Clem watched as looked up at the wooden trapezoid sign that had the words painted in a black color, and as soon as she and her friends passed the enterance of the park, Clementine was soon pushed down onto the sidewalk below, Kirby falling down with her since he was being carried by her.

"Hey!" Sylvia shouted while coming to help Clem and Kirby.

"I...I'm fine," Clem assured Sylvia. "I wasn't watching where I was going anyways."

Sylvia gave the kid one more look before following Clem and Kirby to where the others were playing. Kirby let go of Clem's left hand once he caught sight of the swings and climbed up onto the seat, but was picked up by Clem and put in her lap when she sat down on the seat. Clem kicked her legs back and forth and the higher that the two children got, the more Kirby laughed, and Clem just smiled seeing the younger child laugh with joy. Kirby soon grew tired of being on the swing and so did Clementine, and soon after Clem got them to stop, Kirby took off to the next thing, which was the merry-go-round. And once again, Kirby was back in Clem's lap while Sylvia pushed them along with Tori, Jaydyn, Ayden, and Jack, and Kirby was back to laughing, but much louder than when he and Clem were on the swings.

"Wheeeeee!" Squealed a excited Kirby. When they came to a stop, Kirby wasted no time to chant; "Again! Again!"

This time, it was Clementine's turn to push everyone, and this time, Kirby sat by himself and not on somebody's lap, which made Kirby even more excited. Clem gave the merry-go-round a big push, and did it again, and again, and again, and the merry-go-round spun faster when Clem was pushing it this time.

"Poyo, poyo, poyo!" Kirby chanted happily towards Clementine.

"No, that's enough Kirby." Clem said and Kirby pouted. "Oh come on, there's still the slides and the seesaws."

"S-Slide! S-Seesaws!" Cheered Kirby as he ran off to the slides first.

He climbed up the ladder that lead up to the metal slide, sat down, and soon the boy was going down the slide and laughing as he did. And back up the ladder Kirby went, and did it 12 more times every time he went down the slide. Kirby's next destination was the seesaws, but when he went to go find the birthday girl, she was nowhere to be found.

"Clem?" Kirby asked. "Clemmie?"

Kirby walked back to where he last saw Clem, which was the merry-go-round, and she wasn't there either.

"Clementine! Clementine!" Kirby yelled as he started to run around. "CLEM!"

"Kirby?" The birthday girl came out from behind a tree and Kirby immediately rushed up and latched onto her left leg. "Kirby, what's-" Clem stopped once she saw the tears in Kirby's eyes. "Oh Kirby, I'm so sorry, I should've told you that I was playing hide-and-seek with the others."

"P-Poy-Poyo." Kirby sniffled. Kirby was picked up and held by Clementine while the girl dried the leaving tears with her thumbs on both hand.

"Come on, come on, shh, shh." Clem tried to soothe the younger child. "I'm sorry Kirby, I'm sorry."

Finally, Kirby calmed down and he just relaxed in Clementine's arms as she cradled him slowly. Clem decided that they were done at the park for the day and she made sure that she told all her friends knew that she and Kirby were leaving. Once Clem was done, she and Kirby walked away from the park.

Clem grabbed her new wallet that Jaydyn and Tori got her for one of her birthday presents from her pocket and took nine five dollar bills from the the light brown colored wallet and headed into the Bridgelight Book Store.

"Good morning, Clem!" Clementine heard the store's owner, Benard Montgomery, greet her. "And you too, Kirby!"

"Poyo!" Kirby greeted Benard back..

Clem and Kirby moved through the large crowd which was uncommon for Bridgelight, it had never been that busy and crowded for the two years that Kirby and Clementine had lived on Kulonoe and in Grimsby, and reached the novel section for kids nine through 10. She grabbed one that was $12.00 and was called Human Of The Solstice Book One, along with it's sequal, Human Of The Solstice Book Two, which was also $12.00. Kirby had wandered off out of the aisle that Clem was in and walked to the aisle behind it. Looking around, Kirby saw many different colored book covers that had the titles of the books on it, along with the designs to make the covers different and unique from one another.

Kirby walked through each of the aisles until he was in the fifth aisle on the left from where Clementine was and Kirby was once again staring at each book cover on the shelf. His attention was suddenly taken away from looking at the book covers by seeing somebody come from behind him. And once Kirby saw who it was, he gave them a big smile and reached up to hug the person.

"Kirby!" Clementine came into view of the star warrior child and immediately pulled Kirby out of the person's arms. "Why didn't you tell me where you were going?! Somebody could've taken you and hurt yo-"

Clementine stopped scolding Kirby when she looked up to the person and a new person joining the first one. And they were two people that Clem thought that she would never see again.

"Tiff? Tuff?"
