Cassell college, a college created with lofty goals to protect humanity and train the young human-dragon hybrid warriors to fight for humanity. The symbol of this college was a world tree. This time, in one of many secret facilities of the school, Hilbert Jean Anjou, the man considered to be the strongest hybrid, was staring at a body within a test cube filled with liquids.

The body inside the cube was floating freely without anything to support it and liquids inside are the most potent anaesthetic drug which can even induce anesthesia into a second generation dragon. They discovered the body when they were investigating the Black Swan Bay incident. When they first saw the body, they wanted to wake her up but many Death Servitors turned corpses dissuaded them of that idea and decided to take her back to Cassell for further testing.

The body seemed to be a 13 years old female with a long slender body without any markings and a long black hair that reached waist. At first, they just wanted to test the subject for stability of her blood and her chances of turning into a Death Servitor. Unexpectedly, they discovered that the subject was a pure human. That baffled many researchers and the school board since the subject had exhibited many superhuman qualities. If the subject is pure human then if they could grasp the secret of the subject's superhuman abilities, they won't need to risk turning students into a hybrid anymore.

Ever since then, they had been administering the subject into constant anesthesia and been researching heavily with her but to no result. Any attempt to cut open the subject would only result in a red mark across the cut area and would quickly fade. After 20 years of no result, it had been decided that the subject would be awakened to ask for an answer directly from her.

"How is her status?" principal Anjou asked Norma, the A.I butler of Cassell College.

"Everything is stable. You can release her now," Norma replied.

Principal Anjou nodded and pressed several buttons. The liquid inside the tube slowly drained as the floating body began to settle down. A few seconds later, she opened her eyes which shone with the brilliant purple light.

Ariel immediately used the EX skill on the people in front of her. The cyclones passed harmlessly through the female and the sidestepped it with great speed. Ariel narrowed her eyes as she used Observe to look at the nature of two people in front of her. The man whose name tag said Hilbert Jean Anjou was a hybrid and the girl was an A.I. They both standoff for a bit as Ariel adds stats to herself.

Anjou's eyes widened as he noticed Ariel's presence went up immediately. He readied and used Time Zero. Everything around him stopped as he became faster. As he moved toward the girl in order to knock her off, he noticed her eyes moved as her shining purple orbs stared into his own.

'How is this possible?! I am moving using Time Zero,' before his thought could finish, a large fist suddenly appeared in front of him but before touching his face, it stopped as an index stretched out and poked him.

He was sent flying through the wall. Before he could fall to the ground, he was pinned to the wall.

"Who are you people? Where is Renata?! Z?!" Ariel immediately asked.

Anjou coughed and slowly said, "I know you are confused, miss, let me explain to you?" He explained the entire situation to her.

"I see," Ariel released her hold on Anjou's neck. A lone tear raced across her face as she said, "It's been twenty years huh?"

"I am sorry for what we did miss but please understand us. It is all for the survival of Humanity, " Anjou said with a genuine tone.

"I see, well, I forgive you," Ariel just dismissed it.

"What?!" Anjou couldn't believe it. He expected at least some sort of tantrum if not downright destroying the entire school. He knew for a fact that if she wanted to destroy the school no one would be able to stop her and she knew it too. So, he didn't expect a cold, uncaring dismissal.

"As for my abilities, I couldn't tell you how I got them since I don't know either. All I know is they have been there since I was born," she shrugged.

"I see," Anjou replied. 'She seemed to be telling the truth. I wonder what is the cause of her power,' he thought to himself.

"Would you like to study here? Miss? I want to enroll you here but this is a college for training young hybrids so you have to become a hybrid," Anjou said.

"Ariel, just Ariel. And if you are worry about me being a human then you don't have to worry," she said as she changed her race to dragon. She closed her eyes and when she opened them, her eyes were like golden flames. Shining brightly.

Anjou looked at the eyes in front of him as he instinctively grabbed his hidden weapon before remembering this was just a disguise but it looked so real. Even Constantine's eyes are not as intense as her eyes.

"I see, that would solve most of our problems," he began to talk.

Ariel looked at the records in front of her. They were what she had managed to gather about Z, Dr. Herzog and agent Bomdarev. From what she managed to gather, legally or illegally, Bondarev had gone to Japan and the trail went cold there. Ariel sighed. It seemed that she had to go to Japan personally.

*Beep

She was distracted from her thoughts by a call from her mobile phone. She answered and from there came out the voice of Norma.

"Hello, Miss Ariel. The principal is calling you to his office. Today is the initiation day to officially introduce you to student body," Norma announced.

She closed the phone and used [EX skill: Gate] to open a portal directly to him. The space in front of her began to crack and folded itself and revealed a void. She walked in it and the principal was already waiting at the other side.

"Ah, nice to see you again Ariel. Today would be the day you would be a student of Cassel College, are you ready?" Anjou said from his desk. Ariel nodded.

"Good, please go outside, I had already prepared everything," Ariel hummed in agreement and went out.

Norma intercepted her and gave a set of clothes. "These are Cassel College uniform please wearing them," she told Ariel. Ariel put them on.

As soon as she was out she was greeted by alarms and sirens of an invasion of Death Servitors.

'Anjou, that crazy bastard. Did he really sic these things on his students just for a test that isn't even real?,' Ariel mused as she flicked her finger toward the two incoming Death Servitors causing them to explode.

Suddenly a guy came running toward her, chased by a group of Death Servitors.

"Please help!" he shouted as he stumbled and fell in front of her. 'Pathetic,' was first thought came to her mind but that thought vanished when she see his face.

"Z?!" Ariel asked she grabbed him by neck, pulling to look closer.

'He looked like Z but there are subtle differences. But this is so uncanny. Is he his son,' he thought to herself.

"Hey! They are right behind you!" he warned while hiding behind her.

'Annoying' Ariel thought as she used [EX skiall: Royal Blaze] and burned them to cinder.
