, you must me ecstatic" She explained "I wouldn't say they are really doting on me just complimenting me" I said while trying to clear my name "Same thing" she replied as i let out a sigh 'Even if they were why are you so angry about it' i thought with a sigh "Whatever" i said before turning my attention back to the conversation that Serena and Shauna were having
"So Serena have you seen Arias newest pokévision video" Shauna asked excitedly "No why" Serena asked "Well Aria's Fennekin evolved into Braixen" Shauna exclaimed "Really? thats wonderful news" Serena said matching her enthusiasm 'Man thats awsome i definitely need to check that out later' i thought trying to hold back my excitement "And get this she's been able to produce new pokévision videos while also doing her duties as a popular pokemon performer, she's just so amazing, i hope i can be like here one day" she added starry eyed 'I totally agree' I thought while nodding my head "Wait, Whats a pokemon performer" Serena asked outloud making both me and Shauna give her surprised look "Do you really not know" Shauna asked to which Serena gave a confirmation nod
"Well you see a pokemon performer is somone who competes in what are called pokemon showcases, which are basically shows were a trainer and thier pokemon perform in multiple task which are then judged by a cast of judge's and if you win one showcase you are rewarded with whats called a princess key and if you are able to collect three princess keys you will be able to compete in what are called master class showcases which are just a more advanced version of regular pokemon showcases and there you are able to compete for the title of kalos queen and as of right now the title is held by none other than Aria which she won abo-""Master, calm down" I could hear Anna's voice fill my mind making me relize what i had just done as Shauna and Serena gave me dumbfounded looks "I only know that because my little siser is a huge fan of Aria's and talks about her all the time so you kinda pick up a little after awhile" i explained nervously
"Right..." Shauna said after awhile of silence "So anyways like what Axel just said thats basically the jist of it" she added to which Serena nodded "I think i get it" she said as i let out a sigh 'Man am i stupid' i thought mentaly punching myself
"Thanks Ana" I told her Telepathically "No problem master, although, thinking about it now i should have let you keep talking for a little while longer" She giggled "Why you little" I said while picking her off my shoulder and rubbing the top of her head making her laugh as I could feel my own goofy smile taking over my face "Ok Ok im sorry" I could hear her say in a giggling voice "Thats what i thought" I said stopping my bombardment while i let her lay in my arms before noticing Shaunas stare "Oh don't worry Axel and Ana can speak telepathicly " Serena explained before i could "Oh its not that, its just that you and Ana seem really close, im kinda jealous" She confessed "My bulbasuar Doesn't really let me do things like that with it" she added while nervously laughing "Well me and Ana have been with each other for awhile so its only natural" I explained while looking down where Ana was in my arms where she gave me a sweet smile
"Oh yea Shauna i meant to ask you earlier, but why do you know so much about Aria" I asked trying to bring the attention somewhere else "Well yes and no, ive signed up but haven't performed yet" She explained "Wow thats really cool Shauna" Serena declared "Yea it is" I agreed "Does that mean your're About to debute" i added to which she nodded "Yep, i plan to shortly after camp" she explained "Oh what town is it taking place it" I asked "It takes place in Coumarine city" she explained 'Thats the next town from Shalour city' I quickly noted
"Hey guys" We could all hear a voice say from behind us "Oh hey Everyone" Serena greeted as Bonnie, Clemont, And Ash walked up to us "Hey, we finished fixing Clemonts invention" Ash said with a wave "We will have no trouble winning now" Clemont stated "Hey Serena how did the poképuffs turn out" Bonnie said excitedly "They turned out fantastic" she answered "Yea guys they taste great too" I said in agreement "Alright well it sounds like everythings in place" Clemont declared "now all we have to do is find a nice place to shoot the video" Clemont added "Alright lets get going" Serena exclaimed "We'll see you later Shauna" Serena said with a wave the rest of us saying are goodbyes before leaving the lodge
After a while of searching we ended up in the forest "Ugh guys how much longer are we gonna keep searching" Clemont said exhausted "Oh come on stop complaining big brother" bonnie retorted "I actually agree with clemont" I stated before Ana slapped me on the side of the head playfully "Lazy as always master" She said with a knowing grin as i let out a sigh "Don't worry guys i think i see i nice area over here" Serena said hopeful before sprinting off in front of us "Wait be careful" Ash said before sprinting off to catch her "How do they have so much energy" I asked no one in particular before we could hear yelling in the distance making are eyes go wide "Lets go guys" I said after a moment of silence between us as i ran off in the direction they sprinted to before stopping at a cliff
