Kurumu took in a deep breath as she regarded the door to Moka's suite. She had no idea what to say to the vampire. She imagined everyone was angry with her. She knew Yukari was.

Sakamori squeezed her, rubbing her head against Kurumu's shoulder. When Kurumu had come out of her trance, Sakamori had returned to her usual, clingy self. Yukari had been watching over her along with Mizore and a couple teachers. It had been over a half hour and everyone else had gone home.

Yukari had been livid when Kurumu confirmed that she had taken every terrifying memory from the moment Sakamori had been abducted an entire week ago. Sakamori had been confused, having no clue how she got there or why she was in a hospital gown. Ms. Nakamura had taken Sakamori into the nearby restroom to help the girl change into gym clothes.

It was at that point that Mizore realized Kurumu could alter memories. Mizore correctly deduced that Kurumu had made those dream encounters which he suddenly remembered. She accused Kurumu of tampering with his memories to make him less attracted to her. There was nothing Kurumu could say to convince Mizore otherwise. It came down to trust and she had lost that.

While Yukari and Mizore bickered over Kurumu's potential crimes, Kurumu had decided she would stay with Sakamori that night. The announcement had pissed Yukari off, resulting in the witch angrily stating she was going home. Mizore had tossed her schoolbag at her, leaving without another word.

Her boyfriend had dumped her. Her friends were mad at her. And mommy was dead.

Was happiness just a dream?

"Ease up, Hinoko."

The girl groaned against her. They had shared dinner and breakfast together. Several students had tried talking to her at both meals, but nobody cared about Sakamori. The extent of their comments to the girl was feigned relief that she was out of the hospital.

Sakamori was in suite 301. Kinzoku had lived in 303 beside her while Tategami lived across the hall from her in 302. Kurumu had spent most of the time at the dorm in Sakamori's room. Nobody had dropped by to check on the girl. Kurumu had been unsure if that was people not knowing Sakamori was out of the hospital, but Sakamori had cheerily said it was normal.

Kurumu felt like she had failed Sakamori as a friend.

"Let go for a bit. This door swings out."

Sakamori groaned again, finally relaxing her grip. Kurumu smiled, detaching from the shojo to knock firmly on the door. She stepped back to Sakamori's side, fending off the girl's hands as they waited.

It was after seven but it should still be early enough for the vampires to be home. She needed to change clothes, having slept in her school blouse last night while holding Sakamori.

After a short moment, the deadbolt was drawn back and the door swung out. Moka's turquoise eyes betrayed relief as she let out a sigh.

"There you are."

Kurumu grinned, grabbing Sakamori by the hand and tugging the girl forward.

"Could you hold onto Hinoko? I need to get changed."

"Where were you?"

Kurumu ignored the angry huff from Kokoa as she stepped into the suite. Moka reflexively held Sakamori when the shojo wrapped her arms about the vampire. Kurumu stepped out of her loafers and set her schoolbag aside before she stalked over to Moka's closet.

"I asked you a question."

Kurumu shrugged as she twisted the knob for Moka's closet.

"I was with a friend."

"You were supposed to make my dinner and breakfast."

Kurumu ducked inside the closet, grabbing the hem of her sweater and tugging it up over her head. She saw no reason to explain herself to Kokoa. It was not like Kokoa would fire her. She pitched her sweater into the hamper and started working on the buttons to her blouse.

"What happened?"

Kokoa had stopped in the doorway, crossing her arms below her chest. The vampire was annoyed, glancing back into the room.

"Hinoko was upset, so I made her happy."

"How?"

Kurumu tugged her arms out of her sleeves before tossing the blouse into the hamper. She unhooked the front clasps of her cornflower blue bra and slipped out of it.

"I made her forget about being kidnapped."

There was a long moment of silence in which Kurumu was able to tug off her socks and skirt, adding them to the pile of dirty clothes. She tugged her sky blue boyshorts with the white clouds down her thighs to her knees. She stepped out of them before chucking them in the hamper.

"So… like you did to that witch."

Kurumu shrugged as she turned to her lingerie pile. She grabbed her lavender boyshorts with the white dots and stepped into them. She tugged her panties up and smoothed out the hem at her waist. Then she grabbed the mauve strapless bra which was identical to her black one. Lacking clasps, it fit more like a tube top, though it was contoured for the shape of her bosom. She adjusted her breasts into the flexible cups before reaching behind her to flatten out the fabric in the back.

"Hey. Did you really mess with Aono's head?"

Kurumu sighed. All that drama yesterday over nothing. She shook her head slightly as she grabbed a uniform and slipped it off the hanger.

"I put a strong suggestion in his head that would keep him from attacking me ever again. That vampire blood inside him doesn't like me."

Slinging the blouse around her shoulders, she pushed her arms through each sleeve. Reaching down to the bottom hem, she started fastening the buttons up the center.

"She had him over here last night. She tried convincing him that you had faked all of those memories."

"And what do you think?"

"I think he shouldn't be so close to my sister. Other than removing her seal, he's no good for her."

Kurumu smirked as she finished up with the buttons. She only had one more uniform hanging in here. She grabbed her fitted jacket, thinking she would save her other sweater for tomorrow.

"I need to stop by the hospital today."

"Why?"

"Because they still have one of my school uniforms."

"I'll go with you."

Kurumu laughed as she slipped on her jacket.

"Why?"

"Because I want to. We could shop for groceries."

"Don't you have club?"

"I'll tell the captain at lunch today that I have other plans. It's not like missing one practice will make a huge difference."

Kurumu smiled softly as she grabbed a skirt. She thought about the offer as she pulled her skirt on.

"I'm bringing Sakamori with us."

"Do you think you could make this seal forget this dumb crush she has on Aono?"

Kurumu paused after fixing up her skirt. She turned wide eyes upon Kokoa.

"Why would I do that?"

"Because you could."

Kurumu shook her head, grabbing a pair of socks. She stalked by Kokoa, letting the vampire close the door as she made her way back over to the entryway.

Moka was outside the suite with Sakamori. She was cooing at the snuggling girl, running her fingers through strawberry curls. Kurumu tugged on her socks as Kokoa joined her.

"I'm serious."

"I'm not doing that."

After putting on her loafers, Kurumu snatched up her schoolbag and strut through the open door. As Kokoa slipped into her shoes, Moka turned a suspicious look upon Kurumu.

"Ms. Sakamori says she forgot everything after the kidnapping."

Kurumu huffed as she fixed the strap of her schoolbag to nestle comfortably between her breasts.

"Yea. What of it?"

"What if people asks her about what happened?"

"She'll tell them that she doesn't remember."

Sakamori giggled, nuzzling against Moka's shoulder.

"Nobody talks wif me anyways."

Kurumu stared at Moka for a long moment as Kokoa locked up the suite.

"It's still not right."

"What would you have done differently?"

Moka frowned as Kokoa stalked over to them.

