Hidden Faces

Might make this a 2 or 3 shot. When I first started writing this I liked it, but now I think it's kinda trash. Even though I still can't write any better.

Disclaimer: I don't own PJO/HOO/TOA - I added TOA for no reason... Anyways, Uncle Rick owns those. Enjoy!

As the massive student body swarmed into the school, it would have been just as normal as any other first day of school. It would have been. If not for a certain green-eyed boy who just so happened to be the Savior of Olympus- twice. Not that anyone who was currently in the vicinity knew that. In fact, nobody in the vicinity knew anything about him- save for a few of his so-called friends. He trudged up the steps leading to his school, grey hoodie pulled over his head as to prevent anyone from seeing his face. Bad enough they would see that, let alone the rest of his body. And the countless scars.

Through the main doors, squeezing past all the other teenage bodies, down the hall, head kept low. Hoping for just one thing: To not be recognized. And for the most part his wish was granted, though some students whispered among their friends, discussing who this boy could possibly be. Not a single one of the whisperers would have even suspected he could be the same outgoing, joking, friendly boy who disappeared last year. His friends had mostly forgotten about him; they figured he had been kicked out of the school, something or other. It wouldn't have been a surprise to them. They knew all about his 'troubled' past. Or a least, they thought they did.

Finally reaching his grey locker, the boy entered his code into the combination lock. He heard every single click and clack the metal device emitted, but those sounds were quickly diminished, followed by the locker door swinging open. The inside of this grey box was, however, not nearly as dull as its owner appeared. Covering every square inch of the inside were pictures of him and many other campers from the Titan War. The boy took his time hanging up more pictures from the Giant War, when another sound was heard. This just so happened to be the sound of Mike Jenkins, jock and player extraordinaire.

"Who's this?" He sneered. The victim of said boy remained silenced, not responding to his query. "I said," Mike announced, "Who's this?"

The arm of the green-eyed boy fell limp at his side, dropping from its previous position inside of the locker. Still, he remained quiet. Nearly all of the teenagers in the immediate vicinity turned to watch. The next movement of the boy was from his head. He lifted it to straighten his back, increasing his height. Of course, we all know what happens now.

The victim of Mike's 'attack' lifted his eyes, initiating a full-on stare down. His eyes never faltered once, for the whole 2 minutes of this event. And then he spoke, his voice echoing through the halls. All the bystanders were holding their breath.

"Percy."

"Percy Jackson."

Sheesh! Did you guys think that was dramatic? I did. Anyways, should I turn this into a 2 or 3 shot? Maybe even a full on story? And yes, I know it's short. Like, really short. But let's not have my A/N's become as long as my chapter now.

Review!