"Are you guys alright" I yelled to them after seeing where they fell before clemont and bonnie caught up "Ash! Serena! are you guys ok" Clemont yelled "Yeah we are both ok" We could hear ash yell "No Ash hurt his leg" Serena yelled
before i turned to clemont and bonnie "Ok you guys go get professor Sycamore and ill go down there and make sure they are ok" i Explained
"Alright sounds good" clemont agreed "We are gonna go get help" Bonnie yelled before both "Please make sure they are ok" bonnie added turning to me "Don't worry i will" I reassured before they both wished me luck before running in the other direction
"Alright Ana can you get both of us down there" i asked "No problem" she said floating down to the ground before her eyes started glowing blue as we were both lifted of the ground and down the cliff "Hey, guys everything all good" i asked once we reached the ground where ash was sat on top of a rock and serena was tending to his wound "Yea for the most part, but ash seemed to have twisted his ankle" Serena explained as me and Ana ran over to them "Lets see" i said while bending over to examine his foot, there was some swelling and it looked a little irritated, but it didn't look broken "Well it doesn't seem like anythings broke, looks like you just twisted it" i explained "Oh im sorry ash, this is all my fault" Serena apologized "Don't worry, like Axel said its not anything major" Ash said with a smile "Pi Pikachu" his pokemon partner said in agreement "He's right, if its anyones fault it mine because i was rushing you to find a good place to shoot our video" I said in a reassuring voice as Serena nodded sadly
"Ana can you use heal pulse on Ash's foot" I asked "Of course" She replied before getting in front of me and holding out her hand as a green light absorbed Ash's foot "Wow that feels amazing" Ash prasied "Its like all the pain just disappeared" he added "Yea, its a pretty useful move a made her learn early on when training her" I explained once Ana finished up the heal pulse "But you still shouldn't walk on it just to be on the safe side" i added "Right, thank you Ana" Ash thanked to which Ana gave a bow "Kirl kirlia" she replied
after a while of waiting for the rescue team we all just passed the time by talking "So Ash you said earlier that your were entering the kalos leage, right" i asked "Thats right" he confirmed
"Oh, how many badges have you got so far" i added "So far i have two, but thats gonna change soon when i battle the Shalour gym" he said confidently "Thats ironic" I said with a laugh "Why is that" Serena asked "Its because me and Ana are actually from Shalour" i explained "Really" Ash asked "Yep, and from what i remember the gym leader just got back from a training trip" I said with a smile
"Oh you mean Korrina" Ash asked "Wait do you know her" i exclaimed "Yea we met her not long ago, we went to Geosenge Town with her and even got to see her Lucario mega evolve" She explained before getting something out of her pocket "See look" she added before handing me a photo of Korrina, her Lucario, Clemont ,Bonnie,Ash, and her "Wow thats amazing" I said while handing her the photo back "Her and her lucario were really strong" she added "Yea and thats why im so pumped to battle her, right Pikachu" he said to which Pikachu gave a nod "Pi Pikachu" "Thats amazing, and i know how strong her lucario is" i stated "Does that mean you've battled her too" Ash asked "Well i haven't battled her for a while but yeah i have" i answered "Really and who won" Serena questioned "If i remember right, we both had two wins against each other" i explained "Really, thats amazing considering how strong they are" Serena said surprised "Yea I haven't even won against her once" ash said in agreement
"Well you see i come from a family that always produced great trainers.." i said before i could see Ana give me a knowing look from my lap "Im kinda expected to be great altough both my wins was before she was appointed gym leader so i never got the knuckle badge" i finished before patting Ana on the head to reassure her that im fine "thats still pretty amazing you were still able to beat her though gym leader or not" Ash said with his signature goofy smile
We continued talking until the rescue team and the rest of the group arrived and pulled us off the cliff "Be careful" The professor said as Clemont put ash's arm around his neck to help ash walk
"I used heal pulse on his foot so most of the damage should be healed" i explained to the professor "Good job, that will help a lot" the professor commended me "Well we should head back to the lab to fix him up as soon as possible" he added before leading the way back to camp
"hey serena, i think im gonna stay out here a little longer" i explained once we had got out of the area we were in "Alright just don't stay out here to long" she replied as I gave a nod before she ran off to catch up to the others, i stood there for a minute watching them walk out of sight before walking one of the many trails around the camp
"So why did you want to stay out here for a little longer" Ana asked after we had been walking for a bit "Because i wanted to talk to you, but i think im starting to get a headache from using telepathy to much" I explained while rubbing the side of my head "Oh that makes sense, so what did you want to talk about" she said curiously