"It's not right."

Kurumu tapped Sakamori's shoulder.

"Come with me, Hinoko."

Sakamori was quick to switch up supports, leaning into Kurumu. Turning away from Moka, Kurumu started off for the trail leading away from the commissary.

"Should we check on the others?"

"Mizore and Yukari are both mad at me. And I'm not interested in talking to them."

"Good. I don't like hanging out with that brat and stalker."

"Those are my friends."

Progress was slow with the shojo shuffling every step. An uneasy silence hung in the air as they steadily made their way to the point where the trails combined.

"I heard that you had Tsukune over last night. What did you guys talk about?"

"He was worried about you."

"You're probably blaming his memories of me for that."

There was another uncomfortable pause as they started down the trail to the right.

"Why did you do that to him?"

"Because every time he goes berserk, he comes after me."

"What are we talking about?"

Kurumu smiled, giving Sakamori a squeeze.

"It's nothing. Just Moka giving me a hard time about how I treated Tsukune."

"Did you do something wrong?"

"She lied to him."

Kurumu scowled, glaring back at Moka.

"You put vampire blood in him."

Moka blinked in surprise.

"But… I had to."

"What I gave him was no different. You did it for his own good and I did what I did to quell the monster you put inside him."

Moka's jaw trembled. She looked down at the dirt beneath them.

"It's not the same."

"Are you two fighting?"

"How would you feel if I told Tsukune how horrible a person you were for doing that to him?"

Moka sighed, relaxing her shoulders in defeat.

"Mizore already does that so it would be nothing new."

"Then you should know better."

"It's not like I said you were bad for doing it. I just thought he should know that it wasn't true."

"You don't need to butter him up. We all know he wants you."

"It's not like he believed me. You gave him hundreds of memories. Hundreds. He refuses to believe you would do something that horrible."

"What were you doing with him all those times?"

Kurumu sighed at Kokoa's inquiry.

"Nothing. Chatting. Playing games. Singing. I talked about what was going on in my life that particular day. I literally relived my own childhood for this."

Sakamori giggled against her.

"I wish I was a child again."

"How long did that take?"

Moka shrugged with a shake of her head.

"When I arrived, the two were kissing. I have no idea how long they had been doing it. Rubi was in the middle of casting a sealing spell which the other me warned not to interrupt. When Rubi finished, Tsukune collapsed and I pulled Kurumu off of him."

"Kissing would be nice."

Kurumu had to laugh at this silly girl in her arms.

"Yes. Is there someone you'd like to kiss?"

"Satoshi."

Kurumu grinned at the mention of the popular boy from Sakamori's homeroom. She gave the girl a squeeze as they neared the intersection with the main path to the school.

"You must be much stronger than I gave you credit for. I'm still pretty sure you duped Lord Chiki even if you say you didn't."

"What are you getting at?"

Kokoa glanced at Moka.

"Just thinking out loud."

"I'm not going to charm Moka into not wanting Tsukune."

"Kokoa!"

"What? There's no way my real sister wants that weakling."

Moka frowned at her sister.

"You shouldn't suggest such things to Kurumu. It's not right to mess with people's memories."

"But that's what they do. Mother hires them explicitly for that purpose."

"That doesn't make it right."

"Moka!"

Tsukune waved at them from a short ways up the school path from the intersection. He had a wide grin as his eyes swept over their group.

Kurumu shivered when his eyes passed over her. Her body responded but there was no desire in his gaze. She squeezed Sakamori tighter to her side as they approached him.

"Um… good morning, Tsukune."

Moka lengthened her stride to reach Tsukune first. He held her hand out to her which Moka took.

"I wanted to walk to school with you."

Moka stepped in closer.

"That's sweet of you."

"I think I'm fully recovered from last night if you want to take another sip."

Kurumu bristled at the remark. She had taken his blood last night and was being offered more. She felt her heart twist as the vampire timidly leaned up closer to him.

"Since you insist."

Kurumu looked away as Moka's fangs sunk into his neck. She quickened her step, causing poor Sakamori to stumble as they passed by the loving couple. Kokoa hurried after them.

"Hey, wait up!"

"I'm not walking that fast."

"Aren't you going to do something?"

"Why should I care? She can suck him dry and deal with him when he becomes a fucking ghoul."

"Kurumu?"

The concerned tone in Sakamori's voice eased her ire. Taking in a deep breath, she resumed her normal stride. She had no intentions of looking back.

"I'm sorry, Sakamori."

"Isn't he your boyfriend?"

"Not anymore."

"Go back there and fix this!"

Kurumu scowled at Kokoa.

"I'm not messing with Moka's head. She's not the problem here."

"Then mess with his head. You've done it before."

Kurumu glowered at the suggestion.

"I'm not going to make him forget your sister."

Kokoa sighed heavily.

"Well you can't do that. He's her blood claim. But you could take away his attraction to her."

"No."

"You know you could do it."

"Everybody would call me out on it."

There was a heavy silence which followed. After several quiet steps, Sakamori loosened her hold.

"What are we talking about?"

"Kokoa wants me to cheat."

"Well what options do you have? If this keeps up, he's going to weasel his way into my sister's panties. That seal is practically begging for it."

"That's fine if that's what he wants."

"But it's not what I want. And there's no way you can convince me that it's what my real sister wants."

Kokoa was partially right. The vampire Moka wanted Tsukune to earn it.

"What if he defeated your sister?"

"Not happening."

"With training-"

"Not a chance."

"Your sister said it would be fine if he beat her."

"That's the same as telling him he can have her when he becomes a god. That's not a serious offer."

"It sounded serious to me."

"He could have me, if he beats me. That's the vampire way."

"You'd seriously sleep with him if he defeated you?"

Kokoa blushed, glancing aside. She puffed her chest out and stuck her nose up.

"He can't beat me so there's no point thinking about it."

"There's no point in me making him forget how much he cares about Moka."

"He's your destined one. I know that your body reacts to him."

"What does that have to do with anything?"

"It means you're meant to be together. It's destiny."

"What would you know about destiny?"

"Not much. But it sounded like this was something serious for you. That brat once told me that it was possible you might never meet another guy like him."

"You talked with Yukari?"

"Showing me around to clubs wasn't the only thing we did. We talked about a few things."

"Why would you talk about me?"

"Because you belong to me. She implied that it could be hazardous to your health if you ever broke up with that loser."

"I'm so thrilled to hear your concern for your property."

"Are you two fighting?"

Kurumu sighed at Sakamori's confusion. She rubbed the girl's shoulder.

"It's stupid stuff, Hinoko. Basically, Tsukune isn't my boyfriend and Kokoa wants me to mess with his head so that he gives up on Moka."

"Why'd you break up?"

"Because he has always loved Moka."

"Why does he love Moka? What made him decide she was the one?"

Kurumu shrugged, resisting the urge to look back at the couple whom were undoubtedly following them.

"I don't know. He was already head over heels for her by the second day of school."

"So… what if you made him forget those first two days of school?"

Kurumu stared at Kokoa with wide eyes.

"That would do it, right? You take away that initial feeling that made him decide my sister was the one."

"I can't do that."

"Sure you could."

"I won't do that to Moka."

Kokoa gestured angrily back at the couple.

"The reason why vampire women agree to marry men stronger than them is because they can protect us. The only reason that boy has ever had to protect my sister is because of that stupid seal."

"It doesn't matter. Yukari and Moka would immediately know that I robbed him of his memories."

Mizore would too, though she doubted the snow girl would care in this case.

"Then charm everybody."

"That's just stupid."

"I know succubi have to do it on occasion to cover up something with a bunch of witnesses. Make everybody forget that Tsukune was enamored with my sister."

Kurumu stepped on Sakamori's foot, causing them both to stumble. She muttered an apology as she helped the shojo regain her footing.

"Have you ever seen Men in Black? It's a foreign movie about these agents working for a secret organization. They have this tool that they can flash in people's eyes. It makes them forget what they saw and all the agents do is tell them some nonsense to fill in the blank space."

"Kokoa… that's a movie."

"But it's exactly how your kind operates. You can get a bunch of people together, charm them all at once and tell them a new version of the truth."

Kurumu shook her head.

"The charm doesn't work like that. It wears off."

"This isn't charm, Kurumu. Stop thinking of your powers like they're limited to getting men to want your body. If that was all your kind was good for, Mother wouldn't have that many of you working for her."

Kurumu swallowed as she let that sink in. She knew Kokoa was right. Her power was strongly linked to her belief in what she could do.

"I don't even know how I would do that."

"Maybe it's like that movie. Give them a simple truth. Tsukune and you are in love and there has never been anyone else for either of you."

"But they will have memories."

"I don't know how you deal with that. It might not be important for anyone that only knows about your relationship with rumors or at a distance. What little information they do have could be reinterpreted to support the new truth you've given them."

Kurumu mulled the possibility over. She could tell everyone that she was his girlfriend and everyone would accept that as fact. She could plant this truth in the heads of Yukari, Mizore and Tora. Nobody would ever think to challenge her relationship again.

"It's not right."

"You have to do it, Kurumu. Your heart needs this."

She shook her head slightly. She could make him love her again and there would be nobody to call her out for using her charm. She could give them the truth that he wanted to be with her of his own free will. She could dupe them all.

"But… it's not right."

"It's brilliant. The two of you belong together."

Kurumu finally glanced back. Tsukune was walking alongside Moka, chatting about something with a huge grin. They weren't holding hands but it was clear that he wanted to. Moka was smiling and holding both of her hands at her waist.

"I just want everyone to be happy."

Kokoa grinned, placing a hand on her shoulder.

"If you do this right, everyone will be."

Was happiness just a dream?

"Are you really happy, Hinoko?"

Sakamori turned a lax smile upon Kurumu as the girl shuffled down the stairs while clinging to Kurumu's side. They reached the landing and slowly made their way to the second flight of steps.

"I'm happy you're my friend."

"Maybe we could eat with Satoshi tomorrow."

Despite holding this girl close to her, Kurumu's heart ached from the emptiness of the day. Yukari would not initiate conversation with her. While this was somewhat normal, it felt more distant than usual. She worried saying anything to Yukari would cause a fight, which she was in no mood to deal with. The last thing she needed was for her entire class to bombard her with questions about the breakup.

The only notable conversation she had shared with the witch had come right before lunch when Juri had asked Kurumu what her lunch plans was. She had meekly asked Yukari about the bentos in her satchel to curtly be told that Yukari had only made three. She was eating with Rubi and Chouda today. She did not answer why she had not made one for Moka.

In that awkward moment, Kurumu had agreed to lunch with Juri while also asking if they could swing by class four to get Sakamori. It had been a forgettable meal. Sakamori had spent most of it attached to Kurumu's side, barely interacting with the other girls. None were aware about the suicide attempt and most agreed it was for the best that Sakamori had no recollection of what happened the past week. Kurumu had not taken credit for it, letting them think that Sakamori's ignorance was her own response to the traumatic experience.

A hand clapped her shoulder when she reached the bottom of the stairs. Asuka grinned at her as Hazumi, Meisai and Shinayaka all walked by her at a brisk pace.

"For having a head start, you're moving awfully slow."

Kurumu smiled, glancing back as Tategami and Hibiki strolled by them. The rest of the first year girls from home ec class were not that far behind. Nomura, Kazehana and Taijin came down the last step while the gorgon cousins were chatting with Juri only a couple more steps up.

"Hinoko is in no hurry to get to gym."

"I hate gym."

Kurumu chuckled as Asuka slowed to match their pace. Taijin joined them before they reached the bathrooms on the right while the two tengu girls continued on without breaking stride.

"Enjoy it while it lasts, Hinoko. In about a week, Kurumu will go back to her usual routine of ignoring all of her lesser friends."

Kurumu pouted at the blond.

"That's not true."

"Trust me, Hinoko. You're going to need real friends that eat lunch with you more than once a month."

"Asuka."

The blond waved a hand dismissively as the gorgon girls and Juri joined their slow march down the hall towards the cafeteria.

"Don't sass me, Yuu. I'm speaking from experience. We could take her."

Taijin frowned, turning her attention on Kurumu.

"I suppose we could."

"What are we talking about?"

Asuka flashed Tonari a grin.

"Adopting Hinoko."

The copper haired girl smirked, shaking her head.

"Good luck with that. She's such a nuisance in class."

"That's not very nice."

Kurumu smiled at Orochi. The black haired girl had offered to help Kurumu handle Sakamori during class. The gorgon girl was concerned with Sakamori's mental health, thinking she would need therapy to help her deal with her suppressed memories.

"Would you guys eat lunch with her?"

Orochi wrung her hands, glancing at Tonari whom snorted and rolled her eyes.

"Ms. Sakamori is too clingy at times. I wouldn't want her to spend more time in the infirmary."

Kurumu smiled apologetically, feeling dumb for asking. She knew that Orochi's hair acted up when the shojo hugged Orochi too tightly.

"Leave her to us."

Taijin sighed at Asuka's enthusiasm as they passed by the other door to the library. The wall promptly ended after the door with the cafeteria on their right.

"I suppose we have experience dealing with her."

Kurumu managed a smile as they cut through the cafeteria towards the doors behind the registers for the large gymnasium.

"Do you want to eat lunch with Asuka?"

Sakamori glanced over at the grinning blond. Her grip on Kurumu loosened.

"Sure."

Asuka's electric blue eyes sparkled as she held her arms out.

"Come to momma."

The relief Kurumu experienced once Sakamori let go of her to accost the blond made Kurumu feel so guilty. And that guilt quickly became sadness when Sakamori snuggled up against Asuka. Her heart twisted at this immense feeling of loss. Nothing was truly hers.