"I think im gonna tell my dad the truth after this trip" i said confidently "That your gonna be a performer" she asked"Well sorta i've decided i will pursue my dream of being a pokemon performer and i will also enter the kalos league" i explained "Wait so your gonna try to be the first kalos king and the champion" She questioned surprised "Do you think its too much" I asked
"Well its definitely going to be a challenge" she said truthfully "But it sounds like fun" she added
"Really" I said with a smile "Yea of course i know if anyone can do it, its you" she said with a reassuring smile "Thanks Ana, well it looks like Ash and me are rivals now" i declared
"Damn it where did that stupid fox go" I could heard someone yell from the distance "What the hell" I asked out loud before something in the bush near us started rustling "Ana get ready to battle" I whispered as she nodded before floating down in attack stance "Get ready" I said once more as the sound got closer before a something ran out of the bush before falling to the ground, its grey fur now shining in the sun light 'Is that a pokemon' i said to myself "Hold on Ana" I said before running over to it, as i picked it up i realized it was a Fennekin but it had grey fur and not yellow my eyes widened after the realization 'I-It can't be...a-a shiny Fennekin' I stood there shocked "Come on i think i heard something over here" the voice said again bringing me back to reality 'I can't be thinking about this right now' I told myself as i looked more careful at the pokemon it was apparent that it was hurt as i could feel blood stain my hand 'I bet who ever is out there did this to it' the thought making my blood boil 'how could they' i thought grinding my teeth before backing up to Ana "Ana hurry up and use heal pulse on it" I ordered as i sat the fennekin down beside her, she immediately went to work as i could hear footsteps approaching
Two men walked out of the tree line as i stood back up stepping in front of Ana and the Fennekin, one of the guys were tall and had green spiked hair and a leather jacket while the other was short and chubby with a green beanie the first one to talk was the taller of the two "Hey kid would you have happened to see a fennekin around here" he questioned "Are you its trainer" i asked before he reached for something in his pocket before the short one held out his hand
"yeah im its trainer" he said with a fake smile
"why is it so hurt" I yelled "Because me and this nice gentleman here had a battle and we were just on are way to a pokemon Center when it got spooked by a wild pokemon and ran off" he lied all while keeping the awful smile "Thats a lie, not with injuries like that, you people make me sick" i yelled once more "Okay fuck this" the taller one said before throwing a pokeball "I tried to do this the easy way kid" the chubby one said before also throwing a pokeball before a Makuhita and Sneasel materialized
"Makuhita use force palm" the tall one commanded before it quickly went into action as it came barreling towards me but before the attack hit me i could see a blue beam come from my left side sending it flying backwards before colliding with its trainer "Thanks Ana" i praised as she floated on to the ground in front of me "Master i finished healing the fennekin it should wake up soon" she said while looking back at me "Great now we can focus on battling" I said while she gave me a nod as my focus was turned back onto the men as the tall one got back up
"Sorry boss my makuhita is fainted" he announced before returning it to its pokéball "Must i do everything myself" he yelled at the other man before turning back to me as his eyes went wide before laughing "Are you kidding me, this kid actually has a shiny pokemon" he laughed "Now i get to steal two shiny pokemon in less than a full day" he added still laughing
"you shouldn't underestimate us" I said annoyed with his tone "Yea whatever lets just get this thing started" he said now in a serious tone
"Sneasel use metal claw" he yelled before it took off in the blink of an eye its claws glowing a bright silver, it was fast but it wouldn't be faster than Ana, "Ana dodge and use psybeam" i yelled and just as it was about to hit her she jumped out of the way before shooting a bright blue beam out of her hand, her attack not missing
"Good job Ana it shouldn't be mu-" I tried to say but i hung on my words as the smoke cleared and the pokemon was completely unscathed 'Wait whats going on' I thought before it hit me, as i could hear the man start laughing "Have you realised yet that psychic attacks have no effect on my sneasel" the man confessed as I grinded my teeth 'What do i do, Ana doesn't know much non-psychic attacks' i tried to think before the man spoke again "Alright playtimes over, Sneasel use metal claw once more" his pokémon reacting immediately as it ran full speed not giving me time to react before it swung its claws and this time it hit its mark as Ana got rammed into the ground "Ana are you okay" I yelled "M-master im fine" I could hear hear her faint voice in my mind, but as the Sneasel backed up i could she wouldn't take another hit like that