Kurumu went silent as they continued across the cafeteria. She mulled over where she would go from here. Kokoa's suggestion this morning was looking more attractive with every beat of her aching heart. He had loved her convincingly while under the influence of her charm. They had both been happy. Not perfectly, but still happy.

Was a happy lie such a horrible thing when compared to the emptiness truth?

A hand grabbed her sleeve right before they passed through the door to the gymnasium. Juri smiled softly at her.

"Are you okay?"

"Yea. I just have a lot on my mind."

"Don't worry about it. I'm sure that Ms. Sakamori will recover from this in time."

Kurumu noted that the gymnasium was empty. The boys would be outside with them once again. She would have a third of the school at her disposal.

Could she really do it?

Her power was limited to what she believed in. If she had any doubts, it would fail.

She could do it. But should she?

"Do you think everyone would believe that Tsukune loves me and only me?"

"Is something wrong?"

Kurumu sighed heavily.

"It's just exhausting at times. Every time he's seen doing anything with Moka, countless rumors pop up about those two being a couple."

Tonari snorted.

"That's never going to change. He'd have to publicly disown her."

"Honestly, you should dump the guy."

"Asuka!"

"You know I'm right. Kurumu could do so much better than him."

Juri frowned, shaking her head.

"That may be so but hearts don't change like that. Everybody knows how much Kurumu loves him."

"That's not the issue. The problem is him."

Orochi sighed heavily, nodding.

"My cousin is right. If Mr. Aono was more assertive about whom he loved, these rumors would never be entertained. I keep thinking that one day he will break up with her and start dating Ms. Akashiya."

Juri grimaced, grabbing Kurumu's arm and tugging her closer to her side.

"Even if that's true, it won't change how she feels."

"What if he did publicly disown her?"

The girls shared uncomfortable glances as they reached the short passage flanking the stage. Adjusting her grip on Sakamori, Asuka shook her head as they approached the door for the girls' locker room.

"That will never work. You're a succubus. People would claim you charmed him if he had a sudden change of heart."

"So there's no way anyone would ever believe his love for me would be genuine?"

Juri squeezed her arm.

"I don't know if you realize this… even now people think the biggest reason he is with you and not Ms. Akashiya is because of your charm."

"It's okay, Ms. Kurono. We do know how much you love him."

The other girls quickly agreed with Orochi's statement but it left Kurumu feeling completely hollow. Nobody would ever believe his love for her was real. The only way she could win is if she somehow convinced everyone she was not a succubus.

As she entered the locker room, a thought flitted to the surface.

"I could do that."

Juri let go of her arm, cocking her head inquisitively.

"Do what?"

"It's nothing. See you in a bit."

She parted with the other girls, making her way to the last row of lockers. She was alone as she spun the dial of her padlock on her locker. Her thoughts toyed with plans of mass charm. Make everyone forget she was a succubus. That felt impossible, but maybe she could twist the truth. Convince them that if they had ever seen her true form, that she was actually a harpy or a tengu.

But how would that work with her friends? So much conversation was about her being a succubus. Could she really flash away the memories and tell them something else with the hopes that would work?

She had to believe.

Opening her locker, she pulled out her gym clothes. Technically this shirt was a loaner since she had ruined hers weeks ago during the durian harvest and had never bought a new one. She regarded her old sports bra, doubting it gave any more support than the strapless she had on. It was not like she could run faster wearing that old thing. She needed a new one.

Deciding not to change bras, she pulled the shirt over her head and smoothed it down over her torso. She loosened her skirt and stepped out of her school slippers. Picking everything up off the floor, she traded the items for her gym sneakers and shorts.

This was the perfect opportunity.

Most of her friends were in this gym hour. In one fell swoop, she could patch things up with her friends and put an end to her girlfriend problems. There were a handful of girls she would have to get to later like Kokoa's friends, Kana, Kiki, Michiko and the okami girls Tsukune ate lunch with. But most would be too polite to make problems for her before she got to them.

Fixing the padlock on her locker, Kurumu bent down to tie the laces of her sneakers. Moka was the main issue. She was unsure about how well her charm worked against that seal of hers. The seal Moka had no body or physical mind to alter. It might be impossible to charm her or tamper with her memories, regardless of how hard Kurumu tried to believe she could.

Kurumu took in a deep breath as she straightened up. She would have to reason with Moka. That made the path to happiness for everyone much clearer. Clutching her breast, she walked over to the exterior door. As she stepped out into the warm afternoon, she knew what she had to do.

She hurried down to the gap between the fence and the bleachers for the track field. She would have to talk to the gym teachers. She could not fathom a reason why they would not let her talk to the entire assembly. She was a popular girl and Coach Yaisoku knew she that she had played a part in convincing Lord Chiki that he was wrong and should withdraw.

As she trotted by the bleachers, she saw that the coaches were standing out in the field like they had yesterday. A few students were gathered on the field but none had bothered started with their stretches. Hazumi was the only girl seated at Coach Kibashiro's group. Kurumu jogged by the girl, flashing a smile at the track coach whom was chatting with Mr. Hirata.

"Hey Coach."

The instructor favored her with a snaggletooth grin. Mr. Hirata cocked his head curiously.

"I was hoping to talk to everyone today. Do you have like a megaphone thing?"

Mr. Hirata chuckled, shaking his head.

"We do, but I'm not going to get it."

"What are you needing to talk about?"

"It's nothing too serious. It won't take but five minutes."

"We don't have a whole lot of time here, Ms. Kurono."

Kurumu gazed into his tangerine eyes.

"They can do their stretches while I'm talking. I swear it won't take long."

"Are you meaning everybody as in everybody?"

Kurumu grinned at Coach Kibashiro's gesture towards the upperclassmen.

"Yea. A megaphone would be helpful."

The okami woman grinned warmly, clapping Kurumu's shoulder.

"Okay, kiddo. I'll be right back."

As the track coach trotted off, Mr. Hirata sighed heavily.

"She says that but you need to talk to the other coaches. Some might not care for you making an impromptu public announcement."

Kurumu bowed slightly to him.

"I will ask the other coaches for permission."

"Hustle to it then. You don't have much time."

Kurumu muttered her thanks to him before taking off to her left. The pixie haired blond Hoshineru was the only coach in this direction. The woman immediately took note of her approach.

"Not now, Ms. Kurono."

"I'm sorry. It will only take a minute."

"If this is concerning my volleyball club, we can talk after class."

Kurumu paused as the tall woman's words sunk in. She had completely forgotten that Coach Hoshineru was the volleyball coach. She grinned brightly, shaking her head.

"Actually this isn't about that."

"Then what is it you want right now?"

"Mr. Hirata said I should get everyone's permission to talk to the entire group."

"What for?"

"Just a quick few words is all. Coach Kibashiro is getting a megaphone for me."

The blond glanced off in the direction the other coach had departed.

"I suppose you can. Make it quick."

"Thank you very much, Coach Hoshineru."

Giving a quick polite bow, Kurumu turned abruptly on her heel and jogged back towards the other gym instructors. Mr. Hirata chuckled, shaking his head as she passed by him.

Coach Enkan was already regarding her with amusement as she approached. His curly orange locks were matted to his head as usual. His arms were crossed about his chest.

"I figured you would come running here soon. My boys told me that we were next."

Kurumu smiled, nodding at the basketball coach.

"Yea. I might get started on that."

"We don't have our first game until November, so I can always cancel a practice this week if you want to schedule photos for them."

Kurumu nodded at him, noting that students were steadily arriving on the field. The choir girls and some of those with the business elective were present.

"Thanks. Right now I'm trying to get everyone's permission to have a few words before class starts."

"I guess that's fine with me but you better make it quick."

Kurumu muttered her thanks as she bowed her head to him. She was starting to doubt she would get to the third year coaches before everyone was here, but she refused to let that discourage her. She kicked up her feet into a quick jog as she made her way over to Coach Takaku.

As she neared the tall woman whom had her ashen locks done up in many braids, Kurumu worried she would have to go through the same song and dance she had with the last two coaches. The fencing girls might have said something. She slowed her trot, catching the interest of the intimidating woman.

"Coach Takaku. Mr. Hirata said I should get permission from the other coaches to talk to everyone."

The woman shrugged indifferently.

"Go ahead."

Repeating her perfunctory gesture of gratitude, Kurumu resumed her trot down the line towards the bald Mr. Ochi whom was in charge of the judo club. She absently glanced at Coach Takaku's group, noting mostly older girls from her home ec class. Kukioba and Tsubuyama from the cheerleader squad. Hageshii and Honourou. Toboshi, Hanahara and Karada. Several track girls including Ota, Hiyoshi and Tachioujou whom was dating that guy in judo. Two more track girls she knew but not by name. Kyoufuu from band. Genzaimuta and Kazehime from tennis. She realized that she knew most of them.

"Ms. Kurono?"

She smiled at Mr. Ochi.

"I'm getting permission to talk to everyone before class begins."

"Hurry up, young lady. You don't have much time."

Kurumu nodded, forgetting to thank him as she trotted towards Coach Yaisoku. She completely ignored the boys of his group as her eyes fixated on the rest of the second year girls she would capture in this charm. Okimune was with Uta and Mizudake. The two mermaid cousins that had been at Tsukune's birthday party. Ikesuima and Yoshida from band. The beautiful Ekizo from home ec and Kagaku. The tall Hayagawa from track and that fluffy haired girl whom was always with her. And the older Yaisoku sister. She shivered as she turned her attention back to the Coach.

"Coach Yaisoku."

"Ms. Kurono. Coach Kibashiro."

Kurumu stiffened, glancing back over her shoulder. The other gym teacher came trotting up behind her, holding out a white megaphone for her. Kurumu smiled softly, looking back at the tennis coach.

"I was told to get permission from the other instructors."

"Just make your announcement, Ms. Kurono."

She smiled, taking the megaphone and nodding her thanks. It did look like nearly all of the students had gathered at this point. Glancing back at her initial group, she only noted that Satsuki was missing. Yukari was slowly making her way over with a frown.

"I'll wait another minute or two for the kids from shop and art to arrive."

"Suit yourself, Ms. Kurono."

Coach Yaisoku turned to her class.

"All right, girls. Start your stretches."

The group sounded their acknowledgment as they broke out into pairs and trios. Kurumu stepped back as she looked over the groups. She did know some of the guys in Ochi's group. A handful of kids from band, Shirenai from the cheerleading squad and the shortstop and second basemen from baseball. She imagined she would know more when the guys from shop arrived.

Her eyes drifted to the second years in the younger Mr. Miwa's group, unable to remember if he was the karate instructor or the kendo instructor. This group had guys she admired like Shiname from tennis and Akegawa's older brother. Inui was even in this group along with Kiba's cousin. Kuroishi and that blonde guy from the film club were here and so was Utsubari from the PSC.

"What are you doing?"

Kurumu squeezed the megaphone in her hands. Yukari glanced at the group of gathered students before regarding Kurumu suspiciously.

"I'm just going to thank everybody for making this school year the best I've ever had."

"Are you quitting?"

Kurumu laughed, shaking her head.

"I can't quit school, Yukari. Where would I even go?"

"I don't know. You're not very smart."

Kurumu smiled softly as she glanced over at the group of girls standing in front of Coach Kanatoko. She was mildly surprised with how many she knew. Both the beautiful Shiruba and the valedictorian Horie were in this group along with the massive Kettou and tall Kishi. All four girls were seniors on the track team. Then there was the two harpy seniors from choir along with Tebayai and Kosui from band. There was also Kurukaze from tennis and Kunahiyo from the fashion club. Hajimari from softball along with that harpy pitcher and that dark haired girl whom was also on the softball team.

"Kurumu?"

She sucked in a breath and favored Yukari a smile. She would touch so many students in one go. Hiboshi, Irewata, the younger Yaisoku and Kumiko. Madosuki, Hazumi, Juri, Orochi and Tonari. Touzoku, Asuka, Taijin, Kakeru and Goto. Nozomi, Suzume, Hatoko, Kagami and Nomura. Satsuki and Hinoko.

Tora. Mizore. Yukari.

Taking in another breath, she backed up further. She wanted everyone to be able to see her. Her eyes swept over the group one more time, taking note of the last group of senior girls. She grinned, noting little Sekkeimoto from tennis was doing stretches with the tiny Yawarakai from gymnastics. The pretty Manzoku from kimono was there and so was Chouseki and Umou from band. Bouncy bunny Haneru, the volleyball captain. Both seniors from the archery club. Dakiashi from softball. Netsukaze from gymnastics and her roommate Tensai whom Kurumu had caused so much trouble for by giving her memories of Yukari's brutal rape. The karaoke club president whose name escaped her at the moment.

"Excuse me."

Kurumu laughed, realizing she had not lifted the megaphone. She brought it up to her lips and turned a small dial.

"There. That's better."

Many students looked up at the sound of her voice. She noticed that Kakeru's boyfriend, Kitamori, was among the seniors and so was Hanabi from the manga club and his monstrel friend. Asobitani, Dakiashi's boyfriend, and Oshaberi. Several band boys including Fuzen. Nobody terribly important, but many familiar faces.

"If possible, could Tora, Mizore and Tsukune come out here with me? This is sort of a club matter but I do want everyone to hear about it."

Yukari frowned at her, glancing back at the first years. Under the prompting, Mizore and Tora both stood up from their stretches. After a moment, Tsukune did too.

"What are you doing?"

"I was told to make this quick, so could the three of you hurry over here."