"Master i can still fight" she said before standing up "Thats my girl, you got this" i said trying to cheer her on "Okay Ana use magical leaf" I ordered magical leaf being one of her only non psychic moves, she quickly complied as glowing leaves formed around her before quickly being shot out where the Sneasel didn't even try to dodge "Good shot" i yelled to her as it hit straight on where it didn't even flinich "Is that all you got" the man said laughing as if he had just heard the funniest joke of his life, 'What do i do with ice being its other typing theres nothing i can do, its really the worst matchup' i said biting my bottom lip "Alright its about time to wrap this up, Sneasel if you will please finish this up" he said the pokemon listening to his everyword as its claws started glowing again "Ana quick dodge" i yelled in a panic "Nice try, but not good enough" the man yelled in return as the sneasel quickly changed course hitting Ana head on as i could only watch frozen
as the smoke cleared i could tell she was finished 'Ana im sorry' i thought to myself as i watched petrified "Hit her again" the man said making my heart stop "But the battles over she can't fight back" i quickly yelled "Kid did you really think this was just one of your usual battles, cause if you did your sorely mistaken" he replied
as the sneasel raised its arms to attack once more 'Im sorry Ana, i know you don't like being in here, but i think you'll forgive me just this once' i told myself as i quickly reached in my pocket and grapped her pokeball before quickly returning her as the sneasel hit the ground where she once was "Smart choice kid, now just hand us th- wait where do you think your going" the man yelled as i quickly scooped up the fennekin and took of in the opposite direction
'Okay if i remember right, camp shouldn't be that far from this point' I told myself as i kept running for a bit "Fen Fennekin" i could hear the small fox pokémon say in my arms as i looked down where it was giving me a worried stare "Don't worry little one, im going to take you to a place where your gonna be safe" i said in the most reassuring voice i could muster "See it should just be around this corn-" i tried to say as I felt a sharp pain to my leg making me drop to the ground, I groaned as sat up "are you okay" i asked the small pokemon in my arms as i had made sure to land on my shoulder to not hurt it
"fennekin" it responded as to say yes "alright thats good, but what did i trip on" i asked before looking down at my leg where i could see a huge cut in my jeans where i could see blood coming from
"There you are kid, did you really think you could out run us" i could hear the voice of the same man before i tried to get back up and run wincing at the pain from my left leg but still managing to run "Hit him again sneasel" i could hear him say before another sharp pain hit my right leg making me hit the ground again "Just give up kid, and hand us the pokemon" he said once more "Fuck you" i yelled at him before he growled
"Looks like you need a little more punishment, sneasel use slash this time" i quickly shielded the fennekin from the attack using my body before a could feel a sharp pain to my back making me scream "Boss maybe you should stop, you could get in serious trouble for doing something like this" i could hear the taller man
"Shut up, this little shit deserves it for causing me this much trouble because he wanted to play hero" the man said in an angry tone "Now sneasel don't stop using slash until he lets go of that damn fox" he added making my heart stop before i could feel the first attack hit me making me yell
i couldn't tell how many times or where i got hit as pain like nothing i have ever felt set in as cut after cut just kept coming as my own screams filled my ears "Remember this kid, this is all because you wanted to play hero, this is all your fault" i could barely hear the man speak it was only then that i realized how bad the fennekin underneath me was shaking from fear and somehow even after all the pain i was in i still managed to speak to it "I-i-its ok, e-everyting g-gonna be okay" i told it as i noticed it eyes meet mine, i wasn't even sure myself how this was gonna end 'Is this how im really gonna die' I asked myself as i could feel blood stain my clothes and the ground underneath my hands
'im gonna die without completing anything' i thought as tears stung my eyes, i could feel myself about to black out "You looks so path-" "Pikachu use thunderbolt" i heard somebodys voice yell over the mans voice before an explosion happened "boss were out of time, we gotta go" i could hear the man say to the other before i could hear the sound of a pokemon returning "Damn it, we leaving empty handed today" i could hear him say before footsteps start running in the other direction before i could hear other voices
"Hurry axel looks hurt" i could hear a familiar voice say as footsteps were approaching as i let myself roll over onto my back as i let out a reassuring sigh 'Were saved' i thought as i could see silhouettes above me "Oh my god Axel" i could hear one gasp "Hurry we need a docter now" i could hear another say
'Its that bad huh?' i thought once more before i couldn't even make out what they were saying anymore as i let myself drift off as i could see more silhouettes reach my vision 'I hope that fennekin will be alright and Ana too cause if they end up all right then all this pain will have been worth it' before i blacked out my last thought being 'It will be worth it'