Kurumu paused, favoring the concerned Yukari an empty smile. Taking in a deep breath, she turned back to regard the large group. She pushed out her desire for them to all listen to her.

"Could everyone raise your left hand so I can tell that you are hearing me?"

Yukari was first to respond to the suggestion. Then it was Coach Yaisoku and Coach Kibashiro whom were closest to her. Other coaches followed suit.

"Please. Everyone. Raise your left hand so I know you can hear me."

So I know you're under my control.

It only took a few seconds for every student assembled to have their left hand raised. This included Tora, Mizore and Tsukune as they continued to make their way over to her.

"Thank you. It means so much to me to know that everyone is paying attention to me."

"Kurumu. What are you doing?"

She smiled at Yukari whom still held her hand up dutifully.

"I wanted to thank everyone for making this an enjoyable year for me. I've never had this much fun at a school before. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have a place to call home."

Which was true. A school without students was a miserable place.

"I owe everyone a huge apology. From the depths of my heart, I am truly sorry."

Tora and Mizore arrived, coming to a stop behind Yukari. They continued holding their hands up.

"What do you need to apologize to the whole school for? It's Tsukune's mind you messed with."

Kurumu smiled softly at Mizore's gruff remark.

"No. That's unfortunately not the truth."

Tora's eyes flickered with concern.

"What else could be going on?"

Kurumu squeezed her grip on the megaphone. Her hands were sticky with sweat. There was only one direction she could take this that had a chance of making everyone happy.

Everyone else.

"I've lied to everyone. I was using my charm to be Tsukune's girlfriend."

"Yea, but we agreed that was accidental."

Kurumu shook her head at Tora.

"No. It wasn't an accident that I wanted to be his girlfriend. My charm did what I wanted it to. It made him believe I was his girlfriend. And it made everyone… everyone here… believe that we were a couple."

The three girls exchanged confused looks.

"You think you charmed us?"

"I charmed everyone. I made everyone believe the two of us were dating. As a succubus, I can make illusions to match my heart's desire. I made people see us acting all lovey and dovey when that never truly happened. I made everyone think it was happening because I wanted so much for that to be true."

She could feel the confusion of everyone. She sighed, taking in another deep breath. Her heart ached furiously as she pressed her fist to her chest.

"I was never Tsukune's girlfriend. Anything you saw was an illusion. It wasn't real. That's why I had to try so hard to stop all the gossip about Tsukune and Moka. Because that was closer to the truth."

"Are you saying that Moka and Tsukune are dating?"

Kurumu quickly shook her head at Mizore's concern.

"No. Tsukune has been under my charm too. The only one whom has never been fully under my spell is Moka. And now that she drinks my blood more regularly, it's impossible to keep up this charade."

Yukari gasped, nodding.

"That makes sense."

"But you've had sex."

Kurumu blushed, shaking her head at Mizore. She glanced at Tsukune as he staggered towards them while holding his left hand high. She managed a smile as she looked back at the snow girl.

"That was an illusion, Mizore. I've never had sex with Tsukune. I'm actually a virgin."

The sudden rise of desire from the male audience shocked her. It was difficult to register the expressions on her friends' faces with this wave of pleasure crashing through her core. In the minds of so many men, she had announced herself available and untainted. This was something her admirers wanted to correct.

"No way!"

Yukari shook her head in disbelief.

"I know you had sex with Tsukune."

"It was all illusions, Yukari."

"You couldn't possibly have faked that dream you shared with me."

"I did."

"How? If you've never had sex before, how do you make an illusion that believable?"

Kurumu blushed, unsure how to talk her way out of this. She had not thought about Yukari challenging this whole thing as an illusion based on inexperience. She bit her lip, thinking there was only one place she could go with this.

"That dream I gave you to get over things was my sex education from my mother."

Yukari balked at the deception.

"No. That was what you did to Tsukune. That was why Ms. Juunan gave her blood to break your charm."

Kurumu snorted with false bravado.

"Why would Ms. Juunan care if I was having sex with him? She broke my charm because I asked her to when she bathed me upstairs. I was getting tired of the illusions and wanted him to love me without all the smoke and mirrors. I took a gamble and it backfired."

Yukari was reeling from the explanation. She touched the side of her head with her free hand as Tsukune finally joined them. His eyes were wide with disbelief.

"Is this all true?"

She forced a smile as she looked him in the eyes.

"Of course it is. You're still a virgin."

"But it all felt so real."

"Hold up. If you've never had sex, what about all the times you've tried to impregnate my Moka?"

Mizore nodded at Yukari's remark, cocking her head inquisitively at Kurumu. Kurumu laughed nervously as she reached back to rub the back of her neck. She would have to explain her ignorance about being a succubus and Ms. Sasayaki's role in everything.

"Yes and no. I do require another woman to host a baby for me after sex. So since I was pretending to have sex, I had to pretend that I needed to impregnate someone."

"But we went to the hospital. You had to have your tail emptied."

Kurumu blushed, nodding. She lifted the megaphone to her lips.

"I did go to the hospital to empty my tail. It turns out if I masturbate too much, my tail will falsely think I'm sexually active and respond accordingly. I didn't know this prior to coming here so I turned to Ms. Sasayaki for help to understand my body."

And there was no way for them to call her a liar here. Yukari had the most understanding of what she talked about with Ms. Sasayaki. She would have to believe this because it was true.

The witch caved to her will and nodded slowly.

"That's… crazy. You've been lying to us the whole time?"

Kurumu sighed heavily.

"Yes. All for a boy I used to know when I was a child. Because I really wanted him to love me. My junior high years were not the kindest to me. But by the time I mustered up the nerve to speak to him, he had already given his heart away to Moka."

Mizore scowled at her.

"And you think an apology will make it all okay?"

Kurumu shrugged as she lowered the megaphone.

"What more can I do? I can't change the past."

Though I can change the way everyone remembers it.

"This is… a lot to take in."

Kurumu nodded at Tora.

"I'm sorry. I really wanted him. The moment I saw him, my body kicked up into make babies mode. I wasn't thinking straight. I was doing anything I could to convince the whole school that I was the only girl he had any interest in."

"Kurumu… I…"

Tsukune shook his head in disbelief.

"I'm so sorry, Tsukune. I wasn't thinking about what you wanted."

"How do we know it's over?"

Kurumu sighed at Mizore's suspicious tone. She handed Yukari the megaphone.

"You don't. I imagine none of you will ever trust me again."

"What about your relationship with my Moka?"

Kurumu frowned at Yukari.

"What about it?"

"All the kissing and touching. Was that an illusion?"

Kurumu blushed slightly, fumbling with the hem of her gym shirt.

"Moka was never fooled by anything. That was all genuine, Yukari. Kind of like how Kokoa is affectionate with her girls."

Yukari pouted at her.

"You're not lying to me?"

"No. I do need someone to carry a baby for me. Moka or Mizore. I hadn't decided on which one yet."

Mizore scowled at her, the temperature taking a notable dip.

"I'm not carrying a child for you if you're only going to get it from him by deception."

Kurumu smiled softly, glancing at Tsukune.

"I figured as much. I guess there's only one thing left for me to do."

Before anyone could think to respond to her statement, Kurumu yanked her shirt up. She felt a surge of lust from the crowd as her mauve bra was bared to the world. She slung her gym shirt aside.

"What are you doing?!"

Her chiropteran wings knifed out her back above the band of her bra. They quickly stretched out as she stepped over to grab Tsukune by the arm.

"Everyone stay here. I'm going to need at least an hour to get this done."

They all stood still, enslaved to her charm. Tsukune stared at her with wide eyes as she wrapped her arms about his torso. For a moment, a trickle of his desire touched her which caused her whole body to shiver in anticipation. It wanted to do what she imagined everyone suspected she was about to do.

"Shall we?"

And with a single pump of her wings, they took off to the sky.

Kurumu landed gingerly on the landing in front of her suite. She had shot over here as fast as he wings could carry her, guessing this had taken her no more than five minutes. But what else could she have done? If she was this terrible vixen whom had charmed the whole school, it only made sense that she would keep trying to make him hers.

She eased him down on the landing. He was unconscious, having passed out in the first moments of the flight. That was fine with her. It would make everything easier.

Turning to her door, she realized she was an idiot. She was only wearing gym shorts, panties and a strapless bra. Her keys were in her schoolbag in the classroom. She had no way of getting in.

With a sigh, she willed her two fingers into talons. Grabbing the knob with her free hand, she leveled her talons at the jamb and slammed them forward. She winced in pain but felt the door give. Yanking her fingers out of the gouge in the door, she shook her aching hand as she pushed her door in.

Clutching her throbbing hand to her aching breast, she wandered back to the limp boy on the landing. Her heart was crushing her but other parts of her were salivating with anticipation. Her body was such a curse. How could she ever be friends with him when her body hungered for physical intimacy? Annoyed with destiny, she reached down to grab him by the shoulders and dragged him into her room.

It would probably be almost a whole hour before anyone came after her. She believed in her charm. Unless someone went out there to do something about it, a third of the school would remain standing in the field with their left hands raised like a bunch of idiots. Which she had done on purpose. She wanted them to realize she could charm everyone.

Once she had him clear of the door, she let him drop. She stalked back over and closed the door. Bending down, she untied the laces for her sneakers, taking them off. On a whim, she also took his off and placed them neatly beside hers.

She looked at her door and sighed. When they did come for her, they would not be stopped by her door. She wondered whom she could talk to about getting that fixed. Shaking her head, she moved back over to Tsukune and bent down to grab him by his shoulders. Lifting him up, she dragged him over to her bed.

There was one more thing she had to do. Right now, everything was a charm. If he got a sip of her blood, it would all come crashing down. But there was something that would not go away.

Memories.

She doubted a sip of her blood could ever fix the changes she had made to those.

She hauled him up onto her bed, dragging his legs up and rolling him onto his back. She sighed as she knelt down beside the bed with her elbows upon the mattress. She bowed her head, smelling the clean linen sheets. She had washed them twice but they still had that distant, sexy smell upon them. If only she could alter her own memories without any recollection of doing so. Maybe then she could pretend that this scent was the result of her masturbating like a foolish girl over a man whom would never see her as a woman.

She knew she should not wait. Eventually Moka would come after her. She had left this huge suggestion that Moka was immune to her, which would push Yukari to beg the vampire to save Tsukune from the vile temptress. She had become the enemy of everyone.

Kurumu lifted her head up, peering over her arms. Her head was by his shoulder. She glanced at his face and sighed. Her heart skipped a beat at the thought of kissing him. She wanted him. If she was going to be the villain, should she not at least play the part?

She lifted up and took a seat on the bed. Her eyes swept down his body, noting how firm his torso was beneath that gym shirt. She gingerly placed a hand at the hem of his gym shorts. Her heart fluttered and her body ached. She wanted to pull them down. She wanted him, even if it would be the last time.

She shivered at the feeling of his attention. She quickly removed her hand, managing a smile as their eyes met. She knew he was still under her charm by the dazed look in his eyes.

"Tsukune."

"Kurumu?"

"How are you feeling?"

He jerked up to a seated position, glancing about the room.

"Where am I?"

"In my room. You've been in here before."

He nodded dumbly, his hand absently touching the sheet at his side.

"Yea… the first time was on my birthday. You gave me a watch."

"Which you never wear."

He smiled apologetically.

"I… left it at my parent's house."

Kurumu frowned, fairly sure she had seen him wear it in Okinawa. But then she remembered he had gone to his parents' house instead of coming back with everyone else. She laughed softly. She should have realized it sooner.

"You've given up on me."

Kurumu shuddered when he abruptly hugged her. Conflicting emotions raged in her troubled heart as he squeezed her against his torso. His chin rested on her shoulder. She could feel the beat of his heart.

"Kurumu. Sorry."

It hurt.

"What are you apologizing for? Dummy. I'm the one that tricked you."

"I promised I would never hurt you."

She managed a laugh. She slipped her hands between them, pushing on his midsection.

"Stop. We were just kids."

"It doesn't make it right."

She was choking on her lies. She pushed him harder but his grip on her remained firm.

"I charmed you, Tsukune. Don't you get it?! I was making you want me."

He relaxed his grip to draw back to arms' length. He peered into her eyes with that vacant look.

"But you're stopping now. That's why you told everyone the truth."

It hurt so much. But everyone would be happier this way.

"Are you… forgiving me?"

His eyes glanced aside.

"It's difficult. I want to be friends, Kurumu. But those illusions…"

She grabbed the sides of his shirt tightly.

"What do you want me to do?"

"I want you to be smiling. I want you to be happy."

A tear rolled down her cheek.

"But that's hard, Tsukune. I don't know how."

"Could… could you take those illusions away?"

Kurumu swallowed thickly.

"Which illusions?"

"Sex. It makes it hard to be your friend when I see you like that."

This weight of despair would crush her. She had told him it was all a lie and now he wanted those precious memories to be taken away. It made sense though. She nodded as another tear fell.

"Okay. I'll fix that."

"I'm sorry, Kurumu. I know you wanted so much more from me."

She scooted in closer.

"I just want you happy, Tsukune. More than anything. If that's with someone else, I have to accept it. I have to let you go."

He looked up at her. His face was so close.

"We'll still be friends, right?"

"I'll be whatever you need me to be."

"Smiling. Cheerful. Carefree. Like you used to be."

She nodded with a heavy heart. She touched his cheek and tilted her head.

"Okay. One last kiss."

"Kiss?"

"It will help make the bad memories go away."

He surrendered his lips to hers as they both closed their eyes.

She dove into his mind, this time meeting no resistance to her intrusion. No malicious presence taunting her as she worked her way into his memories to start at the point of when they had met on campus. She made subtle changes to leave her undeniably in the wrong with her initial charm over him. She tweaked his reasoning of pulling away into a more firm belief that he knew her from somewhere and felt wrong to cross the line before he understood everything.

She moved forward, removing how forward she had been at the picnic trip in which she had announced her status as his girlfriend. She replaced it with playfulness and teasing. And she did the same with all of her laundry trips. She spun a new version of each of these alone times into her flirting with him but he always held back for the same reason. He knew her from somewhere, but he never asked and she never would tell him.

She never stripped in his room or wore any of his clothes. She was a good girl. Playful and shy when it came to physical things. The most she would do is rub his face in her tits, but only because it was a joke. It was the one thing she would do to him. It never was more serious than that.

She took away all of their serious conversations about their future together. About meeting his parents. About becoming immune to her. She left him with a playful, stupid girl whom was too scared to actually do anything outside of illusions and charm.

She saw how much those boys had teased him about her being his girlfriend. She was tempted to alter those memories, but she left them in place. She figured if he did remember these things, she could remind him that everyone was being tricked by the illusions. Though seeing these interactions made her realize that she would need to stop by his dorm. Kamitsuku was the only one that had seventh period gym. She would need to free the rest of them from this misunderstanding.

She wiped out his memories with the boys talking about his loss of virginity. And her offer to give it up which she had made in front of Kamitsuku. She could feel how uncomfortable these interactions had made him. Even if she blamed her illusions, this was not something she should leave him with.

It was painfully easy. Taking away all those sensual moments between them and replacing them with harmless horseplay. She was his goofball. A cheerful idiot whom he regarded as less mature than Yukari. The slight changes of his memories brought forth new emotions in those moments. She made him feel nostalgic, though he never could place his finger on why.

Condoms were slung at him while he was Moka on his birthday party. She left that intact. But she altered his mood towards her. And when it came to giving him his present in private, she had accidentally clocked him over the head. He woke up the next morning on the floor, clothed and in her arms. She had profusely apologized about making him spend the night. And he had forgiven her on the spot. Some minor tweaks to the conversation with Yukari in the morning with her deliberately pretending it had been more serious than it had been to make him uncomfortable. She was such a naughty girl, causing him headaches like that.

The Kofu trip was a huge overhaul. The sex was easy enough to remove since he had been sleeping when she had mounted him. She just removed it entirely. The cuddly, helpless behavior of hers was replaced with more silliness and playfulness. Moka drank her blood because she was being too annoying.

The wild, passionate night filled with sex after the return from Kofu was thrown out entirely. She had nothing good to replace it with, so she left it blank. She hoped he would not question how he had arrived at the dining hall that morning before they went to the school to work on their articles. She had to do the same thing to the following day since he followed her home after banging her in the laundry room. She had barely been able to stand when he made love to her in the shower the following morning. Damn they had had so much sex that first week.

She altered the situation of trying to impregnate Moka to something less sexual. He had not witnessed most of the embarrassing moments, so she had herself collapse instead. As far as he knew, she was taken unconscious to the hospital while he had his blood checked.

The next instance of sex did not take place until he regained consciousness in the hospital after the Headmaster placed the holy lock on him. It was easier to adjust these memories as he had been the sole instigator here. They talked instead. Amusingly it had been about Moka.

It was a week later at Kiki's birthday party when things got sexual again. Like the last time, he had been the initiator so they simply never went to the bathroom together. It was a short break of continuity she doubted he would miss.

The big thing she was changing these days after the hospital was his sensual feelings towards her. He was the one wanting the sex. It was that way all the way up to the point of him getting Ms. Juunan's blood. It pained her to change these memories of longing for her. But she knew this had been inspired by her charm. This was her punishment.

She hesitated, but decided to nuke all the awkward conversations Tsukune had with Mizore concerning her carrying their baby. Kurumu knew that she would have to go to Mizore and do the same to her. This was her fault. The thought of bringing another woman into their relationship had made Tsukune extremely uncomfortable.

At least… if that woman was Mizore. He seemed fine with the notion of it being Moka, actually enjoying the thought of a threesome. He had never been attracted to Mizore. He did see her as a charity case. Someone to be pitied. He cared about her, but he believed if he did anything with her, he would be taking advantage of her.

Since she was here and making Tsukune happy was her goal, she destroyed all his awkward moments with Mizore. Again, this was something she would need to fix with the boys on his floor and with Mizore. But it would be for the best. Tsukune had never wanted to see Mizore naked. So she took it away.

She took away the sex in her cheerleader outfit and his experiments with maid and thong sex before they had left for the summer break. She replaced this with cheerful stupidity and rubbing his face in her tits. That was her thing. Perhaps the remnants of his sexy outlook of her made him regard these events as harder to resist without physical reaction. But she let him hold on to his dignity. He never returned the affection this dumb girl certainly wanted. Because deep down, he knew that he could not.

The last major event she had to change was her birthday at his house. This was not so hard. She removed most of the serious conversation, like she always did. Mizore came out with accusations. Dressed in a swimsuit because Mizore was weird. Yukari came in and pulled off her towel. She got mad and chased both brats out into the streets. No sex happened.

It was not like she had to change the following day that much since she had not been in any mood to be affectionate and he had been harassed and teased over his girlfriend all day long. He had not harbored any lustful thoughts on her that day, mostly due to her attitude and the other girls being a pain.

It was so easy to remove everything intimate about their relationship. Technically they had sex one more time when he met with her at the Shuzen Estate, but that was another thing she left blacked out. He woke up late in that day and Ms. Juunan gave him succubus blood. No further explanation was needed.

There was nothing left. And she saw little reason to touch the events of this past month, doubting he had harbored any passionate feelings for her when he deliberately left her present to him at home.

She pulled back with tears in her eyes. He stared vacantly with his hands loosely on her sides. She swallowed thickly as her heart threatened to crush her. She felt like she could throw up.

"It's over, Tsukune. You're free."

"Kurumu."

She shivered at the sound of Moka's voice. She turned her gaze to the door. Moka was standing by her stove with Tora next to her. Mizore lurked in her entryway with her head cocked.

"What were you doing?"

Yukari leaned against the wall with her arms crossed below her chest. Two schoolbags and her white satchel were lying next to her feet. Presumably one of those bags belonged to Kurumu.

"How long have you been here?"

"Long enough to know you were messing with his head again."

Kurumu's heart twisted at Mizore's accusation. She stumbled onto her feet, pulling away from her bed.

"It doesn't matter. It's over."

"Kurumu. I love you."

A tear rolled down her cheek as she glanced at Tsukune. He was still in a daze.

"I'll always be your friend."

The anger directed upon her quickly dissipated as she turned back to face her friends.

"The dream is over."

She took her first step away from him and her heart gave out.

She fell into the darkness.
